Agreed! I can’t stand the make over challenge. They always pick the most obvious, uninspired, basic looking make overs. That Bert and Ernie one was so good on multiple levels! Also, what does family resemblance even mean? My family all dress different and two of my siblings are twins! So my family would all look different and unique, not the same. I was a punk when i was younger and my husband says i still am) and i tend to fall for those out of drag.and/or in drag who are more alternative or punk right away. So i just loved her from the second she walked out; and then pretty much everything she did. Watching Project Runway, i was visibly hurt when one of the weirder designers would get sent away too soon. I think that creative reality shows are letting the weirdos express themselves more and I appreciate that they've gotten that it makes for good TV. I think a lot of us are just starving for authentic creativity.
