That LP is my favorite Rancid album. I was 8 or 9 when it came out, always been listening to it since then and I always get amazed with those basslines

Note: to new bassists: what Matt is referring to as a hammer-on is in fact called a pull-off, although the concept is extremely similar to a hammer on. The difference is that with a hammer on, the 2nd note is higher than the first, and with a pull-off, the 2nd note is lower (you pull the 1st note OFF to play the 2nd).

@Matt if you're re-doing songs (this one has an existing Bass Bunker session!) can you re-do some of the ones where you didn't talk about your memories or go over the technique before the playthrough? I love seeing you play "Here We Go Again" on here, for example, but as it's my fave OpIvy song I'd love any more thoughts you had on it.

When I was 15 my punk band covered this song. I spent hours playing along with the CD trying to get the bass line right. I was almost there. Funny, it was the intro the I messed up. Amazing to find this online and I can finally play it properly for the first time!

Yesterday "Dead Bodies" showed up on my feed, now this one. I really need to listen to this album again. Can't wait for you to do "Radio Havana".
