Ordered the quartz 36mm version last night. This will be my first Baltany watch and I am really looking forward to having it.

Micro adjust on the inside of clasp... just like the Rolex. Also has the sweaty day flip lock extention. Cronos doesnt disappoint.

I purchased this watch last year on sale, just to give it a try. I love tbe watch & still cant believe how well made it is for the money.

There's nothing wrong with the bracelet!! People are just used to over-engineered, uunecessarily heavy bracelets these days. Nearly all watch bracelets in this period (whether from Seiko, Rolex, Omega or whatever) would have had the same type of stamped clasp and hollow end links. It's actually very practical and much lighter on the wrist than a modern bracelet. In fact, this particular Seiko bracelet is extremely high quality for the period. All of the links in the bracelet itself are solid steel (with none of the links being folded). Omega, Rolex etc. bracelets of this period all had at least some folded links. It only feels "cheap" because it's light and elegant and people nowadays falsely equate weight with quality (when in fact the opposite should be the case for an object designed to be worn on the wrist).

I have a dark Pepsi cronos and a pagani batman with nh34. The cronos is way better than the pagani, it's a HUGE improvement. The paganis lume is terrible, and the rehaut is so deep, and the bezel action is not great. Cronos just gets it done better in every category. To me the pagani just feels cheap, and the cronos feels like a solid premium watch. I got my cronos for about $175 usd during a sale

I have small wrists as well, and was worried about the weight and size. Fortunately, it wears very comfortably thanks to the beveling on the underside of the case. It keeps great time as well. This thing is the bargain watch of the century! Also, it can be easily modded to your individual taste cheaply and easily.

I wish the hands are a bit better, polished or better looking. That is probably the only thing that makes the watch feel cheap.

I have the titanium version and it’s crazy how much you get for under $300. Full titanium case and bracelet with a ceramic bezel that feels amazing once it loosens up and sapphire glass all while basically running within cosc

It is so worth it I bought this exact watch a couple weeks ago and it’s the watch we’ve all wanted but Tudor refuses to give us. I got the titanium

I have one, but it's a chronometer officially certified(no superior)June 1970 manufacture on a very nice brown/tan Seiko strap that I added a KS signed buckle from Vintage Time AU. It's all very nice and to me punches well above its price point in class and style.

I own this watch, runs around +5 seconds a day I love the way the bracelet looks, not tried it on any other strap yet. Thr only negative for me is that its slightly on thr heavy side, apart from that for the money it's a great watch.

Yes, I am interested in adding this to my Seiko collection. It’s a very handsome watch despite some of the deficiencies you pointed out. But then again as they say, “there is no perfect watch”.

Cronos clasps need serious sanding and finishing. So many very shadp edges! Bracelet and head are great quality tho

I don’t understand why a sapphire crystal upgrade costs over $100 dollars. I think these are cool watches but are a bit overpriced considering what’s on offer.

First you are showing 2 different watches. One with a lime at the 3 o'clock and the other without a lume at the 3 o'clock. 1:16 watch is different to 1:24 watch.

Sorry,I don't see the point of the half link... The whole idea behind the on the fly adjustment is that you can easily adjust at any moment the bracelet to fitcyour wrist.

I absolutely love this piece. I've had it for 2 years. The bracelet is great, I swim with it everyday. It's become a go-to.

Does the one which says made in Japan in the dial , do they have kanji day wheel option ?

I purchased one of these, the '101' for $1,200 at the time of their release. From day one it averaged 45-60 seconds slow, daily. After two years I returned it to Seiko's US service center for their recommended periodic maintenance, and when it was returned it's accuracy was within Seiko's spec - for a month before returning to it's 'former self.' I returned it twice more for re-calibration that same year, with little improvement. Each time, it ran within spec, and within a few weeks ran well outside of spec. I truly enjoyed the quality of manufacture and size of the watch, it's a handsome unit; but Seiko's calibre is unreliable and I will never purchase one of their watches with it again . . .

This is the best watch from Cronos imo. Got the pepsi one for $185 incl shipping from the last November sale, couldn't be more happy with the quality of the product. I have other chinese brands (San Martin, Steeldive etc) watches but this is the one that gets the most wrist time.

Great review, but I do have an "big picture" observation... To say that this is a "homage" watch, to a watch that is in itself an homage watch is a circular argument. The watches that the both the SERICA And the IPOSE are paying homage to, are the Omega Seamaster 300 & the 50 fathoms. To say that one is the homage-of-the-homage just seems to be completely silly. The fact the Serica made it first is frankly pointless, especially when the Chinese homage was better than the "original homage". I'm saving my $1000 Dollars and buying the IPOSE - Thank you!

I have several 4r and 6r watches. The 6r watches all have a positional variance of 20+ seconds. I consider the 4r an upgrade. Currently wearing my srpd41 blue zen garden and I love it! I never noticed the date window was frosted. Thanks!

Just received a San Martin I purchased for the wife. I have two of the old style with screw in pins in the bracelet. Sizing this for her small wrist was a night mare. The new system is cheap and ridiculous. Each link has a sleeve, and a push pin that goes in. The sleeve automatically falls out each time a link is removed. The pins are a Bear to remove. Nearly just sent it back.

Personally I think Pagani Design makes the best Sub Homage.

I bought SPB313 with white dial, and i can say I'm trilled....just one BIG minus from my side ,and that's the diver extension. Now I'm in search for aftermarket clasp.

I'm torn between this and the Sugess GMT with thwir darker blue and red bezel. Do you think this is better? How's the rehaut? I don't like the San Martin's rehaut that is thick and makes the dial look deep. I appreciate your thoughts. Thank you😊
