Season 3 was a huge disappointment and I think it has more to do with Netflix coming in and putting the axe on a good series. This could have gone 4-5 seasons. I personally loved the first two seasons but I had to skim through the last one because there were way too many new themes being crammed into the finale. Netflix needs to stop pushing good series out and let them grow organically. I think the producers also overdid the nudity scenes. It started to turn into more of an adult film rather than navigating through the series.

The biggest issue I've had with Agatha and most of the other shows from the MCU lately is that they feel uninspired. When Gen V was coming out at the same time as Loki, my wife and i would watch them back to back. I hated following Gen V up with Loki because the characters felt so bland in comparison to the Gen V characters. And it isn't even like Gen V had the best characters of all time or anything.

She was only being the mean cop because she was spiraling out if her spell and you catch it when people start telling her she hasnt been herself but she sees it as attacks on her because shes in that loopy state before the teen breaks her out of the spell

This ended like they planned for season 4 yet didn’t want to re shoot shit so they just added some concluding scenes yet left others as they were for a season 4. Terrible.

This series is almost as cringe as landing on the cryptic emo posts we made as teenagers on Facebook back in 2008.

The original Beetlejuice was never anything great. I was around 12 when I saw it in the theater and it proceeded to be on cable throughout my teen years. If I was to do a rotten tomatoes or Siskel & Ebert type rating of a thumbs up or thumbs down it could probably go either way, but I guess I would go down. It just was never a fun movie to watch or rewatch. Even bad movies that would get replayed to nauseam would end up having a degree of rewatchability if you're bored, but Beetlehjuice would barely beat out watching an infomercial. I think some people may have liked the idea of it more than it's entertainment value... ones mind traces back to Beetlejuice doing and saying crazy things and you may give it a hindsight approval, but when it came to putting your money where your mouth was and having to rewatch it, I think it would give a more accurate rating as to just how much viewers liked it. So, I'd have to imagine that a new Beetlejuice would be better, because it would be challenging to do worse, however while I was oblivious to Winona Ryder being a subpar actor when I was younger (or maybe she wasn't too bad when she was younger), as I watched her in Stranger Things it blew me away how someone who's that bad at acting could be getting work. I don't think I've ever witnessed an actor in a non budget show/movie act that poorly before... it's porn acting bad. I'd have to imagine that this would detract from it if she's in it a lot (hopefully the daughter would be central with Winona essentially having a cameo or something). Does she give a tolerable performance in this? It boggles my mind that she's employable at this point.

When *YOU* watch a movie, the 90 minutes of the movie is just part of the time you spend on it, you record a 2 hour video about the 90 minutes then you edit it down once, twice perhaps 3 times

Michael Keaton asked for Bettlejuice to continue to be a minor part of the movie and i think that's an important part, becauee like you said, the character can be a lot. So sometimes a little goes a long way...

I love films that assume their audience is super smart. I think the show-runners also meant for the show to be ambiguous with lot of question marks. What I think is at the heart of the story is when Gideon said "eternal recurrence” - as a continuous loop from birth to death and back. Most relive the same cycle time and again with no awareness of a previous existence, but some - like Gideon - have déjà vu presentiments in which they ‘remember’ something that will happen in their future, because they’ve lived through it before.

Don’t let this man cook again concerning endings 😂 don’t get me wrong I didn’t like the ending either but what he said is so cracked out that imo would’ve gotten far more backlash than what we got. 😅

i totally relate. five my fav character with kalus as 2nd most fav n they just ruined their characters especially five's. plus season 4 was such a big disappointment. i couldnt even watc any episode in one go while i used to watch the whole seasons in one seating. the whole ben thing was so cringe. the ending was stupid n nonsensical.

The biggest problem is Netflix, well, all streaming to be honest. If it isn't super cheap, it HAS TO drive new subscriptions to be worth it. Netflix would cancel CSI, Mad Men, House etc if they were their own shows, but keep the equivalent of Game of Thrones or Succession because, like Stranger Things, people would get Netflix for it. Nobody who had refused to get Netflix beforehand, and didn't have their mind changed by Stranger Things, saw the trailer for Umbrella Academy and signed up just to watch it. Nobody was even a big enough My Chemical Romance fan to become a Netflix subscriber if they weren't before. I fear for Severance on Apple for the same reason, there aren't enough car chase or dragons to make people subscribe and stay subscribed to watch, it won't get to end how it should, but not wanting to piss off Ben Stiller might be enough for Apple to at least let it finish and not cancel it part way through.

it was a cruel death, but it did mean something, for the audience. So in universe, their ups and downs aren't to be remembered because they've undone time with erasing themselves, but we, as the audience do remember, so it has worth. But it was not the ending we wanted, or at least a lot of us didn't want. Right now, that means bitter bad taste in the mouth, but seasons 1 - x still exist for us . . . whether we want to revisit is a different thing.

Just from the feelings I got from watching, I noped out by episode 2, and from the reviews after, I didn't make a mistake leaving early. Sad. I had anticipation and hope, and should have known by the fewer episodes, bad things were afoot.

Re: Hobbits, I think at the end of last season they set it up so this season we'd have Nori and The Stranger as one plotline, and we'd also follow Poppy (discount Sam-Wise), Nori's family and the other hobbits in another. But between seasons they decided to drop the second hobbit plot line. The reason doesn't really matter, but I suspect it's more to do with how many plot lines they set themselves up with to balance this season and future ones. If that was the original intention would explain why Poppy didn't go with them at the end of last season, and why she just appears very early on in this one. Her original plot was cut and she was inserted here. I like Poppy, she plays off Nori really well, so I'm glad to have her back.

I never understood why Issac was cold, what does he mean by that, why is his “sadness” in the form of cold. Also that seen where he starts laughing is also strange since he can’t feel emotion but when he has pain he’s amused. We need a second season

This is a legitimate huge jump up in writing and directing and logic. The actors also seem more comfortable with their characters. I think this is like going from Thor 2: The Dark World to Thor 3: Ragnarok. It's just a lot better.

The two pitches to the Orcs were, Sauron: "I will walk through oceans of your dead bodies, but in the end I'll control everything!" and Adar: "We may have to fight, but I'll look after you like a Father!" The Orcs deciding to go with Adar was pretty easy. It didn't seem like the killing they objected to so much as Sauron's evident not caring about how many of them died. Seemed understandable.

It was actually still the same Reginald as season three. The problem is that he doesn’t act like it! And they try to give him plot beats that would only have worked with season one reginald

I know some people love it, but I absolutely hated the fact that Reginald was the one that ended Ben and Jennifer. He sent the kids with Pogo across the world to an extremely secure location and like 2 minutes after getting called by Luther he magically appears ?? If he could have just ended Jennifer himself within minutes, why would a super genius alien even risk the kids coming in contact with her? That doesn't seem like something he would actually do. It would've been better if Ben set the charge and heard Jen knocking from inside the container but before he could investigate the guards heard the knocking too and distracted him. while he fights off the goons, the rest of the family hears him struggling and runs back to aid him but right before they meet-up again, BOOM! the bomb goes off taking Ben, Jen, and the surrounding goons with them. Luther grows up blaming himself for not being a good enough leader. The other feel bad for forcing Ben to go when he didn't even want to. And THEN they find out that there was a girl in the container the whole time. So now they have to deal with the extra layer of "we would've never agreed to go had we known the truth Reginald kept from us."

I liked season 1&2 but yeah hate how they ruined Allison, Luther(never got any resolve with Allison or anything), then also klaus. My head canon says the show ended after season 3

Klaus and the whole Five and Lila story, and Lila's and Diego's marriage problems, were nothing but fillers because they didn't know what to do with the characters, and because the season would probably just have been four episodes without them.

the stuff with Reginald killing ben don't even make sense if you think about it 1). if they came in contact with Jennifer it could end the world then why send them and take that chances 2). he end up following them in that case why send the kids why not do it himself

The fact that most of the characters are basically acting like stupid clueless liberals just makes me love this film even more because that's literally what most ppl would actually do & act like in 2024 if they ever landed on that planet , they would be just as dumb & still living in lala land like they are here in real life so seeing them all die in brutal ways for having zero common sense is so comedic & refreshing to me personally & it makes this movie go from a 6/10 to a 8/10 instantly 😂 This movie is secretly a accurate documentary depiction of how stupid ppl actually are today in 2024 & i fuckin love it ❤️🥱

The original Alien Trilogy are all tied at 1# in my opinion because i like them all the same for separate reasons ❤ Alien : Covenant is 2# in my book just because of Fassbender , the Neomorph scenes & the ending ❤ Prometheus is 3rd because it wasn't meant to be a Xenomorph film , it was only made to answer the biggest question every real Alien fan has been asking since 1979 which is : who is the Space Jockey??? That's literally the only thing u need to care about in this film & nothing else!!! AVP is 4th because it's a fun movie & has great practical effects but falls flat for not making it R rated!!!! Resurrection is 5th , I literally turn it off after the underwater scene ends because everything after that is just ridiculous!!! AVP Requiem is last & always will be & I have nothing else to say about it 😂 Haven't seen Romulus yet but I'm sure it will at least make my top 2 or 3 after the OG Trilogy!!!!! I don't care about opinions because they are usually a bunch of crybabies that are sensitive picky little idiots that were all spoiled raised kids & over privileged & are just half ass fans anyway because they bitch about everything so they have zero opinions & hold zero weight & theyre opinions are 100% irrelevant anyways 🤧🥱🖕
