Not only AC3 has realistic physics, it seem to have emulated gravity, because if you do the most basic Aerobatics, like a Loop, on your way down, you realize that the jet's weight and momentum pulls you further down to the ground.

let's be honest - if such gem as AC3 (Jap-release ofc, tnx project Nemo I have oppotunity to replay it as adult without dat 35-36 mission bs) with all it's multiple endings, physics, visual design, cutscenes, soundtrack, etc. would be remastered nowdays - that gonna be hella banger. But we live in clown-ish and totally cursed world where AC7 still dot have adjustable FOV since release (that's not main reason why world is cursed but it's totally clown-ish)

try evading missiles in Project Wingman, especially with a threat level above 10 while on merc difficulty

Clouds in PW are some seriously scary stuff. Especially in conquest mode if you happen to get Very Cloudy + Night Time + Mountainous Terrain on a ground attack type of mission

So this is called a Shepard Tone. Its an audiatory illusion with new sounds coming up from the bottom to ensure there's always a perceptual change. Its similar to how a barber pole illusion works.

Graphics are better in AC7 imo but PW still knows how to clutch up with cinematics and UI design

the only thing i relaly hate about Ace Combat is that max altitude being too small, except for Ace Combat 3 where you could even see the stars once you were soooo high

My only problem with project wingman is that the PW MK.1 is a jack of all trades, master of all plane that does everything perfectly and completely throws away the need for every other plane and it gets boring using the same plane over and over.

Is Ace Combat realistic Answer: No it's not, and that's okay because that's not what I look for in video games.

AC3 control realistic made me try to manage my throttle and control especially dive down or sharp turning, welp it became easy once I had Final Stage aircraft from those different story phase per each faction
