@@MontaniRacing yeah thats what im doing with the rare prelude its auto i blew the box up so got a manual but hoping to find a lsd they go to 5 speed for mine though as not found a 6 speed the runs in the right direction

@@MontaniRacing I've got a blown headgasket on my 7mge and I'm debating if I use a composite gasket as a more budget repair. I'm told composite gaskets are more forgiving with lower quality surfaces finishes and MLS headgaskets require a freshly machined surface. Obviously stripping the engine and shipping it off to be machined is the big cost that I'm trying to avoid. Any advice?

@@johnrichards7847 the surfaces of your head and block should always be top quality before doing any headgasket. And every block differs so only you can make that call upon your own judgement but as long as you 100% get head skimmed. Make sure it is nice. And check deck for flatness, if anything dents, grooves, fingernail catching damage, then you should have the block decked aswell. Those 2 things are a must before doing any head gasket replacement. If you do a repair like this, there is really no point in doing it twice. Do it once, do it best. Make it high quality. Use a MLS, it will stand up better over time. And get some high quality arp studs in there!👍🏽 Crank Seal, Cam Seal, New Belts, New Pulleys, New Tensioners, Idlers .etc New Water Pump. New Thermostat. New Coolant. Then Oil and Filter Change. Change The Plugs. Magnetic sump plug in. Might aswell throw in dizzy cap and rotor arm for good measure. I hope this was useful for you.

@@doggodog838 I am glad it helped you. Only one thing to note, depending on which map sensor you use, my mapper had to invert the map signal in the map. But this setup works well. The car is quick! Have you watched my dyno video on my channel? And also the video of me taking the car for a run?

@@johnmcgerty9320 That would have made wheel options very small indeed. Plus I did not want too much brake bias to the front to then have to fiddle about with that too.

@@lezscartes7798 it is basically a hybrid evo 9 turbo. And yes it spools quick and pulls hard, but smooth. Sounds great!

Sounds great for sure. I also had a evo 6 2.3 stroker with a s205b, and that hit very hard but took a little bit of time to spool. I also have a evo 9 with a hks gt2! That is probably the best turbo, but cost over £3k.
