This channel is about all things military. I try to bring content from military ranges, low flying areas and bases, that are a bit different.
My interest in marching bands stems from my time as a Sea Cadet where I was lucky to receive training from instructors at The Royal Marines School of Music.
My passion for aviation comes from working as a photo-journalist which provided me with the opportunity to work closely the MOD and fly "backseat" in fast jet aircraft on many occasions.

RAF HEAVY-LIFT | C-17 | A400M | RAF LEEMING | NORTH YORKSHIRE UK
RAF heavy-lift aircraft deployed to RAF Leeming to take part in exercises that also included the Chinook Helicopter force. RAF Leeming in North Yorkshire, trains, delivers and supports UK and overseas Expeditionary Air Operations.
The base is also home to the Joint Hawk Training Squadron which trains student pilots from the RAF and Qatar Emiri Air Force.

2 X RAF Typhoons, an A400M and 2 x Hawks flying through LFA17 along the Thirlmere Reservoir. The video's were taken from both Station Coppice and "Tornado Ledge" which is on the way up to Smaithwaite.

THE AAC recently held exercise Gordon Zenith at RAF Spadeadam to train crews how to deploy effective countermeasures against ground based threats. Both Chaff and Flares were used on the range.

Always felt there’s something special about the Chinook, it’s an absolute beast and sounds epic as it approaches from a distance- that great, deep, baritone thud always gets me out of my seat to hear it approaching and then pass at a surprisingly fast speed for such a huge lump of machinery it is.😊

I imagine those on parade were reservists. Having been in the navy we never marched as units. Only the reservists would have had the time to practice what was an excellent parade.
Hi William, yes you would normally expect that but I understand from the families of those who took part that they were drawn from ships/bases across the service and volunteered to practice and drill in their own time over a period of months.
