Ex Eastvale Peterbilt 320 HX-450 Amrep ASL 103853
Here we an almost 20 minute video of 103853. I’ve been searching for this unit and was my top priority truck since last year ever since it was transferred from Eastvale along with 103742. Ever since we got it, it was a spare at the time until now it became an assigned truck to Fausto on recyclables! He used to drive an ACX (106334) since 2019 when it was brand new.
Onto the truck, the sound of the engine was interesting. Haven’t seen those older clamp design since with our Mack’s and WXs we had, so it was nice seeing those again. It ran really nice and a nice operating pace and well maintained. Those big WM logos I’ve always like, but nothing on the tailgate, hopefully they’ll put something on it.
Overall I really like this truck from being a 2012 unit and it’s definitely one of my favorite trucks in the AV fleet. Definitely got the right amount of clips and on the very first clip was the first time filming Fausto in 103853 before he went back to the yard to dump. Hopefully you’ll enjoy this nice 320.

Great video Victor! Man AV just seems so slow lol, definitely not how it used to be. Anyway, cool seeing someone else film 924, definitely a very slow unit. And weird seeing a blank 320, I’ve only seen the blanks on LNG ACXs and 520s. Great video yet again man!
Thank you! Yea, most AV ASL trucks are getting slow, which I remember seeing them being fast. 924 is a cool unit, would’ve gotten more, but it was on its last route and it was slow. The blank 320 used to had a 2020 census sticker on it and peel the TGTC off too, makes it interesting a bit. Thanks again!

Been a lil while since you got to post lol. Great video! I really enjoy these 520 ZRs, they run super nice. And as you already know, I would absolutely love to see AV try one of these out. I like the carts out here to. I’ve seen a few of those lighter blue 60 gallon rehrigs around AV to. As I said, great video again man!

I don’t understand why they put that stupid sensor on those trucks that make you have to put the cart up to go more than 5mph or whatever the speed restriction is
Same here, I’m guessing they probably don’t want trash flying out into the hopper on that speed, so I guess they put those sensors on it

Super late comment lol. But I just keep watching videos of this truck. Brings back so much nostalgia. The thing that made me like this truck so much is when Ozzie reved there was this almost clacking sound idk what it is and idk if I’ll ever know what made that sound but I will always remember this truck.
No worries, you can comment on my videos anytime whether they’re old lol. Same here, these Mack’s do bring nostalgia. I remember, the first time filming this truck, I was shocked seeing this, when it was revving, operated fast and had a nice zip on the arm. That clacking sound could be either the u joints or a hydraulic leak, I’m not to sure, but definitely is one my favorite trucks too.

Nice catches. I got told that only one of these BBD trucks where running in the AV. Guess there is two. Cool you got the first catch of 106090. The cycle it’s a bit faster then 106091 which is cool. The driver also drove 107925 for a little. I filmed him in that to. Nice video.

@@victormoreno4953 NP! I saw at the yard they have like two or three more they are older and some need repair hopefully we will keep them for spares but idk what will happen. Also I actually filmed 090 just last week and a little bit before that. The first time frank was driving it in Lake LA helping out another dude. I’ll post this vids today or tomorrow. I also got our refurbished autocar on recycle it’s not a long video but it was so cool seeing that truck run fully.

Nice. The blue body and the yellow arm really go together. This truck also runs good. Always liked sidewinders there good trucks.
