I understand that lightweight is better, but I just find it really hard to believe that aluminum of the same size, can be as strong as steel of the same size. Yes I know that there are different grades and types of aluminum, but that's also true of steel. So is this sacrificing some strength and durability for weight reduction? Or am I wrong and they've somehow managed to match the strength and durability of steel with aluminum? (And again, I find it hard to believe.)
