Hello Coralie! ❤🌳🦄💕 Now that I’ve finished gluing my Summer digital images I can finally watch everyone’s videos woohoo! YES - I was definitely thinking of 80s Summer vibes with some of these pictures like the waterpark one. “So many images, I don’t know where to start” - that was me too! I had to sit and play around with them and contemplate for a long bit before things finally started to take shape and I began gluing. Love your pool party page, so fun! Going for a drive and getting an ice cream is the perfect way to spend the day. I grew up calling “flip-flops” thongs too. (My grandmother was an Aussie though so maybe that’s why?) They do sell candy bubbles here in the US so maybe you could check to see if that’s something that’s available for you to use with Chula? (I used to buy them for my cat who loved to pop the bubbles…haven’t tried them with Sophia yet though) 🐶🫧 We do have daylight savings, and when we “Fall back” it gets dark at 4:30 pm. People seem to not like it getting dark so early but to be honest I really look forward to more “cozy time”. ☺ Oooooh raspberry mint spritz - that’s EXACTLY my kind of drink!!! 😍 Thank you so much for playing along with us, I always look forward to seeing what you create! We are in the last throes of summer here, a couple more weeks of 80-degree temps, then beautiful fall arrives. Very excited about that. Ohhh yesss!!! When we lived on Marco Island, the biggest, nicest hotel would host a party for everyone on the island and it was a GRAND event. What memories you sharing yours brought back 🏝🎉💦👙🕶☀☀☀☀😎 Our digital "kits" were very different from each other's this time around, that's for certain. Mix tapes!! YES!! WE did some of the same things, I have a "perfect day at the lake" spread too. LOVE the glass of lake water spritzer!! That's fantastic 🍹 We have DST in the US too, but for two states I think observe the time change. In winter here it gets dark around 4-430 in the afternoon vs. 10-10:30 pm during lake season. SO GLAD you're playing along with us, I love this book. Stay tuned, Amy and I have a few more things up our sleeves and are discussing options for a possible UTSI 2.0, lol

Very nice glue book!! It was fun to watch you create the summer pages! Ker and Amy have the nicest images! Yes, we still have daylight savings. We should be "falling back" an hour in October. Less daylight soon. Thank you for sharing your great book!!

These are fantastic similar books to Edith Holden. I too am an addict for op shops and Edith Holden books are beautiful I love the writing in them. I found a few other places called (Dollar Word and they have some books) also (Savers Thrift Super stores) both these stores have branches in Sydney. They are massive warehouses; I saw them by accident when I was searching for Op shops. Thanks for showing these lovely books.

Oh my goodness oh my goodness, I just want to give you a hug. Yes I truly kn9w the feeling of loss, my problem is I tend to give more ofy heart to animals then I he people. I can't stand to go out of town because of separation from them. I'm so sorry. And I know that sentiment doesn't even put a dent in the feelings. You are in my heart.

I like the colors you have on the cover. I think what it’s missing is some definition. Maybe a black paint pen, to outline some of the rainbows and the hearts. Or a large focal image that is crisp. I love cheap art books for experimenting. I never feel like they are precious so I can really let go and do whatever I feel. Also - if you hadn’t said the tea leaves soaked through the preceding page I wouldn’t have questions that color at all. It looked good.

What an adorable shape journal. It's funny, I just pulled out my mushroom journal the other day and thought to work in it. Then I saw a squirrel and went on to something else. CONGRATS!!! On your forever home, that's fantastic news 🍾🥂🎉Shaped journals are so fun! The watering can is fabulous!! It's going to be great. The first one I saw was Janet Nash (heart, mushroom, tea cup I think), LOVED DDF's mushroom one (with all the rooms) GREAT idea to use the metal paper for a watering can. Yeah, the "fun sprays" are only mine in name, I got the idea from Noit Art. I didn't have good luck at all with watered down acrylic...Good for you for breaking out of your "color rut", always a good idea: try something different!!! What a fantastic project. 🐝YES!!!!!! I need that mailbox on the FRONT of my house! I love it! Makes me want to get OUT into my yard and plant more stuff.
