We are in the last throes of summer here, a couple more weeks of 80-degree temps, then beautiful fall arrives. Very excited about that. Ohhh yesss!!! When we lived on Marco Island, the biggest, nicest hotel would host a party for everyone on the island and it was a GRAND event. What memories you sharing yours brought back 🏝🎉💦👙🕶☀☀☀☀😎 Our digital "kits" were very different from each other's this time around, that's for certain. Mix tapes!! YES!! WE did some of the same things, I have a "perfect day at the lake" spread too. LOVE the glass of lake water spritzer!! That's fantastic 🍹 We have DST in the US too, but for two states I think observe the time change. In winter here it gets dark around 4-430 in the afternoon vs. 10-10:30 pm during lake season. SO GLAD you're playing along with us, I love this book. Stay tuned, Amy and I have a few more things up our sleeves and are discussing options for a possible UTSI 2.0, lol
Hello Coralie! ❤🌳🦄💕 Now that I’ve finished gluing my Summer digital images I can finally watch everyone’s videos woohoo! YES - I was definitely thinking of 80s Summer vibes with some of these pictures like the waterpark one. “So many images, I don’t know where to start” - that was me too! I had to sit and play around with them and contemplate for a long bit before things finally started to take shape and I began gluing. Love your pool party page, so fun! Going for a drive and getting an ice cream is the perfect way to spend the day. I grew up calling “flip-flops” thongs too. (My grandmother was an Aussie though so maybe that’s why?) They do sell candy bubbles here in the US so maybe you could check to see if that’s something that’s available for you to use with Chula? (I used to buy them for my cat who loved to pop the bubbles…haven’t tried them with Sophia yet though) 🐶🫧 We do have daylight savings, and when we “Fall back” it gets dark at 4:30 pm.
