I was shocked when I fired this up for the first time. I still am amazed by it. I'm playing 11 now, and it just makes me want to play 8 again.

This has for most of my life been perhaps my favourite game of all time, and i never knew that it was supposed to be a multiplayer game

I understand mega drive is generally considered classic, but I feel Sonic CD shouldve also been included because it was released before Sonic 3, and the Sega CD was basically an add-on to the mega drive.

I loved the game so much, I played when I was something like 10 years old and it stuck with me to this day, if we're on the nintendo ds topic, I highly recommend trying out : Solatorobo Red the Hunter ;)

IX deserves a remake or even just a re-release with online multiplayer soooooo badly!!

Just want to let you know this video sold me on this game and im painfully waiting for some sort of rerelease now. Bravely is my faviorite series of all time because of its focus on vibes so i know i will love this.

DQ9 is my favourite dq game, Its made enjoying some of the other dragon quests legitimately hard as its missing some of the things that DQ9 has, the Quality of the combat and min maxing of classes, the ludicrous amount of custom sprites for armour and weapons. I dont think that can be beaten, it would make remastering or remaking this game a big undertaking. The story is simple but not lacking, theres some real stand out moments, like meeting and fighting with Greygnarl

viii was not the first fully 3d dragon quest game. a remake of V was released earlier that same year in full 3d, which never came to the west, people seem to never mention it despite it being the first fully 3d mainline title.

Lava reef has always been my favorite zone. The music, the narrative weight, the visuals, the gameplay, the boss, its all amazing to me.

Even though 9 hasn't aged as well as the other DQ games, and definitely lacks a bit in the story and characters compared to the others, it's still one of my favorite games of all time, simply due to how influential it was for me. This was the game that really bolstered my love and passion for creative writing, roleplay, character creation, and storytelling. It was one of my first ever dives into the world of fanfic writing, and I would come up with all sorts of short stories about my party, such as having a winter celebration, rescuing Patty, Erinn, and Sellma from being kidnapped by monsters, and more. Even now I'm having a joy playing the game. Right now I'm doing 2 different challenge runs, one being a solo run and the other being a Fisticuffs-only run, and they've been pretty fun and challenging.

I’ve only ever played this solo. Besides Pokemon, it’s my favorite game on the DS.

I’ve only ever played offline and it’s one of my all time favorites in the series. Always thought it’d be neat to play online, but I enjoyed it enough as is that I’m not sure how much more I would have loved it just for that. That being said, before I realized that multiplayer was the root of the topic, I thought you might be talking about solo as in going through the whole game with only one character. And while it’s difficult at times, it’s definitely possible, and incredibly satisfying - especially when you get all the metal slime exp all to yourself.

I know we all have different opinions, but I was shocked to see Dead Things at #144. That is one of the best episodes of the entire series in my opinion. Season six is easily my favorite season of the show and this episode just so masterfully takes so many elements of the season and twists it into a dark dramatic episode. It's the first time we start seeing the The Trio (or at least Warren) as the real big bad of the season. Also fantastic acting by JM and SMG. The scene where Buffy tells Tara everything that is going on with her and Spike breaks my heart every time I see it. It's just so real.

DQIX is absolute my favorite! Loved the graphics, OST, character customization, job system, craft, post game content etc...My dream is a new DQ game or a remake of IX with the graphics of XI and the mechanics of IX (hero customization + change job + craft + online coop)

Coming from Denmark, I had the same experience getting this on my birthday as a young teen. This was the game that sucked dozens of hours of my time after school, and also properly taught me more advanced English, courtesy of the excellent script and voice acting that you mentioned. Love this game.

Sorry you lost me at at putting Spike near the bottom of the character list, but I appreciate your opinion which may be unpopular. Everyone has one unpopular Buffy opinion. Mine is Tara, loved by many, but I feel perhaps the most boring character ever. Her incessant bickering with Willow was just tiresome a lot of the time. Sorry, but she could never replace Oz, the philosophical, laid back, lead guitarist in an Indie Band, who also acquired Superpowers too.

Bad Eggs got my lowest rating on a recent rewatch where my wife and I reviewed and rated every episode. Edited to say: Actually, I think it was Beer Bad. Gotta consult my notes.

Skill isssue

Im a huge huge buffy fan. I watched it when it first aired, i was the perfect age of 12, so it fit my teenage angst years lol i even graduated high school when it ended, it felt like it was another part of growing up and letting go. I do not agree with seeing red or some of your choices but this is your list and your opinion. It's hard for me to pick my favorite episode. But season 5 and 3 are my top faves, i go back and forth. Buffy is my favorite character and easily one of the best written television characters of all time. Giles is my second favorite. My favorite comedy episode is band candy and living conditions. My favorite sad episode is the body. My favorite scary episode is helpless. My favorite epic episode is the gift. I could go on and on. Kudos to making this list. I know this must have taken an insane amount of work.

Normal again was not a "reveal" that Sunnydale was fake, it's an attempt at instilling doubt in the viewer, but it doesn't really work on many levels, most obviously by the existence of Angel as a show

DQ 9 was my first game of the series and I loved it. To this day it’s my favourite of the series. I loved creating my party and giving them a backstory myself. In my opinion it’s the most underrated game of the series and it holds up great.

Words can’t express my huge relief that Dopplegangland was at the top of this list, since I was growing concerned at no mention of Band Candy. My other favourites from this season are Anne, Earshot and Lovers Walk. Overall, though, I am not too keen on Season 3. Faith was too much ( although played very well ) and Angel hanging around Buffy was boring, so that I was glad when he left Sunnydale to star in his own series.

Hand scanners absolutely have existed for decades, and Xander is The Worst. But other than that, this was a blast to watch. Dawn and Harmony defense squad!

This game was fine solo, the story is alright. Having roaming monsters was kind of stupid though ESPECIALLY in dungeons there should have been a feature to turn that off.

I thought this was going to be a video about playing the game without recruiting party members, but continued to watch as I enjoyed the style - I’ve never understood the criticism about DQ9 being a watered down single player experience. It was the game to truly make me interested in playing games for the stories, the experiences, and it’s a game incredibly close to my heart.
