Smashing video. I went from stock to B14’s and indeed, it’s like a new car. My recommendation would be to have a go at fitting them yourself. You need a jack and a cheap high power rattle gun and it’s quite and easy job. Deffo something the home mechanic could have a go at, saving you a few hundred quid in labour, and gaining you some skills and new tools. Keep well and Happy Christmas.

I’m looking at an abarth at the moment can the turismo be mapped to same spec as yours?
The Turismo comes with an IHI turbo which you can push to top end around 190bhp safely, you would need to do a turbo conversion to the Garrett :)
Can you get the turismo to 195bhp?
You should be able to get 195bhp out of the IHI - add the induction kit and a good map! Depends on how many horses it has from the day you buy it
I’m interested in putting spacers on my essessse . Standard ride height on the koni shocks. The only thing that’s stopping me from fitting wheel spacers is the worry of stone chips. Anyone elaborate on this.?
I haven't found stone chips to be a problem with spacers. Definitely worth getting on the Essesse! I recommend 12 on the front 15 on the back.

Good channel. I have the noisy Forge system. Cut the inlet trumpet off, shortened the inlet pipe with a hacksaw, and reattached it inside the engine compartment. No noticeable effect on performance and no intake racket. 👍
does the comp not already have eibach springs stock? i have a stock 2019 comp ( bought new)and it have red eibach springs with the koni shocks.
It does! Just not 30mm lowered ones.

Awesome! To get consistent pops & bang you would need a pop&bang map. But bear in mind they can damage your engine life and after a while, it might get boring. If you're looking for a lively sound that you work for, then a back box delete! Bombardone, Direnza or a few others will do the trick :)

No, I only changed it on this because of the induction kit :)
I've exactly the same kit, and the noise inside the cabin is very annoying, especially when i drive it daily, however, the fun and power the car gives me makes up for that :)

Airtec mega heatsoaker 3000
I have an older 595 Competizione (2015), so no Garrett turbo unfortunately. It has 160HP stock, but I've had it mapped to 170HP. Not much, but the torque went from 230Nm to 300Nm. Dyno confirmed it. The torque increase feels crazy! And it's plenty fast for my daily

Road cars will always be a compromise, a lot of people couldn't live with a car that low. I don't think the height of the factory car is too bad at the front but the rear needs dropping 30mm to even out the stance. You will destroy a Maxton splitter with a car that low.

According to Abarth, the TTC simply applies braking pressure to whatever wheel is spinning/slipping.

how come all the lowering spring kits lower the car the same front and back when the back is higher to start with i think its annoying when when the back sits a bit higher than the front ..they should make kits that are 30mm rear 20mm front
Yer I found that as well, went for a Bilstein kit to get the desired effect in the end

Regarding exhaust just wire the flap open or on the later ones i believe you unplug the electric valve. I'm unconvinced on induction etc. for on the road I suspect their is more of a placebo effect unless you are literally pedal to the floor and speeding all the time. Has anyone checked the air temp at the standard inlet I would bet that ,when moving, it is not as high as you'd expect. I know I'm controversial 😂
Is the power with AIRTEC filter the same as FORGE ?
We found it to be pretty much the same! Any air filter that is upgraded from the stock helps

I have basically done everything you've done except the carbon which I'm not really a fan of, and the lowering of the seats,but my car is a US spec. and doesn't come with those seats. I don't know why you would change the wheel,I really thought they were aftermarket. They look really nice.

I have done everything to my 2012 Abarth that you've done, but in the US,and I'm thrilled and can't believe the acceleration and the stopping power. Had my Brembos on for over 7 years and never change pads. That's because I don't just stomp on my brakes,I pump them when ever I want to stop or slow down. I actually outran an Audi A3 the driver was shocked.

I ordered my 695 too late in 2022, actually 2 days before they stopped accepting orders for 22, so i was still lucky to get one in rally blue instead of orange, as i like green and blue colors more; but i was not only unlucky in that i couldn't get a 595 competizione in adrenalina green anymore, but also i couldn't get the competizione package any more as they stopped offering the lsd for my23. Good thing about this is that my22 without the competizione package came with the softer, cloth covered gt version of the sabelt seats, wich you have too, whereas the competizione package has the leatherette race version of those seats; but now i don't have a factory lsd and i will have to get an aftermarket one at some point. I read into this before ordering the car and i know that the ttc is basically a worse performing replacement of a locking diff, as it uses the breaks to emulate the function. But so far i haven't used it, because i am a bit stressed about the idea of wearing down my breaks quicker and unevenly, as they have to effectively fight the engine on the inner tire, while going around the corner. But at high speed (around 150-200 km/h on unrestricted parts of the german highway) i do most definitely feel the car understeering. A friend of mine who drove it, who didn't have any prior exprerience with high performance versions of wrong wheel drive cars, was also caught a bit by surprise, as he had to steer harder on the bend when he accelerated to about 150 km/h. This year, now that i finally got the car after 14 months of waiting from the date of order to the delivery, i plan to go out on tourist drives on the nordschleife. While i am a beginner and i won't be pushing it anyway and go way too slow on my first laps, i still feel a bit nervous about the understeer; but i'm also a bit afraid of voiding the warranty on a brand new car, by getting an aftermarket diff installed. After a couple of laps i want to try one with ttc on to sse the difference, but i do feel uneasy about the idea of over wearing and most importantly overheating the front breaks.
Just be careful with the TTC, as I mentioned in my experience, at high speeds, it can just stop working which gives you a very fast amount of understeer in a scary moment! It's great for gripping roundabouts and hard corners at lower speeds.
