I have a Forge kit and absolutely love it and the noise. AR Autos have recently done a remap on my Abarth too. The whoosh and turbo flutter give me the biggest smile and make me giggle every time it happens. I am like a kid at christmas every time i drive my car, but obviously everyone's opinions are different. I know a few people that have had a Forge kit and hate the noise it makes.
I’d be interested to see what performance difference there would be using a BMC filter with a cold air pipe and whether that would be any different to the the Forge. Great video btw and I look forward to more with your project car.
I appreciate the honesty. I will definitely not get the Forge Induction kit for my Abarth then. I have a 2019 595 T-jet and I use it as a daily. I've got BMC filter and blow-off valve and it's also de-catted with down-pipe. That "hoover" noise will definitely annoy me. I already love the noises it makes with blow-off etc. Usually drive it in normal mode where the throttle mapping is less aggressive. Only use sport mode for those "special" moments. All I need now is a stage 1 remap tune and I'll stop there. Would rather buy the comp next. Great video thanks!
the high pitch whining sound is the reason I haven't got it yet. It is only happenning on this garret turbo though. There is a way to reduce the noise but adding soundproof material around the scuttle.
I've exactly the same kit, and the noise inside the cabin is very annoying, especially when i drive it daily, however, the fun and power the car gives me makes up for that :)
Usually the noise comes from accelerating and lifting off the throttle around 3500rpm, rather than changing gear at this point let the revs hang@@connorleonfr8396
how come all the lowering spring kits lower the car the same front and back when the back is higher to start with i think its annoying when when the back sits a bit higher than the front ..they should make kits that are 30mm rear 20mm front
Test drove one with the forge induction and it p*ssed me off hearing it every gear change and hisses when your moving. Decided not to buy the car for that reason.

Fitting mine tomorrow. Can’t wait!
Really good honest review and will definitely be contacting AR Autos to discuss upgrades to my own Abarth.
Excellent honest review much appreciated 👍

Got it installed today and a remap to 225 HP, the turbo flutter is so silly I absolutely love it!
It's great fun! Enjoy!

Thats awesome, the remap would change the game for performance! Especially with the IHI Turbo!
I have one on my car and love it.I play my music loud,so many times I don't even hear it.

Yer I dealt with it for a long time, it was definitely worth it
Love my forge, got 20hp more along with an ecu map.
I fitted mine today and have no flutter noise? Makes the whistling noise slightly and ghe air fump noise but no flutter
Have you got he IHI Turbo rather than the Garrett?
@arautos3165 no I have the 180 competizione

Which filter did you go for with the Forge kit? Foam or pleated? Just wondering if there is a difference to the noise?
For the Forge is was the Carbon
is the any risk using the car on heavy rain? i mean if water could get through the vents below the windshield? only heavy rain
I've never heard of an issue with the rain! If the air filter Is fitted correctly, you shouldn't have an issue :)

Yer I found that as well, went for a Bilstein kit to get the desired effect in the end

You can change them out for a relatively low cost! As you can tell from more recent videos, I did exactly that haha
