Will this work on a 2023 frontier 4x4

I'm now on my second Xterra. My first one got the dreaded clogged cats around 225k miles. I hollowed them out and drove it another 30k miles until the engine decided to blow. Now I have another x with 160k miles. The cats clogged a couple days ago 2 miles away from my destination. I had it towed back home and plan on gutting those bastards tomorrow. Seems to be a common problem. Sure wish I knew what was causing it.

So what should I do to extend my front brake lines?

Drives me nuts as with my 2006 dodge sprinter I never can remember where they hide the steering angle sensor calibration… after 8 hours I managed to find it a few days ago but the other computers decided to reject the new steering angle sensor so I am just trying to go back but I can’t remember where I was to find the steering angle sensor calibration option as it isn’t in the spot where it should be the ESP “Electronic stability program” so dumb that whoever programed my autel maxiM IM508S was not very organized

What about brakes and struts from a Titan?

I see the Zaku II shirt you got there. There are a ton of forums out there if you look hard enough on the internet. If you upgrade from the VQ40 to the VK56, you gain over 100 torque. Harrop makes a supercharger that is safe for a stock VK56 in addition to being authorized for use for all 50 states. The Armada and Titan use the same chassis frame for the Xterra and Frontier if it's second gen. The only difference is that the Armada has rear individual suspension.

I know this video is not new but I just bought this one today and a serious question, how good is this for a DIY person? I’m not a professional but I do work on multiple cars here and there and just wondering how well this will serve me. Thank you for reply in advance.

I did the swap and I put stock coil overs with a spacer and it dropped my front almost to my wheel wells you need the bigger shocks

What year and mileage was your frontier?

Can I used my six speed manual transmission 07 Xterra with the Titan VK56?

Does the frontier trans bolt to the titan motor? I've been told it does. I have the 4.0 v6 frontier, and it's a 6 speed. Year is 2015, and I wanna put a titan engine in after my v6 dies and still keep the manual trans and 4x4. Any insight would be appreciated

Im getting worse mpg than that mpg with the 4.0 and titan swap, with 285/75's 33's. For instance my drives from ND down to the southern plains to chase storms (not including chase days because that is a lot of idling and hard accleration) is about 12.8 mpg at 65-70. That is approx what Im getting up here on the highway as well.

I don't see the sway bar? Is there a way?

Did it end up being the catalytic? also which ones did you replace? my 08 pathfinder is doing the exact same thing, i changed the spark plugs and cleaned the injectors and the problem persists. thinking of cats next

If I already have a lift kit (coilover), could I just run that without the spacer?

Hey, quick question. Where can I find a locking rear differential for a reasonable price. I was given a rebuilt R-180 with the 3.36 gear ratio but can’t find a decent price on the locking rear differential. I know I could change out the ring & pinion. But would rear like to have the locker

So for my 11 frontier I can buy 11 Titan arms and rods then put my +2 struts in? With the QX axles of course.

Hi Andy, great info. I just Vk swapped my Frontier, I still have my Vk Pathfinder donor. If I wanna upgrade the brakes on my frontier, I can use both the front and rear calipers and rotors off the pathfinder correct?

I’m running pathfinder LE brakes with 16 inch sv wheels. 1.5 inch wheel spacer and a little bit of material removal on the pathfinder caliper.

What brake hose do I need to purchase?

If Titan swapped up front would it make sense to do a Titan rear end swap to keep the lug pattern the same front and rear?

So I really want t to do this to my 2016 frontier desert runner. One question is that I also want to put leveling spacers on to give me a 2” additional lift. Is that possible? I’d like a 6” suspension lift, with the 4” Titan swap. Could I get longer radflow shocks that would help me achieve this?

Andy, I did a VK56 swap on my 2wd 05 Pathfinder and the gas mileage improved quite a bit. With the 2wd R51 having a 3.133 rear axle ratio, the VK purrs at barely 3K rpm at 100 mph. I seriously get about 26 mpg on the highway, whereas the VQ40 could manage about 23 mpg if I kept it under 70 mph. I don't expect that anyone doing the VK swap on a 4wd will share my experience with gas mileage.

The lack of change in these trucks over the years and how it's all compatible amazes me too.

So with this budget T-swap I could use stock frontier coilovers with a 2-2.5 in spacer and some adjustable cam bolts and be somewhat aligned/ lifted? I would do it for science, but atm it is my daily 😂
