A big CONGRATULATIONS to Roland Bendel for his AMRCA record breaking World Class 10cc. record run earlier today at the NY Tether Track in Seaford, NY. His 8 lap record speed was 209.490 mph. (337.142 KmH) (5.339 sec.).

8-4-19 Today at the NY AMRCA Tether Track our second converted Vector (E-4 to E-3) electric tether car turned a few laps at 212 mph., which is 5 mph. faster than the other one that we ran last week. We will analyze the recorded data, and see if there is any more speed to be had !!

7/28/19 Today at the NY AMRCA Tether Track we ran the first run on our recently converted E-3 class electric tether car. This car was built as an E-4 class car, and ran 222.4 mph, and now modified with less power (to meet class specs.), turned laps at 207 mph.

6/30/19 This is a case of drawing more than 290 amps from the speed controller, and causing it to shut down
Good old boy !!

6/30/19 Today, at the New York AMRCA Tether Track the original Vector E-4 (built 6 years ago) edged out the newer design CF by turning 8 timed laps at an average speed of 222.5 mph. This is now the fastest one of these cars has run !!

6-23-19 Just when we thought we were reaching the upper limits of the new Vector CF, it showed us we were wrong be adding 6 mph. to the fastest laps it had ever turned. Here it puts together 8 timed laps at an average speed of 222.27 mph (357.711 k/h). Is there any more left ???

Vector E4-CF - New design, first look

This is the first test run of the new design Vector E4-CF "light weight" electric tether car. This car weighs the same as a 10cc gas tether car due to it's carbon fiber top, and underbelly. There is no cast aluminum pan. The speed of this run was 214.646, but we called it a little too soon. More to come !!!
Vector Electric tether car -- unofficially the World's fastest !!

6-1-2019 Today, at the NY AMRCA tether track the Vector ran 8 laps at an average speed of over 215 mph. This run was on a heavier cable than 10cc gas cars run on due to the extra weight. We also ran the first test of the new "light weight" Vector E4-CF, at an 8 lap average over 214 mph. Thanks to the NY crew for their help today !! It was a successful day !!

Description 5/19/19 Seaford, NY. After a long delay, and with a lot of help from Kent, Ohio physicist, Will Hubin, The Vector electric tether car is back on the AMRCA tether track. This is the first test of the newly developed electronic throttle control designed, and built by Will. Now we can get back to the task of making the car FAST !! Thank you Will, Nick, Doug, and the NY crew for all you...
There's faster rc cars.
You need a bigger track
Lotta work for something you shoulda been done with at age 13
Looks like you could tangled up pretty easy if you weren’t paying close attention.
This would be great for Figure 8 racing. ;)
I ain’t impressed I do this in my neighborhood in a moded vett the neighbors love me 😂😂😂😂🤣🤣
Hey somebody give a good guess of "scale miles per hour" that thing is going. I say it's like a 1/12th scale car so it's doing over 1000 "scale mph" !!!!
Seems like getting that cord wrapped around your leg during the start would result in a rough day.
Ah,…who cares?
Pretty pointless. Even the video is boring.
Just to give some perspective of the speed, the top speed measured was 216 mph, Formula 1 race cars have top speeds over 220 mph. Both are amazing.
Me on the M25 with my 125 as soon as I pass my CBT
What a tremendous waste of resources.
I used to drive one of these to work on the 91 freeway. The Highway Patrol could never catch me. The End.
Worlds tether ball champion.
This reminds me of watching my older brothers flying a cox engine airplane on a wire while going in circles. 😂😂
Wth
Silly ass way to amuse oneself!
Ain’t noneya
You know what is said about opinions !
What tires do they use?
Goodyear
I was watching kayaking vids. This came on. WTF ? Kayak for sale.
What wheels and tyres you using ?
sorry. i’m not smart enough to understand this video. not enough information.
adults playing with toys
Little car on a rope goes real fast on circular track. Some people's kids, man.
White folks always the first to be on some ole bullshit.
Damn if the person felt lightheaded or something happened to them, it got me all nervous about the falling on a tiny platform.
Run starts at 0:50
Gutsy stuff
Do that at nights with some cool LEDs on the car and track❤
The tyres would be hot 🔥
Im so confused about how these cars are able to go at that speed and yet have gas or electric motors that dont support those speeds. Someone help!
Would gas powered go that fast ? A .60 delivers 1 hp..
Killer pass congrats
Nothing is funnier than the stuff you read in the UA-cam comment section 😂😂😂
If that cable snaps, you've got yourself a 217mph tank buster.
Where and how do i get into this
Detach from the ground. Add magnetics, a Ridgid center platform and blades where the lead is and you have a flying saucer.
Why does it says "darling"
How it stop?
Why is this man standing at the centre of the loop ? Any Reasons ?
Worse pole dance ever.
You have topped the pet rock
Congratulations you have built and spent a lot of money on something entirely Useless
I'm looking at that tether, and thinking it's probably a well greased bearing.. but imagine if the tether was attached the pole, but in a sealed environment, and compressed air pumped in allowed the tether to spin, but in a frictionless environment. Think of an air hockey puck. How much faster would it be able to go?
신기합니다
Very cool, just one objective, go as fast as you can within the designated car weight limit.
Big hand for the person who built that pedestal there is to stand on.
Need to be fuel
It would be more interesting if gas powered
That rope would slice someone in half if they fell.
has anyone had there leg stuck in the tether ?
That actually sounded like a sniper bullet passing over your head 1:08
