You never took off the propeller! What if there is fishing line tangled in there? What about greasing the propeller shaft?

Using the Mercury special lubricant 101 is standard Yamaha maintenance?

Awesome Video... I paid $310.00 for my 1st 100-hour service on my Merc 4S 150. I'm 15 hours from my next and I believe I'm going to follow your tips, along with the manufacturer's recommendations. You didn't show it here, but are there torque tensions for the bolts and prop lug?

Good video, very helpful. I have never seen a torque spec that was without lube. You're not doing it wrong by adding lube, you're doing it right. And not to be picky, you are working with the key. The keyway is the groove in the shaft and impeller.

When draining gear oil tilt up engine so drain is the lowest point.

My fishing buddies are going to help and I owe them fishing trips to the Coronado Islands in Mexico for yellowtail. We will watch your video before the work.

I know it’s been a while but what’s the deal with these boats? The hull design looks like it’s a tank and would cut through the waves better than any boat but you don’t really hear about them. Would you say it’s the best riding boat? Or does the hull look just trick you?

I just installed this on a Kubota RTV for installation of a GMRS radio and rear work lights. Only thing I would add, make sure you have a 30 to 40 amp fuse on the hot wire from the battery, which should be 12 ga wire to the fuse panel as well, I got the resettable version which also has is a disconnect if needed. Also, add shrink wrap to all your connections.

One of my sister's friends brought a car to me with brakes like this. She said that she kept telling her BF that there was something wrong with her brakes, but he just kept ignoring her, so she brought the car to me. He got so pissed off when he found out what she did that he and another guy came to my house and were ready to fight me. Once those guys saw the rotors, they left, it was ridiculous. Chevy guys are the absolute worst human beings on Earth.
