Hit Film Composite Shot Importer for DAZ Studio
Переглядів 2 тис.2 роки тому
This utility will import video camera motion data filmed using the iOS CamTrackAR app, and automatically recreate the 3D scene with tracking camera in DAZ Studio. This allows you to relatively easily add your own 3D elements into 2D video and have them looking like they were part of the original shot. This utility will be made available in our Daz store in the near future...

Modeling a Cartoon Crab in LightWave 10
Initially ground breaking, but now it's really disappointing. This addon doesn't work any longer, unfortunately
Hi, I have a number of trees that have leaf cutouts - when I use your product they come the transparency doesn't work so they just look like square planes in the depth map. Is there any way around this?
Also, whenever I exit the script, Daz Studio crashes.
Wow! Thanks a lot! It's incredible!
Mocha Pro software can also generate a .hfcs file. Are there any plans to add in support for that? It would be HUGE to be able to use Hollywood standard planar tracking in Daz.
Can this be used to import tracking data generated with HitFilm Pro's own Foundry Point Tracking system?
Would you please demonstrate a BiCyle ride animation using Limberstick ?
That looks like it would be handy working with DForce clothing
Why does my animation still juggle around as if it isn't tracking properly? I followed the video tutorial exactly. I have the free version of camtrack AR.
Does it work ONLY with timeline? I hate to use the timeline, because sometimes does objects create keys there even without my OK, I have from "Mccasual" a timeline delete script but even that doesn't work always. I really don't enjoy using the timeline because of the random keys, that's why I hate to create animations even if my fans would love to see my scenes in movement :/
I'm someone who is VERY critical/pessimism, so feel honored about this: Your trailer looks really nice and well made! Good job!
Fantastic tutorial and product! Thanks so much!!
Question: Can you use the vertices created for the curve to change the animation position?
How do you run the scripted on Windows?
Can I use this for static posing as well? Example: Dog, leash, Genesis holding the leash, you move the dog and the end of the leash stays at Genesis' hand?
I purchased for Genesis 9 and it is throwing errors and does not load the interface.
You might want to put a link here to a PDF that explains what the script does and does not do. This is an extrapolation that needs to be run each time you change the REQUIRED base animation. It does a frame by frame re interpolation of the positions associated with foot or hand friction on a surface etc.
Thank you! I tried so many "tricks" but finally this one is working as it should.
Great and usefull toolI! I haven't bought the G9 version yet but I hope to get it soon! Though, be carefull with this tool, It has a serious bug, if you use it with any of the expression dials (included in daz studio or not) (i.e rage, pain, etc) it will "over bake(rig?)" the expressions to the character's face, distorting it and making it impossible to dial it back, I mean, you can dial the expressions back but the face will stiil be distorted, so, you'll have to restore the face pose back to zero and re apply, So, here's a usefull tip, 1.- Extract the pose, 2.- Save the pose except the expressions, 3.- Undo the extraction, 4.- Apply the saved pose. Done! Also I found another bug where my model end up with the belly in the floor and the foot up to her head but I can't replicate it, I guess it could have something to do with smoth modifier or something like that but it dooesn't explain the leg up. Hope you fix it! Also I noticed it doesn't work with face bones, like, Brown Compression, Eyes Open, Thonge Out, etc, is there an Expression Architect out there?
Well done! This will save so much time ( and aggrivation :P )
Tutorial please
Would it be possible to do a 360% camera view HitFilm as it looks like a good Utility.
Helps in many cases but it's not at all useful in others. Try to animate a figure doing pullups, using LimbStick to keep their hands on the bar and you'll see what I mean: it makes very bad and unnatural choices about how to bend the arms. And there doesn't seem to be a solution. Would be great if it could take start-frame AND end-frame joint positions and simply interpolate between them while keeping hands or feet attached to the target.
Are you going to update this magnificent add-on toolset for Gen 9?
Hi, could you tell me what does body 2 hip do it's included in your Animation Tools - Set 1
Body 2 hip gets bugs.
Do you know if there is a good way to make motion paths? I really want to Anime a snake in daz with S curves and slithering
Hey, Do you plan to update this for Gen 9? I have tried it, but it's probably not recognizing the Gen 9 skeleton.
Would you happen to have plans for adapting this to a specified mesh instead of the floor plane, allowing the same functionality over, perhaps,a rough terrain?
I missed that you should set 30 fps in CamTrack AR app (60 by default). Not sure it was mentioned in video. Took me eternity before I found where is my problem.
This looks amazing! On my list of must-haves. Congrats on this.
With the free version of CamTrack AR app can it work?
No shadow casting, bummer.
You forgot to make a video to show how BODY2Hip works.
Any estimate as to when this is going to be released?
It's out now at Daz3D: www.daz3d.com/camera-tracking-importer-for-daz-studio--hitfilm-composite-shot
Q: Could this be used to composite props to a person rather than the environment?
Hi, Sorry disturbing ... In the video, and the short version as well, I can see G8M walking on a ground, for example, with the hands sticking a Vault, carried by four of ZEM ;) ... Does ZE tool, at ZE same time, allow to "FOLLOW ZE ground" plane for feet joints positions ? I'd like to know if I could use your TERRIFIC tool to align feet position when adding a walking animation to a speaking G8M, for example, for the practical case I need to work on, for now ? please ... Very cordially, ^AMZ, TYVM ! PS : is it better to catch the "Glue To Floor Utility" for G8F ? It could, maybe, be used with G8M ? feet are nearby same process to be taken by calculation process, if there is no F/M limitation ?! Can you help me in this decision making, please ? Sorry again ...
I need this yesterday!!!
Very awesome, complete tutorial! clearly shows multiple usages for various situations. One of the best tutorial vids I've come across.
Nice!
So, we move the body, then run the script? Interesting. I look forward to trying.
any chance to make both legs glue to floor?
I can't get this product to work. Are there some limitations we need to be aware of? I've got a character kneeling that I'm trying to move the upper body. On another character I tried to put hands on the floor and move the rest of the body. For both animations the hands and feet just moved all over the place as if there were no script, even though the script message told me it was successful.
this is really cool
How does the script know to rotate joints to avoid collision? Like for fingers not to sink into the thighs? Is that behavior to be expected to work all the time? Saying goodbye to IK chains is like a dream come true.
