Can a student take only one of these two and stick with that, allowing the student to focus on other aspects of the instrument, or is it really important/essential to master both? Very nicely explained, Yogeshji. I have been practicing it and getting immensely benefitted in easy movement of two fingers for tete n three fingers for tirekete. The use of kre in fantastic in giving a sweet twist in the kaida. I am nearing 60 n a professional banker. I get immense satisfaction when I practice Tabla. Learning music has no age bar. 🙏🙏
