Yerevan, Armenia 🇦🇲 here. GREAT vlog/video!❤ Love it! One question, I was in Bridgeport train station but could never understand HOW you know where to walk to catch train to NYC on the platforms? Confusing…..I missed my train to NYC and Amtrak to New Haven/Boston. Please help.

I'm in Atlantic City, but our family's restaurant was on North Benson Road and Fairfield Ave. Haven't taken Metro North in years but I always found it way faster to get off at 125 and hop on the subway.

That would be so nice and convenient to be able to hop on a train and ride into the city at any time and not have to drive. There are things about the north that I am envious of.

I believe our paths crossed many times. Graduated THS in 87. Went to Center, Daniels Farm, Hillcrest too. Swam at Twin Brooks and went to Trumbull Congregational Church across from Grand Union. Thank you for putting this together. Having grown up in Trumbull and being Nostalgic, this was nice to see. I moved 20 years ago, still have family in the area, but don't get back much. Love the Kimberly Inn mention. is Hillendale still around?

it’s a convenient airport. no need to travel to boston or n y. many areas have been improved such as the rental garages . no need to take a bus from the rent lots. air lingus is operating out of bradley again.

I spent almost every September 07 til September 21 - part of summer in New Haven, at 6** Orange Street, between 1985 and 2008 and your 'out of this world' video brought tears to my eyes, because watching every single scene in it brings back the priceless memories of my many visits to this fabulous city. I clearly remember the sadness I felt every time, the night before I was flying back to Amsterdam (in the Netherlands, where I live) and how I made leaving New Haven easier, by making plans for coming back the next year, during my ride in the Ct Limo from Long Wharf to JFK; And I always stuck to my plans and came back, every year ! Unfortunately my friends from Orange Street passed away and there's one last trip to make, in order to be able to visit my late friends graves and pay them my respect at the All Saints Cemetry in North Haven. Thank you so much, Jennifer Sparks, for having posted this wonderful video on UA-cam! Bless you !!!

I am working with an amazing realtor but she is limited on what she can advise. I am considering Shelton, Seymour, Naugatuck, Stratford, Brookfield. The entire town becomes in effect a publicly funded racetrack on Summer weekends. Flooded with super loud bikes and hot rods. Speed limits, what’s that? I’ve lived in EH for almost 40 years and I can tell you with zero equivocation that it’s not a quiet country town. The police and politicians couldn’t care less. Be careful driving and beware of the nut bags.

Loved this. I was supposed to go to Edison School which was where the Police Station currently stands. I have never seen the inside of that building but would love pictures if anyone has any. I can explain why Middlebrook doesn't look like the other elementary schools. Keep in mind that Frenchtown didn't exist at that time back in the 70's and 80's. Middlebrook was originally the Junior High. I went to Middlebrook instead of Edison so I am familiar with the layout. Madison, now Madison Middle School, was the original Trumbull High School. Trumbull High opened in 1972. My class was the 10th class to graduate there. When I went to THS, it was 10-12 because 7-9 were at the Jr. High as that was the model at that time. All elementaries were K-6. Also, at Madison, I was there when they had the fire that took out the administrative wing. Facing the front of the building, go to the left side of the building and you will see a large scorch mark in the brick from that fire. I also learned to drive in Madison's parking lot with my late father. I no longer live in Trumbull but thanks for sharing this.
