I watched TV one day and they said the #1 pizza place is in New Haven called Pepe's Pizza. Have you been there.? I haven't, but people I know rave about it that live there. I currently live in Portsmouth, VA., but I grew up in Trumbull, CT.
I grew up in Trumbull too! Yes I have been to Pepe’s before but the one in Fairfield and Mohegan sun casino. Sally’s and modern pizza are very popular in New Haven as well! I will have to do a pizza video tour soon lol 😂
That would be cool, I remember Mario The Baker in Bridgeport, is that still open? I heard Captains Pizza closed. My favorite back in the 70s was Yesterdays Pizza, I know it's closed.
As someone contemplating a move to Connecticut, I can't tell you how helpful all of your videos are. In your travels around the state, is there a community you thought would be the best for young families? We're remote workers, but would like to be within 30-45 minutes of city-like amenities.
Thank you so much! I’m so glad to hear my tours are helpful! I raised my children when they were young in Seymour and I loved it! The joke was always tho that you “see less in See more” lol but that’s what I liked about it. It’s close to route 8 which made it accessible to everywhere with everything. The town itself was small with good spirit. I miss it I’m in Shelton now. Better taxes but it’s a medical town with 3000 drs offices and nail salons and chain hotels. I personally grew up in Trumbull another popular town for families the schools are rated very high a lot of town parks/ schools etc. I have a video about Trumbull and think 2 about Seymour downtown historic district and French memorial park
❤❤love Claire’s veg restaurant. Amazing supporter of all things community. Food is made from scratch with organic local ingredients. The love ❤️ is palpable. Pistachios has Turkish coffee. Cool.
Looks Awesome, now Lisa has a new place to Go check Out....
I've been to the Whalley Ave location many times

My daughter Skye has brought me there before! Loved it! I will have to add it to a video! Thank you for the recommendation 😊
You missed a lot in this video.
Oh most definitely! I was only there a short time
