      I disagree. There are several doctors and facilities. Also there and more and more opening up all the time. Now specialty medical needs or high trauma care will need to be seen in the Phoenix Valley. Thanks for watching.

      @@livinginprescott Uh NO! Apparently you don't speak with the population at large or read Nextdoor. Already many posting they are having to move to Phoenix for care. I already drive nearly every month for care and absolutely no one wants to take their life in their hands and have surgery here. That is just one of many, many issues with this area. You can keep JClub, it's a bust. Open to the public but the residents pay for the upkeep. Touted to be better than Prescott Lakes. I'm still laughing about that one. Design must have been done while drunk (other than architecture) but architecture doesn't mean a lot except as a selling feature. I could go on and on and happy to to anyone not wanting to make a big mistake.

    HOA’s are a disease, they serve the builder initially selling the homes. This idea that a HOA can foreclose without any judicial review and take the entire proceeds of the sale is a criminal act. In AZ there must legislation that enables single family home owners to withdraw from HOA’s. HOA membership should be voluntary. Not mandatory. Amenities are usually tiny and superficial in nature.

    • @livinginprescott
      @livinginprescott 19 днів тому

      I agree with you. I think it is severe over reach in some regard. Some HOAs CC&RS have language written in that the homeowner may withdraw however not all and of those that have that clause it typically isn’t allowed until several years after it’s creation. Thanks for watching.

My house design includes a three-car garage and RV garage so the lot size really should be an acre or more. I prefer to have a hill so the house design can allow for a walkout basement. All HOAs in single family communities need to be disbanded. All property management companies that manage for HOAs in single family communities should be fired. There's no need for HOAs. There are single family communities that have been in existence for decades and perhaps centuries that are beautiful, and desirable places to live. HOAs were originally created for segregation. Properties in none HOA communities sell for more. State law actually overrules HOA rules.

    Would you please explain what you meant in your segment on car registration? I was shocked by your statement that you could pay up to $1000 for a new but "nothing fancy" car. Is car registration calculated differently per county or per city? I know someone in the Phoenix area who bought a new Honda Pilot in 2016, and his car registration was around $500 for the first year. Thanks.

    • @livinginprescott
      @livinginprescott Місяць тому

      Yes, all registration is based in year and value of a vehicle. I believe it’s a state calculated charge. Therefor you can drive a 2020 full size 1 ton truck and still pay $800+ for registration. Or you can drive a 2002 canary let’s say and only pay $40 a year. So in my personal opinion it’s pricey. The newer and more expensive the vehicle the more expensive the registration. It decreases as the car ages.

    They are correct. Please don't move to this wonderful little place called Prescott, Prescott Valley, Humboldt, or Dewey. We have too many people and not enough housing or amenities to cater to the massive influx of people, which is a bad thing as the rush creates problems for everyone. Our town used to be beautiful and quaint before the realtors and remote working became popular along with the plandemic and that's when they started advertising our small towns on UA-cam like an auction to destroy the suburban life and pushing all of us local, born and raised Arizonans, Prescottonians, and the rest of small town Americans out of our small towns which has been the crooked liberaldestruction of our once great Republic. If you don't understand yet, these two were being facetious, not "sarcastic," like they claim, but just like these two, ignorance has become more prevalent in our country in recent years. This is just another example of a way our liberal lunatics are trying to destroy our great Constitutional Republic by invading the smaller more peaceful towns promoting people stop paying attention to their lives, their communities, their local government and the people who are invading it and attempting to destroy our society by promoting more ignorant distractions that do nothing but drain your bank accounts, your attention, and your energy. Things like football or any professional sports. Movies or any other distractions that give you a false sense of fulfillment and really only steal your life and money and give it over to the machine when you could be using your resources to better your lives, your family's, and your community. Don't fall for this bullshit.

      We have seen a slight cool off especially on homes that were overpriced to begin with. Sellers are negotiating in most cases with all of that being said if the home is priced well, in a good location and is in good shape it will sell quickly.

    not in a subdivision, we'd a very open floor plan a minimum from 1 to 2 acres with trees three bedrooms we would like to raise chickens and rabbits. We have six dogs a place to park a boat garage workshop no HOA

      I would highly suggest Coyote Springs, Poquito Valley, Chino Valley and Paulden for areas without the HOA and with large enough lots. If we can be of help reach out we would love to help. Thanks for watching!

    House prices seem really high. I saw a 2 bed, 1 bath for over 500k. Median pricing seems to be 700k+. Maybe it is just the current economy or the CA rush.

      Or a combination of both. The pricing also depends on location. Prescott proper is always more expensive than surrounding areas.
