Good to see someone enjoying his bike. I love these Kona's, they are really strong (go to 135kg, compared to 110kg with cube or giant etc.), and they look really cool. Keep up the vids.
This trail was my first mountain bike experience ever in 2018.....being from the Chicago area we really can't say we "mountain bike" more like big hills. Ironically enough I rented a Kona Kahuna from the fine people at 2nd Ave Sports in downtown Durango. Some sections were a bit too techy for a rookie, but the ride down was a blast. Was recommended Horse Gulch trail system which I am planning a trip back soon to ride again. Thanks for the video and bringing back some good memories. Durango Colorado is wonderful!
That’s awesome glad you enjoyed the video! Horse Gulch was my go to since there are so many trail options to choose from out there, you just need to get up that first grueling climb!

Mikey Wold awesome! I ordered it off of Amazon, it’s called Sportlink. I apparently miss read it when I ordered it though. I have an iPhone 11 plus and it’s for an 11. It comes with a case and would not fit my phone so I tried to modify it but it hasn’t worked out.
This title is a little misleading. You didn't actually do the Animas mtn trail which takes you up and down Animas City Mtn. These are just the trails on the side of the hill. Sailing Hawks is still a tough ride but nothing like riding the whole mtn.

How did you find kona bikes?
I like them a lot. I put mine through quite a bit of abuse and it held up well.
