Tricer LP… The best light weight Pan-head?
The all new Tricer Lp pan-head. At just 4.5 oz I am thoroughly surprised with the quality and function of this head. You can tell it was designed by hunters for hunters. Quality piece of kit at an affordable price!

Amazon All Top Awning. Initial setup and thoughts on 1st Gen Sequoia.
Переглядів 11 тис.2 роки тому
Great addition to the Sequoia. Time will tell how well it will perform and hold up to weather but my first thoughts are that it is pretty good quality for the $! ALL-TOP Vehicle Awning 6.6'x8.2' Rooftop Pull-Out Retractable 4x4 Weather-Proof UV50 Side Awning for SUV/Truck/Van a.co/d/hpHVBUe
Springbar Highline 6 initial thoughts/overview. Worth it over the American made Classic Jack 100?

My initial thoughts and first pitch of the Springbar Highline 6. Very good tent for car camping! Worth the extra $ over a dome style rip stop nylon double wall tent! Built to last!

I purchased this sequoia in January 2022 and am loving it. If you want a Toyota 4x4 SUV but want more space than a 4Runner consider the Sequoia.

1 Safariland ALS holster for both Glock 19 and Glock 17 W/streamlight tlr1
Переглядів 23 тис.3 роки тому
A little long winded but… you can buy just one Safariland als holster for both Glock 19 and 17 with a stream light tlr1 series light. Sorry I Couldn’t find the name of the company making the different size barrel plugs. Just google it.
Can this fit a Glock 19x also ?
Thanks for the review. I am waiting on delivery of my All Top 10' x 8' 2" awning and Wasatch Overland brackets for my Econoline van. Will have this set up and ready to go for my holiday travels this year. Looks like a great addition!
That dealership is soooo overpriced$$$$$. Seems like they add another $10K on top of their cost to build just as a standard mark up.
What color is that?
@@joewyo I believe it’s called muskeg
I have a 2012 Toyota Sienna and I also have a Thule on top. Hope it works
Thanks for the Video. How does the size work out for you and the family... would you reconsider 8ft wide? Also whats your Tires size?
Best hunting pants out there. I use these for upland in CA.
Is they a lifted or levling, what size?
Sweet vehicle and setup, nice how much room you have in it. I just bought a 2023 4Runner before they make the turbo changes to it. That is crazy someone trying to steal the cat while you were at church.
What exact size bolt did you use?
Good review. I just saw these on Amazon, and it might be a good fit for my van!
I like that it’s compact and the way it installs, you can easily remove it when you don’t need it. Does not seem to be a hassle to remove and install when you need it for those road trips. Thanks for sharing.
You are that guy, guy.
"Gas mileage sucks." And all gen1 Sequoia owners said, "amen."
Did you break in the safariland yet? Im looking at getting a SCT19 with the 19 ported barrel and slide combo
Thanks for this video, looking at getting one for my expedition. I’m with you, would want to remove this when I’m not using it. I bet I could get some kind of U bolts to attach those L brackets to the rails.
I bought a 2006 Limited that came out of Sedona, AZ w/ 111k on th clock about 6 months ago and called Josh from 1st gen for an upgraded lift and wheels. I put the 255's on and love them - 33" tall and narrow. The Sequoia if is the most under rated SUV on the market. I love mine - it does it all.
I don't want to be that dude....so you're the kind of people who worries about what other people think? That's worse...... I can careless. That would be like I don't want to marry a fat obese spouse...... worries about people thinking you married a hipo..😂😂😂😂 who cares to each their own.
Nice rig bro, stay safe!
Weird I just bought and shipped a 1st gen Sequoia from them like one week ago…
how has your experience to date with the vehicle from them? I have been following their site but I feel they dont go a good job keeping it updated? Good experience buying from them overall? I feel you may pay premium with them as you said but as someone who also is in AZ its tough to find this spec here clean.
So far so good. I have replaced the cv axles. The ones they installed were aftermarket and one of the boots was tearing. I ended up getting Toyota ones. I also have just upgraded the suspension with JBA UCA’s and Fox 2.5 factory coilovers. Overall though the vehicle has been running good with little problems. It is a 22yo vehicle so there are things that need to be addressed from time to time. Im actually considering purchasing a GX from them for my wife.
Great video 👍🏻 , really helpful in my decision on getting one of these for my old Trooper. As far as be “ that dude” lol 😂 you’re already heading in that territory with the overall look of your Sequoia…which in my opinion looks amazing. Thanks again buddy 🇺🇸✝️👆🏻🤙🏻🅰️
Hey man, I’m an Arizona native with a first gen sequoia. If you ever want it wheel or hunt, let me know
Where in Arizona has a forrest for hunting?...I'm in Florida.
Had my Highline 6 /Springbar out for my first campout. Set up and take down with just myself was a breeze. I did buy the stormfly, but a storm was coming in as I was setting up and did not have time to set up the fly before the storm hit. So the rest of the campout I lived without it, thinking the rest of campout would be dry. Boy, was I wrong, big storm came through a couple days later. Still no fly up, depended on the tent itself to keep us dry. After the storm, took my flashlight on a close inspection of the seams of the interior of the tent. Not a drop of rain, guys!!!! Outside condensation coming through the tent from the storm was minimal, just a little damp, no drips. In a storm of that magnitude my Coleman would have a stream of rain coming in the bottom floor seams. even with the fly on. The key here is to don't forget to spray your tent seams twice and let dry thoroughly, both inside (with a squirt bottle) and out (with a hose), before you do your first campout. The stakes are nice and heavy duty,
Wow thanks for the feedback. Good to know! What did you treat the seams with?
I just ordered me the classic jack 100. I asked customer service what the difference between this one and the CJ100 and they said the only difference was under the triangle windows the classic jack 100 has two little net pockets to put stuff in. So from what they told me they’re basically the same tent. I also thought about buying the 2 add on awnings attachments for extra shade but just not sure I will get them. I figured a couple tarps would do the same thing but they’re not zipped together like yours are. I also wondered how well them zippers would hold up in windy weather.
Is there a parts number for the m6 1 pitch. What length to get?
Any rubbing?
Nope
Put a threaded barrel or comp on the 19. problem solved.
So it’s not really for a Glock 19. Got it.
The down side is too heavy weight around 34kg ? But if the car can reach the camp site thats eill be no problem 😅
How tall are you?
5’11”
Thanks for the vid. I have the same roof rack on my offroaded Sienna. This looks like you're in SD?
Clean! Whats the offset on the wheels? Thanks
I believe they are 0 offset
that should make your car-camping much more enjoyable
Those side awnings you said were zippered in did you add the zippers to the original tent awning?
No the tent came with the zippers sewn in.
great vid, like what you did with it!
I know this is a old video but how did you transport big game with this rig?
For elk: two canyon 125 outfitter coolers. I qtr all my animals in the field (gutless method) and throw the coolers in the back. Pretty simple. For deer I just use one of those coolers.
What Arca Swiss plate are you using with that Outdoorsman. Adapter? Thanks
Suriu TY-C10
Have you had any issues with the tilt adjustment lever hitting the plate above it when trying to lock the pan at an angle?
Yeah it is a little close and the pan lever doesn’t really lock down all the way. At least on mine. I just leave the pan lever locked down and it seems like it still pans with the same tension as unlocked. Then I don’t need to mess with it and it stays out of the way from the plate when tilting. If that makes sense.
I went with Stone Glacier. KUIU seemed like a gamble as it seems their sizing is all over the place from model to model (based on the comment section). I didn't want to deal with returns and such if something didn't fit correctly. I'm also not a big fan of hunting camouflage patterns. To me, I automatically think "Redneck" or "Appalachia" when I see it. Solid earth tones work well for me and it affords me the ability to wear the clothing out and about without looking like "Bubba" from the local militia. Just more "Low vis" and "versatile". I personally don't need a more expensive proprietary camouflage pattern for my purpose. Not meant as a "cut down" to those who like or need camo patterns. Just my opinion and life experience. Good Video. Thanks for the review. Old SF Guy.
" I don't want to be that dude " ,😂😂
É possível usar uma lanterna trl 7 nesse coldre?
What?😂
Nice! Would you be willing to make a more in depth video about building the platform/drawers? Looks like exactly what I want in my sequoia
Sick setup and even more awesome mustache.
I just picked up an 07 Sequoia Limited from Miramar Motorsports. Love it!!! The process was easy and they shipped it to me in Atlanta. Beginning modifications!!
“I don’t want to be that dude” lol I feel that but it’s probably a pain in the butt to keeping taking it on and off it you use it often
What if I add a threaded barrel to my glock 19? Wonder if that would essentially make it a glock 17 barrel length and work perfectly in the holster? Thanks for the vid
For the second bolt , you might use a nutsert that way no not to worry about when you take the awning off. It's basically a rivet with threads. Thanks for the video.
Just use a little blue lock tight to hold the pan head on. Blues not that strong so you can still get it off if you want. Red lock tight will be more Permanent.
