Came here from Critical Drinkers channel when your dad mentioned that you and him make RE videos together. Want to show my support for the channel and subscribe. Your dad has been a huge part of my childhood and RE remains a big part of my life. My grandfather bought me the game when i was a kid and we would stay up all night playing. RE became our thing. As i got older, i would bring RE and my PS1 to his house every month to play. We played one last time together 3 years ago when he passed away at the impressive age of 102. So RE is how i remember him. So its really nice seeing you and your dad experience this game together. You're very lucky..not only is your dad a legend but hes also a very loving and supportive dad

This is so awesome!! I wish I had a father as cool as yours! ..I remember playing this when it first came out and I was 15 I think. I had just gotten a PlayStation and haven't gotten a memory card yet, due to only making so much money at my minimum wage job. And I played it all the way to the shark encounter, and died. Didn't play RE again till I purchased a memory card lol!! On a side note, you two are playing the Japanese ver. of the game, that is the better version IMHO.

Whats going on with the green screen, can barely see the game, too much stuff in the way.

I'd have the biggest Coolaid smile playing Resident Evil sitting next to Albert "Freaking "Wesker.

I first played RE1 at a friends house back in 96 on the PS1, i was 15 years old. I remember my friend saying "Have you played Resident Evil before" i was like "No never heard of it". He just smiled and put the game in and i was blown away. When the original RE2 came out that blew me away even more and RE2 1998 is still my favourite game to this day. BTW those leg shots do work, they just take more than a couple of bullets to put them on the floor but whatever works for you its all good.

I played the first Resident Evil the year it came out, I had just bought a PlayStation. I didn't have money for a memory card, so every time I started the game again and played through it without a memory card :D

Have you guys heard that the original RE was officially re-released on PC yesterday? GOG (a digital storefront, like Steam). It's a shame the official RE twitter account got your Dad's line wrong (they've gone with "WHOAH... What a mansion!") but it's a good excuse for me to share one of his videos in the replies! Even if I'm only able to hang out for a little bit on Sunday to catch the episode premiere I always have a fun time and enjoy watching the rest of these episodes later. Hey Lexonal and Pablo, thanks so much for the shout out, always a really special appreciation coming from you guys, I was there (around 11yrs old) for the original 1996 release of Resident Evil and Pablo, I have to say Wesker was always one of my favourite characters then and still now, even though there has been a few voice actors on him now, your work will always have the most memorable and impact of them all, I can’t tell you how truly special that original Resident Evil is to me, not just from a nostalgic standpoint but for so many reasons, I thank you and everyone that was involved in the birth of one of, if not the best franchises of games of all time, and I’m so glad your finally getting the recognition you all deserve now, so a massive shout out to all the voice actors and live action actors of Resident Evil 1🙏🏼 and it’s so awesome that your now enjoying it with your son Lexonal who is just a fantastic young man, definitely following his fathers footsteps, you guys mean a lot to many people all over the world and I think I can speak for many of your followers/fans, we just love to experience the journey alongside with you guys, as crazy as it sounds Resident Evil is more then just a game, and we truly appreciate everything you do for the community, we all love you guys and wish for your channel to keep growing, just all of the very best of things to come, now and in the future, So thank you guys for all that you do, we all really appreciate it🙏🏼 So many great moments, great viewing in general, and a lot of fun, good times🤣👍🏼 and if anyone is reading this novel and you’ve made it this far, give these guys some love, subscribe if you haven’t already, hit those notification bells and all that good stuff👍🏼 An amazing episode guys, sadly I couldn’t make it to the premiere this time but have enjoyed catching up with it now, thanks for the memory unlock there with Bob Ross, very talented guy, and relaxing to watch, if you hit that 1-2 minute window of watching him there’s no way in hell, your changing the channel until he has fully painted some masterpiece, was great tv back in the day I’m sure he is still on some classic channels, definitely worth checking out, great impression also Pablo 😂 I probably said before can’t remember for certain but I’m in UK 🇬🇧 like you guys also, our weather is always so strange, never really know what to do, wear shorts and have an umbrella handy, we have what I call, the light switch weather, it does look like we’ve got a few hot ones on the way though, so expect snow and have your sun tan lotion handy😑 23:24 you gotta hand it to him 🫣 Nice spotting the locker room CAP on the whiteboard, we see what you did there CAPCOM, we love it 😓 Nice work in the 3rd medallion room using the c4 btw Lexonal, you done the best move without realising, if you don’t run the way you did, the bookshelf falls in front of that door so your temporarily blocked in, the licker is pretty much in your face, with the ceiling zombie so huge well done there💪🏼 Lickers are also blind so if you walk they won’t attack until they hear you run or use gunfire, also don’t walk into them as they will detect you like that, so when you can you can walk around these guys, flash bangs will not work well with them either, will very briefly stun them like you did when you shoved it in his gob, but if your close to them they swing there arms and hurt you so be careful with that, you did brilliant there, well done👍🏼 You can CAPitalise shots to the knees more with 2-4 shots by dismemberment, so there left crawling around, head shots are better unless you shot those legs off, be careful they don’t grab your feet though because they pull themselves up on you and go in for the kiss💋 Also knife slashes to downed zombies is a good way to tell if there dead or alive, can save ammo, and damage received to knife isn’t too bad, knifes take the most damage when used as a defence weapon when your grabbed but overall they last a fair bit and there is a fair amount of them in the game. I loved your reactions to the 1st Licker encounter, Pablo: should we take a break? Lexonal: Yeah sure, I can guarantee you everyone had that same moment, when I first see that Licker, my brain went too should I take a break, and I was like most definitely yep, my game was paused on the map screen I had to make a coffee ☕️ 😅 anyways Lexonal, Pablo huge thanks again, can’t wait for the next episode guys 😎😎

hey lexonal u dont have to go into ur inventory every time to equip a gun, same goes for any handheld items like a grenade or knife. Theres a fast select option, im letting u know just in case.

Funny enough - on the "CAP" joke, Capcom once had a magazine in the 90s that occasionally featured Resident Evil information in it titled "CAP!" The whiteboard showing "CAP" as the code might be a reference to this.

Hi there Lexonal, had a question for you if that's ok? A lot of the time, the older voice actors of Resi evil games, like the late Paul Haddad that voiced the first Leon Kennedy in resi 2, they spoke of how they had no idea they were IN these games because they had different names when they were worked on to keep them secret. Was that the same with your dad? Did you ever mention these games and hear him say 'wait I voiced that guy', or was it something you were always aware of?
