Drift Boat Fishing For Salmon On Vancouver Island!
#vancouverisland #canada #salmonfishing #fish #videography
Vancouver Island is known for it's rugged, fierce coastal rivers. It is the rough waterways like this that millions of salmon migrate every year to fufill their destiny of creating the next generation. Today me, Jorden, and Levi will embark on a salmon fishing mission to intersect these fish as they run up river to spawn. Come along with us as we drift down the pristine river to experience world class Coho Salmon fishing.
I'd like to give a big thanks to @harbourchandler1586! They are a tackle and boating shop local to the island with the goal to fulfill your every fishing, and boating needs. For me personally, they have provided endless support to the channel by providing a sponsorship opportunity, giving me local intel on the certain bite windows, and to teach me the best ways to locate the fish. The Harbour Chandler has some truly amazing staff who are more than willing to help you chase down the fish of your dreams. Make to sure go down to The Harbour Chandler or at least check out their website to see just how much they have to offer!

Have you been to mcgregor this year and had any luck on the walleye? Weve only been seeing Pike!
Great video-but an important thing to add is that a jawjacker is useless on most cold days when ice can freeze on the spinning rod spool and on days when the hole continually freezes over.
Don't fish much do you
Good vid...but would be better without the tinkerbell music
I love bass fishing. Wish there was bass in Alberta.
@@tcz7742 Would be epic!
Handled that like Steve Erwin would. “Venomous? Farrr out! ima grab it by the neck and hope I don’t get stuck” nice 3 pieces species, bro 😎

@MainstreamAngling Nov 7th is the big moose 🫎 well anterless moose hunting trip, night 1 is solo, im a little concerned, Grizzlies everywhere but I will get camp set and firewood. yes, even with a rifle, I am worried lol, I can't kill Grizzlies in Alberta, so I got to be very careful. I will always defend myself if needed. we've had the stand-up 20 yards from us, but they seem to leave us alone.

Hoping to do this one day! Are there still good fishing spots in Drumheller for fishing? River seems so dry this month.
@@econtreras As you get further down to Drumheller the river gets murkier, which doesn’t mean it is a bad thing. It just means you must throw a lure more vibrant and loud so the fish can react to it. The river does tend to get dry and warm but the Goldeye should be biting no matter what. I’ve yet to have a bad day in fishing on the Red Deer River! Hope this helps!
@@MainstreamAngling Hey I appreciate it man! Didn’t think you’d reply. God Bless!

I been fishing there with my inflatable and touches 20 fishes almost each trip . But I anchored at 85 to 110 feet . It’s is a nice fishery

Sean said in his video of drifting the red deer river, that you are already in college, and that is why you're on the island. I never knew you were that old. What course are you taking for college?
