¿¿¿ DOES THIS WORKS ON LUMIA 925 ???????

This review was written 3 years ago when the Microsoft Surface Pro 7 Intel Core i7 16GB was still running on Windows 10. I strongly suspect this device will be working a whole lot better with most of the mentioned kinks and bugs resolved via numerous firmware updates between then and now. Most importantly, these devices will almost certainly be running Windows 11 Pro, which is highly stable and tends to work a lot more flawlessly than Windows 10 ever did. This device is now "old" by modern standards and can be picked up at a huge discount as a refurbished device. I'm presently using a Surface Pro 5 Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD, and apart from an ageing battery, it's been flawless - never had problems with MS Teams - as long as it was plugged in. The Surface Pro 7 is now being advertised as a refurb in the UK for £499 - that's with an Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM and a 256GB SSD - and of course Windows 11 Pro pre-installed. It would be safe to assume that by now, this device would have had all the important firmware updates for the last 3 years installed. Yes, of course the battery will not be perfect at this vintage but it will still work. I'm thinking of upgrading to one of these for the price - I could use the upgraded Intel Core i7 processing capability and the 16GB RAM.

Don't waste your money, guys! Deeper Connect hardware is a nightmare!!

What's your point, this is your opinion, which is also not based on anything and maybe not your taste, and that involves your Mac, I suspect that you are a Microsoft hater and are promoting Apple here. I have a Surface Pro 7 i7/16GB and it works perfectly. It does what it's supposed to do and I'm very happy with it. And what do you mean, old design, it's beautiful and I think you know very little about technology. The CPU is not a desktop CPU but a mobile CPU. How can you put a CPU in the Surface that gets 100 degrees Surface does not have active cooling. I think this is typical of a talk from an ex-employee of Microsoft who lashes out. We don't know why you're out of there, that you have an opinion about something okay, but calling on people not to buy the Surface is going a long way. Should we all go over to the MAC with its dictatorial OS, didn't think so my friend. I think most of the responses are clear. You can count yourself lucky that Microsoft doesn't sue you, again opinion is allowed, but calling people out not a product because of a personal opinion is even punishable in my opinion.

I still think the most stupid thing that I've seen is soldering the cpu and video to the motherboard.

Its ok for repetitive low resistance, my disks popped off when using 40lb nor they dont stay on even with 10lb on 😢 its a good idea but now it doesnt work. Im going to use epoxy glue to weld the 1st weight in place and hope the rest hang on to this disk. Otherwise ill have to glue the lot together. Haven't seen a fix for this, but many report on this disk failure. Thanks for the review of it though.

Built the portable sst drive from the components on your video. It was easy, but when I connected to either my computer or laptop, it wasn't recognized. Looking at the power lite, it comes on for a minute or so and goes off. Help.

Im so mad i applied liquid metal to my lg gram because it runs at 90c and i tried EVERY thermal paste out there and non of them worked. So i figured ok liquid metal would reduce it to 80 or 85 cool ill try that so i tried it and applied it correctly and unfortunately it runs the same pegged at 90c no improvement what so ever what a waste now i have to find a way to remove the liquid metal and just use thermal paste.

You should NEVER put liquid metal in a laptop, it will migrate and blow out the mother board, it was never intended to be used in something that is moved.

Video is right on point. Can find better features on other headsets (Bose has slightly better noise cancelling, Sony has slightly better sound, Backbeat is slightly more comfortable) but overall you get more bang for your $ with the 8200. Have had this headset since 2020 and it still works great.

I still don't understand why Microsoft doesn't insist on a machine similar to the Nokia Lumia 950 XL (I have one of my own). But, already in 2023, together with the current hardware, it should add something that many of us who know a little about computing: software similar to ARM Windows, which would allow us -without complications- to have a dual start. Thus, we could read "exe" files, and even program. It would be finely a pocket computer, and cell Phone. Hopefully this idea will be implemented by Microsoft. Good video.

with some of today's flagships having as much RAM as a PC this really could be used as a basic PC for school or work purposes. The GPUs are still too weak to use them as gaming PCs though.

As a designer, the surface pro 7 is THE worst!! If you use Adobe CC....dont get to excited. If you need Photoshop, Illustratior....its gonna freeze up and can barely keep. if you plan to use After effects you can only do one project with so any changes before it freezes up. Ive never been able to use Premiere Pro. Unity eats up the whole thing. especially if you are like me and like to recreate scenes from Zelda, Minecraft, etc. Avoid, just get a PC (or gaming laptop)

NEVER BUY A SURFACE!! It is the worst device ever My nightmare began in September when I was excited to purchase my Surface Pro 7+. At first, I loved its sleek and practical design. However, my excitement quickly turned to frustration when I tried to use it for Zoom, Google Meets, or even Teams, which is from Microsoft itself. Every time I opened one of these platforms, my computer would crack, lag, or even restart with creepy sounds. As a UCLA MBA student, I needed to use Zoom for presentations and interviews, which added more stress. I was afraid that my laptop would fail in the middle of an interview, which did happen more than once, forcing me to use my iPhone instead. I contacted Microsoft's technical support, and they were efficient in giving me a new laptop of the same model. I was happy and assumed the problem was solved, but it wasn't. The new device had the same issue. I searched for "Surface Pro 7+ and Zoom, Google Meets, Teams problems" and found many consumers who had experienced the same problem as me. I contacted Microsoft again and asked them to address the issue since it was obviously a manufacturing defect. Unfortunately, I received a message from the support team today, which was disappointing. "Hello Maria, Thank you for contacting Microsoft Surface Support! This is a follow up email regarding your case request about the device issue. Upon checking with our team, I was confirmed that there is unfortunately no option to exchange the device with a different model. I was confirmed that the issue is not a known issue on the Surface pro 7+ devices. But if the issue is present, we can only provide the repair option for a similar model, same specifications. I am sorry as I wish I could come with better news. In case you need assistance to proceed with the repair order, you can just share your shipping address and I will assist with that." This entire ordeal has become beyond ridiculous. I have videos and pictures that clearly show how my laptop reacts when I open Zoom, Google Meets, or Teams. I have countless screenshots of more than 100 public claims from other consumers who have experienced the same problem. Despite all of this evidence, Microsoft is still unwilling to take responsibility for their faulty model. After an exhausting journey of trying to get a resolution, I have finally come to the realization that I must give up and purchase a different brand laptop. However, I will not let this go without a fight. I will warn everyone I know and even strangers to avoid buying a Surface or any Microsoft product, given their lack of responsibility and unwillingness to fix this issue. It is beyond frustrating that I am left with no other choice but to spend more money on a new device because of their negligence.

you should also put tape around the die and plastic all over the whole pc so only the die can be seen and that will give a small insurance if something happens.

Lack of ports and difficult to impossible to change the batteries in morern devices are main issues

On this particular cooler assembly its really not advised to apply liquid metal, at 4:10 it can be clearly seen that the indentations are really close (like 1mm or less) to the aluminum part of the heatsink, it may get in contact with liquid metal and it will destroy the heatsink. Should only be applied on cooler assemblies that are made of copper or nickel plated copper. Btw the main benefit of liquid metal is its longevity on high performance parts, instead of changing the thermal paste every 2-3 months on a 6800XT, you can apply liquid metal once, and it will last for 2 years easily. Graphite pads are also good at this, but the temperatures are much worse.

You did not even touch on the best parts of that OS. You could fire up Cortana (Siri for Windows) and say, "next time I talk with Tech Jamo, remind me to tell him I like his channel". Then the next time I send or recieve a text, a call, or an email from/to you, it would pop up a reminder that said " remind me to tell him I like his channel". through Cortana, you could say, "next time I go by Walmart, remind me to get some batteries". And then every time you drove within 1/2 a mile of a Walmart, it would pop up a reminder on your phone. You could say "remind me to get flowers for my wife" and every time you went by any flower store, it would pop up a reminder. I travel for work and go to the same restaurants but never know when I might be there. At one, I told Cortana, "next time I come here, remind me to order the fish tacos". Eighteen months later when I was at that restaurant, my phone dings and the reminder says "order the fish tacos".
