These black bears up don’t want anything to do with you. I fish Dukes creek all the time. Those bear will walk within 50’ of you and watch you fish. Holler at one and they run like squirrels

That was a harmless ratsnake. Cotton mouth aka water moccasin are a South Georgia snake.

Just walk them down to the cat walk bro that way you don't have to pull them all the way up or spend extra on nets n strings

When you're fly fishing and you cast upstream, pull the line in with your hand as it floats downstream. That gives you a chance at catching those fish like the one you missed. As soon as you see that splash set the hook. You still might miss them but you'll have a much better chance good luck with that it's a tricky way to fish but i love it.

Nice fish. I saw the guy who lost a fish because his line snapped trying to pull fish up so far and you were having to do the same. I used to have that problem but about 20 yrs ago i learned if i took a metal basket out of one of the old school freezers and use rope and basically go through each corner and come up to a common center point on each and tie that and have bout 20 plus feet of rope with a loop with slide knot so it dont slip off your wrist you can drop it dont and ease a fish into it and raise the fish with no stress on fishing line.

I see you have officially been initiated. It happens to all and if a fly fisherman tells you he has never fallen in then either he doesn't fish much or lying.

I really enjoyed the video. It is great to see guys take off and do a trip up there. Remember taking a couple of novices there in the 90's and it was a blast. First trip up there was in 86 and still go there now and then. Camping with your buddy's is the best and you will have memories for a lifetime. We didn't have action cameras back then but we did take a huge VHS camera. Still have the video from our 4 day adventure in and around Helen.

Y’all do know that section one of dukes creek continues about 2 miles above the highway above the visitor center right? Would’ve saved y’all from walking that huge hill down below the private stretch. There’s fish throughout the entire creek. I always just stay on section one for the convenience of it being right at the visitor center and up.
