Such a beautiful village....I also have CHarles DIckens so i came across this today and have watched 2x ....Your cobblestone road got me ready to pull out the foam an make a copy...Thanks for inspiration !!! summer not too early for me to start...i already was outside making a lake for this years....waiting for your 2024.....
Did u make it all ur Self? Or was it half custom ordered and the rest diy?
@@nomanejane5766 I did them all myself. Labor of love…
beautiful christmas village. looking forward to this years christmas village
@@johnalebeek7079 thank you….I’m going to build NYC again this year.
Perfect in every particular
Thank you so much.
I really enjoy this village! I love Department 56 houses and figurines!
I'm excited this coming Christmas
I’m building NYC this year. Stay tuned
If you don't mind me asking, what does your village measure? How far back, and how wide is it?
Haha not at all. The depth is 5 feet and width is 10 feet.
Thank you for that, it’s been a few years since I put one up and yours has truly inspired me, and with my Granddaughter going to be 2 years old I know she will love it. I know you keep hearing this but it is a Beautiful Village Display!!!
@@michaelvelazquez7416 your granddaughter will definitely love it. Just let me know if you have any questions with the set up. I will start NYC display at the end of the summer.
Your display is beautiful, one of the best I’ve seen in UA-cam. Where did you get that cobblestone flooring for the whole display, it looks amazing.
Thank you. I carved and painted the cobblestone streets myself. Took a long time especially for this big display.
Amazing, you did a beautiful job! Thank you for sharing it with all of us.
@@michaelvelazquez7416thanks again. It’s my pleasure to spread Christmas cheers.
Trop beau d'où vient vos sujets?
What did you use for roads? Love this layout
I've watched your videos multiple times. I noticed that on another video you mentioned that you painted the building to create your NY cityscape. I was wondering what paint you used on your "Under the Boomershoot", since I noticed that you have a a number of the figurine but with different colored umbrellas. I'm assuming you painted them?
Thank you so much. Yes I have painted my pieces when I need to. However, this particular piece is available in different colored umbrellas. Those with colorful umbrellas were special event pieces called ‘Under the NCC umbrella.’ There’s 5 available (yellow, green, red, blue and white). If you want to paint the umbrella yourself, any acrylic paint will work.
I love 💕💕💕😘 this 🥰🥰👍👍😱👏👏, and the music is beautiful 😍❤️😍❤️❤️
Very beautiful! This is a wonderful village. I do like the conblestone streets and snow everywhere. Mine is also a snow village, but i dont use a snow blanket, just loose snow. I am goimg to start makimg my 2024 platforms.
I can’t tell you how many times I’ve watched your videos. They’re Absolutely beautiful. I’m not sure if you respond to comments but You have a chocolate stand accessory that I love. I’ve searched everywhere - dept 56 and lemax, and I can’t find it. Do you know where you got it? Thank you! Happy New Year!
Thank you very much for your kind words. It’s a labor of love for sure. All these pieces are department 56. If I think correctly, the chocolate stand you referred to is called ‘Dickens Village, sidewalk sweets’. It was a special limited edition 2016 mid year release. The coordinating house is called ‘Christmas Sweet’. At the time, I got it from one of the retailers. I have not seen the accessory available on secondary market. I have seen the house awhile back. I’ll keep an eye out for you.
There’s the North Pole and Snow Village versions of this house/accessory combo.

Beautiful!!!!!! Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2024 ❤
Thank you!!! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to you and your family.
THIS is what a christmas display has to be! No Bling Bling lights, no flying Santa. Just a landscape that really could have been existed. In a time period which really was. It's an european display, I like these so much more than the most of the UA-cam presented from USA. Watch my little one...😉... And I see a lot of figurines here, I didn't know yet. Thanks for showing. At this time the best diorama I've seen this season.👍 Supplementle: I've seen you are from NY. So sorry, if I hurt you because I wrote something about american displays. It's Not personal, it's in generell. And you proves it: There are exceptions....
Thank you so much for your kind words. I don’t like blinging lights or flying Santa either. And I usually don’t mix different village collections (scale difference and different period clothing). For this Victorian London display, I only wanted to use pieces from Dickens Village collection. It eliminated the headache of making sure if that certain piece would belong or not. Haha don’t worry about your American comment. I usually like the European displays more with more emphasis on landscaping. (I wish I can do the same). Happy Christmas to you and your family. Cheers!!
If you want the name of any figurines you don’t recognize, just let me know.
Where it all started for me--your exceptional record of Dickens' displays. Tremendous achievement this year of a dream of Victorian London. Cheers and more cheers!
Very beautiful Dana. Love all the detail work you put into it. The cobbles, arranging the buildings to be a village as you would see in Europe and then topping it off with a nice table skirt and trim. My village is set up very similar. Cheers to you! Merry Christmas.
Your video was great, well done...Wonderful village, you took such great care in putting it together. I love that it didn't have swinging, elevating, moving parts. 👍🏼👍🏼❤️🇨🇦
Thank you so much. I try to keep things simple and cozy. Those swinging and moving parts give me headaches so I try to avoid them. I only have about 3 houses that have motor parts in this collection. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁
Wow! This is quite a beautiful collection to create this village! It almost makes me wish to be a collector of things or make a visit to the House on the Rock in Wisconsin where a collector of things once lived. Fun!
Thank you very much. I’ve been collecting this collection since 2008.
good morning from bali my dear friend, thank for taking us with this beautiful video
Thank you for your kind words…Happy Holidays from New York…
Lovely video and Christmas songs sung by the great Michael Buble! ❤❤❤❤😊
Thank you Karen. Every year I say I want you to use other Christmas music but always end up using ones sung by Michael Buble.. love him.

Well done again ! Can you tell me the name of the grey colored cathedral at 6'45 ? grateful !

Just stunning! And all the little details like the Christmas balls in the sleigh, and the cafe tables perfect. Where did you get the trees in the metal grates? I've been looking for those
Thank you. The trees are called City Bare Lit Trees by department 56.
Beautiful display! I have never seen the Fube Porcelain shop/factory, excellent! Please consider redoing music portion. Congratulations on a job very well done and great camerawork!
Gorgeous layout!!!
Please show us your village for 2022 🎉😊
Ahh. Due to some personal reasons, I won’t be able to do village this year. But I promised that I’ll be back next year with a lot bigger and better Dickens display.

What building did you use for Harry Jacob’s?
Harry Jacob’s is the original building that Department 56 made.
Could you tell me how you were able to hide the light cords on the buildings? Thank you!
Pm me.
Hello. could you tell me how you did the writing for the high end stores? Manolo Blank, Louis Vuitton and Channel? I am modeling my Christmas after yours.
Hello. That’s the easiest part. I just printed the signs out from stock pics I found on the internet. Have fun building your village.
Could you tell me how you were able to switch out the things inside the LV, Channel and Manolo Blahnik stores?
