American comics are antiquated. A floppy thats 25 pages for 4 to 5 bucks an issue every month is a failed and out dated practice that japan and europe has either left in the dust or has skipped over entirely.what also doesnt help is the majority is superhero stuff which how far can you go with these stories after 100 years? Doesnt help the disjointed nature of comics and lower quality art and writing has killed any potential for new customers.

Disappointing to learn about Chuck. I feel that pros like Chuck Dixon and Mark Millar are huge fencesitters, trying to be friendly to both sides but never willing to really take a firm position so they can keep their doors open to both sides despite the problematic actions of the corporations. As for Shad, he is a nobody. I tried reading his novel and it was garbage. Couldn't make it past the first few pages as you can immediately tell that he is an amateur without any skills to draw the reader in.

Comics dies the moment they lost the young generation. They are a subsized industry now, held by the movie studios and other merchandises. To be honest I'm surprised theu still print their books I thought they'd move to digital a long time ago.

My LCS told me they aren't getting their shipment this Wednessday. I guess this is why.
