Just watched, learned a bit about rotators and hex beams. Thank you.
Thanks for watching
your grid is wrong on js8.
I need to double check that. I run JS8 via the Flex located at my Sister's house.
Thank you Don, I want to run it all on a tablet. Make it very portable.
That should work
Hi Don, Are you running Windows 10? Stay safe. 73 WJ3U
I like this a lot. This is very expensive, but perfect. Good stuff.
It is expensive but it is very well made. Thanks for watching
Enjoying the vids! HNY!

Great. Doublets are wonderful antenna. I got rid of my 4:1, but my intellituner has one built in. Ape says I should rewind it to 1:1, and I think he is right.
The Palomar is a 1:1 balun. And I am enjoying the doublet. Thanks for watching
Coming along nicely Don! Thanks for sharing. 73
Thanks Rob
It's looking good Don. It's going to take a while but it will come.

I haven't had the flu shot in years. It has been several years since I had a vaccine and that was the one you're supposed to get every 10 yrs, i call it the if you get cut vaccine. I normally get more than just a few sniffles when i get a vaccine.
I get a flu shot every year because . . . it's free. And I did have the Flu once and I don't want to get it again ;)
@@don_n5skt its been a while since ive had a bad illness. Usually get a minor something from time to time. Its time for me to get serious on losing weight
Install is looking good. I will be ordering one of those kf7p panels for the texas shack, then one for the az shack. What is the outer diameter of the conduit going inside the shack?

Etsy has a maker that 3d prints a case for the kenwood d75. It looks great and has a lot of 5 star reviews. It is made from a tpu filament, flexible rubber like material. I am definitely going to pick one up. Take care! don
Thanks for the tip. I will check it out.
@ you should pick up some tpu filament and print your own.
thank you for the update
Thanks for watching Mike

Great seeing you today bud!
Mike, the battery box in this video has a real time digital display that I'd like to look into. Can you tell me where you got it and the mfg and model of the device? Much appreciated, sir! Have a Merry Christmas and 73!
Thanks for coming out. Had a blast. And my radio did arrive 😉
@@jeffsturman7246 I thought Mike had a build video on it on his channel. Here is the battery monitor: ua-cam.com/video/IwkeDnUz4qY/v-deo.html
Thank you @@don_n5skt. I'll look at the video. 73s Brother! Catch you on the radio sometime. Weather non conducive to deploying the portable "shack". Fall/Winter Life in Western WA.

Looks amazing, Don
Thanks Sean. Been enjoying your content as well
Wow, a blank canvas! It looks great. You are going to have some fun! Enjoy and thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching Rob
If I didn't have to tromp through the snow for part of the year I would love to put a "shack-in-the-back". But I would pretty much put outlets on every other stud. At least in the bench area.
The # of outlets is what they offered but I am beginning to agree with you.
looks good don.
Thanks for stopping by Mike
Looks good Don!
Thanks for watching, TO
Is that big enough for all your radios
Barely but I will have to add another building when I add more radios 😆
That looks awesome Don. Can't wait to see it all done.
Thanks. There is a lot more to do. The spray foam should be done in a few days but then the real work begins.
I'm jealous, but in a good way. Looking forward to the build out.
Thanks. I will be making more videos as I progress.
Life getting better
Thanks for watching LC
A building full of potential, Don! Enjoy the build-out process!
Are you thinking of running some thicker DC wiring in the walls for 12v distribution before spray foaming? Maybe an 8 or 6 ga. bus? 🙂
Not really planning on any long runs as I have enough A/C around. I have multiple Astron supplies that I can place at each station and I only have 35A supplies.
