Good to see you making content Don, the puck GPS units are amazing. I used one to bring the F/V Queen Corrine from Louisiana to Oregon, it worked as well on my laptop running OpenCPS to navigate as the expensive marine systems.

I too have been looking at a shack or even a GO Box PC that's on 12V.. a couple laptops and a couple mini pc's .. the WOWEE one that KM4ACK did a review up works well but its only dual core A9-9400.. Ive ordered the N305 you mentioned. As for the 1PPS pucks you were referring to .. Have you fund any USB GPS Puck that specifically advertise 1PPS? THanks again for the great review of the N305
I have seen different sizes and frequently what I do is what someone had shown in a video. I cut the cord to the adapter that comes with it and add power poles to the wires inside. And that is because the are different sizes. I have some transverters that have the same power adapters as many of them and I have used those but I have found some that don't fit. And by don't fit I mean either the internal pin doesn't make contact or the outer ring.
