If yo get GX, you get Lexus service experience. Keep in mind, everybody is going to cut on overall costs. Lexus hasn’t dissapointed me as yet.

GX is most attractive in person. Not obvious in photos or videos. Have to see it in person. Superior drive train and suspension. Unfortunately NO real leather on GXOT+ or a digital rear view mirror. Major omissions for the trim and price point.

In the process of trading in my Model Y for almost this exact configuration! Delivery in less than 2 weeks!

I'm a large person at 6'4" (193cm) and I just test drove the 2024 models Tiguan, CX-50, CR-V Sport Touring hybrid, and RAV-4 hybrid just yesterday. The Mazda is SUPER difficult to get in and out of; it was incredibly cramped with markedly less leg room that the Honda and VW in both front and back seats. The Mazda also had lower build quality and felt more plastic. I could grab and move the dash up and down around two inches with my knee and hands. The Mazda felt the cheapest; it didn't feel premium at all. The Toyota was next to last in space, legroom, headroom and feeling crammed in; I think the Toyota was the loudest car on the road. The RAV-4 drove well, feeling planted but again, for one of the expensive options it felt cheap inside. Our family did NOT see the attraction. We talked about it today and everyone agreed the VW and Honda basically tied for first place but for different reasons. Interior controls were best on the CR-V; the CR-V felt the quickest with that torque-y little hybrid motor. Everything in the Honda was easy to use and seemed easy to live with. The VW felt the most premium, quiet and solid. It felt like you were wrapped in steel and more importantly there was a LOT of space. The rear seats reclined a bit and the girls thought it was the most comfortable; I'd agree. The VW was slower; it didn't feel as quick but I think it handled the best. The VW felt "safe." I think the VW would be perfect without the plastic oil pan (really VW???) and the crap HVAC controls. We're probably going to by the Tiguan and learn to live with the stupid touch screen controls. I'll be interested to see what the 25 models look like.

Considered the TRD Pro, but now plan to buy the GX 550 OT. Why? More cargo area, better V6 powertrain, EKDSS, .6" more ground clearance, on board air compressor, cooled seats. Also, it looks better and has a much nicer interior. The LC is a less desirable, watered down version of the same vehicle. Contrary to the narrator, the GX OT does have under body protection. Higher costs at the pump is the only drawback for me.

Lucid is better than any SUV.

Wish they integrated a better place to put your phone up higher on the dash. Other than that beautiful car I like the design. Nice tail lights.

Do you want full time 4WD? Do you want v6 or hybrid. You are done after answering those questions unless approach angle is a deal breaker then maybe don’t get GX

The quality is definitely down. They are tryna get the curb weights down because it’s cheaper to ship. In them cheaper materials are used. And Toyota is in massive dept.

Handsome looking car

The X doesn't look old. It's familiar, futuristic, and still relevant. They all have their own design language but the lucid is the worst. It would be right at home on a Chrysler showroom floor as the next Pacifica. Downside of the lucid bigger battery is 1000lbs more weight than the X and equals more wear and tear. Not a plus when you'll be probably be spending money on tires and who knows what else for the extra mileage.

With Ford's quality control problems, and lack of common sense engineering. Combined with lack of a manual transmission. Its a gamble I'm not willing to take, think I'll stick with my 2020 WRX sti.

Why don't you put the highest value on range and driving capability??? I think lucid is the best car ever. Exterior is very stunning to me as well .

I will tell you this is by far the best and most comprehensive review of any cars or cars plural that I have ever seen in my life you are incredible. Keep up the good work. I would love for you to do a segment of midsize SUVs with a $70-$90,000 price tag pointI’d like to see the X5 the XC 90 the Lincoln Nautilis black label or the aviator Porsche Macon one of the BMW SUVs that falls in that price point there’s a couple I can honestly say that before I pull the trigger on my next car which will be before June 1, 2025 once I pick the vehicle I’m gonna hope that you have done a review on it. Keep up the good work.

The Volkswagen should not even be in this category, so I’m not gonna even talk about it. It’s legs ahead of the rest. The Mazda has the best performance and driving experience. The Toyota and the Honda is best reliability, and the Tucson clearly has the best tech and luxury.

OK, I haven’t even started to watch this video but it’s been my business for the last two decades to live breathe eat and sleep automobiles dollar for dollar pound per pound technology luxury performance, gas mileage efficiency if you look at all of these fields warranty included, there is one winner that clearly stands out that is dramatically better than all the othersThis is not even a matter of opinion this is fact the Volkswagen has massaging seats for under 40 K I have an $85,000 BMW with the same features that that Volkswagen has NAPA leather heads up display massaging seats, etc. and there are other cars on this list that have a faster 0 to 60 time in the Volkswagen, but I would glad to make that sacrifice to have the nicer car.

Helpful review I think the lucid should have more stuff as standard They have a Porsche like options menu that can rack up the price for sure But I have a model x and will say that it’s inferior in every category but value for what you get standard to almost all the cars listed.

Gravity is way ahead than any others for now. Cancelled my Model X order to buy a Gravity!
