Where are these kits made? They certainly aren't inexpensive. I'm reluctant to pay new modern prices for 30 year old tech that doesn't compete. Great channel, dig your non abrasive style that lacks the typical schtick and fuktard energy. Keep up the good work.

Looks like a good chassis, but like a few others it takes a bit of fettling to get it right. I'm currently running an Xpress XQ3S at my local club, and it's going pretty well. The build was easy, with no real problems, and I've only broken the left rear body post and the right side spool outdrive (on the front, obviously), the steering knuckles are plastic but they are pretty beefy and strong....

I just did a full rebuild on a c stamp, went worlds style with it , 17.5 brushless with a 6 gear trans, CVD axels and V2 thread shocks. It's going on the track for sure 😂. I'll keep the clear edition on the shelf

The worlds car I am building comes with a manual, but there are mistakes in it and I had to download latest one from AE website.

Just bought this kit, along with some of the YeahRacing upgrades… however, I can’t work out where the TATC-007 Aluminium front chassis stiffener is supposed to be fitted. I could not see it at all in your video… did you leave it off??

Nice delivery of the car - FYI the Tamiya cross-tool that nearly everyone in the hobby would have, fits the nuts and is hollow so fits the long screws on shocks..just used it on my Team Car this week.

I just finished building this kit. I had no idea it was imperial. Bit of a pain but its such a good buggy. It cost me about £65 for new imperial tools but its worth it. I love the paintjob on yours and those wheels and tyres. Mine will be Ferrari red and black JC racing wheels. I wanted to do it in flouro like yours but my son wants it red so its going to be red :)

Any videos of the fan rc car driving? I see lots of unboxing and a few build videos but no one is posting any driving vids.

naturally the rear will steer better going forward and the front will steer better when in reverse. i have spent alot of time messing with the length of all the steering rods to almost get it even and im quite happy with it now.

Hi Rob. Question regarding window trim decals. Occasionally a kit will have a window trim decal that is a single piece, and includes a clear area for the window in the center. Might be a wing window, or a side-back window (such as I have on the GT3 kit I am building). When you encounter these, do you cut out the clear window portion, so the decal is just the border? Or do you keep the center clear portion on the decal, and apply over the window?

The EMB is nice but when i was finished with my reflex i was shocked. Yhe handling on the reflex was so much better to drive. They are both nice but the reflex omg it's a beast on the track.

My Losi JRX2 instruction manual was lousy. Great car, but the instructions sucked. The instructions for my Tamiya Avante and Grasshopper were so much better.

that thing don't look proportional. is it really 1/10 "scale" ? what is the wheelbase? and diameter of the tires?

Some track notes from yesterday's run. My drive shafts kept popping. It was suggested to me to adjust droop by adding more spacers inside the shocks. I opened the front shocks (at the track...) and added two more o-rings inside, so my front shocks now have 4 o-rings inside, and much less travel. That fixed the front for the rest of the day. At the rear I moved the shocks to the most inward position at the towers, and adjusted a shorter (-4 deg, it was) camber to keep the cups in. The back held fine after that and there was no need to mess with the shocks further. Until I broke off the camber link mount in the last round of finals... That's fine, the CF replacement will be here this week. I found out about and ordered "TXV2-021SP", 39mm drive shafts from YR, intended for the rear. Have already ordered double cardans for the front, but they're coming from HK so will take a bit of time to arrive.

I got the XV02 during a sale for 250€, I should have gotten myself a XV01, the build overcomplicated for me. I'm not a "RTR" guy but honestly this XV02 feel so frustrating.
