I discovered you can still get the trophy for collecting all memos in New Game Plus. You can do so by unlocking the safe in Pete's Bowl o' Rama. It is the safe you get the White Claudia in for the Bliss Ending. The code is 1887. You can actually see the code on the bloody note at 20:00 in this video. This is the only difference with collectables between in New Game and New Game Plus. I can confirm it works as I have done it myself. Thank you for the guide.

As for me, I always maintain this, we live in a FASCINATING time. We have access to the works of the past more easily than ever before. This means, we should be able to learn from the past better than ever before. I'm not saying I don't like a reimagining but something like Batman Beyond... I... FREAKIN HATE batman beyond, coz it's an ultra downgrade of how good Batman used to be. But I also get where some others may come from. Honestly, I dunno about you, but I'm a 90s, 2000s guy. And... that era SPOILED US! Using pro wrestling terms, there are too many who are trying to recreate ECW of all things, over 20 years after the company closed. This shows the lasting impact of the 90s product. The Rock, Stone Cold... even nWo Hogan, These new people, Roman Reigns, Adam Paige, they will NEVER be able to capture the magic of Rock, Austin or Hogan. Take rap music, there has not been another DMX ever But now, we live in a time, where we can access those golden pieces of art so easily. We should be doing a better job learning from them. As for game preservation, nothing lasts forever, the hardware will eventually fail or become too outdated. But still, older games should be preserved.

Okay, listen. As someone who loves this game, its also incredibly stupid and childish to just kind of go "ill never trust IGN" or apply that logic to anything where MULTIPLE PEOPLE WORK THERE The review was pretty bad... but also an opinion. I dont think Isolation is a game for everyone, some people will bounce off it, or find it too slow. Thats fine. I dont think that makes its a 5.9, but regardless. The main point however, is people like different things, but especially with IGN or any place like Kotaku, Eurogamer, whatever, you have so many people working there, its not a collective opinion. Even more recently they realised a video, made by someone who didnt work there at the time this review came out, calling it a masterpiece, and why they love it. I think acting like that review hurts the sales was just not.. true. The Alien brand at the time was not good, this was not only post-Colonial Marines, but also right after Prometheus. People didnt care about Alien. IGN were also not the only place to score it low. Theres an argument in getting the "right person" to review a game, absolutely. But i find this entire video just kind of salty in the wrong direction, especially when we now have a new game on the way.

hey, I have this weird issue, so I did all the other endings using your video (thanks for help btw) but for some reason the UFO ending isn't working for me, I used the blue crystal in all the locations needed, but it just doesn't trigger, once I inspect the crystal in room 312 the cutscene won't trigger and I'm just standing in the room with the crystal in hand... any idea how to fix it?

the book of memories count towards? its only availiable when you finish the game? and you can't play on new game plus?

I don't mind if they do 1 or 3 next but I think Konami should also do what they did for MGS with the Master Collection and rerelease the OG's.

Things I learned from my Hardcore mode run of Dead Space 2 on PS3 a ways back could apply here. 1) On any previous playthrough before impossible mode, for each chapter, write down and remember potentially dangerous areas you know you'll run into 2) Write down for each chapter any potential instant death traps (centrifuge in chapter 3, go left, not right!), and other such scenarios (fans in the engineering deck, potential explosions, guardian locations (those wall mounted monsters that spit the tentacles) 3) low on health? Bench nearby? Reset your nodes for your suit for a low price of 5k credits then put them all back on. You'll walk away with full stasis and health. Put the force gun and contact Beam in your inventory but don't equip them (unless you plan to use them, I'm doing a Story run with Plasma Cutter only right now). Both guns' ammo is expensive, which makes for great cash at the store kiosks

The opening of the first silent hill game...

Silent hill 2 first was a huge concern for me upon hearing about it, but it does serve well as stand alone and if it didn’t do well at least we wouldn’t get half of a story and left to never get the rest due to terrible storytelling/gameplay/etc. I do hope they make 1, 3 & 4 as well, in that order! I was really worried that SH2 remake would have been a quick cash grab but I am glad it turned out so well. Starting with 1 would probably be the best move for Konami, considering how major the game is to the psychological horror genre and the massive impact it has on games still to this day. This remake (SH2) was likely to test the waters to see if it would go over well with fans, and from what I have seen it has done quite well. I hate to say this but I think after remaking the first 4 games they should close the book on the Silent hill series, it would be a good closure to have these wonderful remakes as a final release, I just have a hard time seeing any more “original “ entries happening since they have done that and it’s all failed, unless of course they could get the original team to come together for new games but that seems unlikely.

I also fell victim to this. the cryptic one in the safe replaced the lost and found one. I wasted 4 hours of my life just to then get that realization ..

I would love to see the originals ported on current consoles, a remake of Silent Hill 1 first, then 3, and the next ones. I would love to see new titles for Silent Hill as well. And thank you for getting my interest in Silent Hill back with your videos.

I think Capcom is ashamed of their classic survival horror games. It took GOG a lot of convincing to remaster the classic trilogy. They're so stingy.

I was thinking the same thing. Thankfully I owe all 3 Dino crisis games with my PS3 still hooked up and my OG Xbox hooked up. So at least I can still play it. But yea thinking Sony is seeing people are just buying the games once and having them rather than signing up for the premium service. I know I am I've been grabbing a psp game here, a ps2 game there, and a psone game over there. I just grabbed ghosthunter on the PS2 from the store this past week. I won't keep my games locked behind a service.

£120 for a yearly subscription plan to playstation premium for an old ps1 game that they sold on the ps3 US store a long time ago. I'd rather haul out my ps3 to play this or just use an emulator.

i am not a rich man, i am a very ''budget friendly'' kind of gamer on both consoles and pc, but even i calculated that u get more value for your $ in choosing Premium and u also need to wait for that sweet %33 discount. honestly between these classic games and the psvr2 games ? i got my money's worth back in like 2 to 3 months and i am glad and will always go premium because u really need to do the maths on this one, only a sucker goes extra. anw, i tried it today, i am shocked how good it still looks, i only wished there were trophies with it.
