What does it look like dead on?
While firing? Probably scary I can try and get some footage after a string of fire though
Through a bunch of different weapon systems, suppressed and unsuppressed I ring the best way is a super soft spring with regular light carbine buffer (3.8oz) and a superlatives arms adjustable gas block, I can make damn near any rifle shoot soft (that’s all about spring and lightweight buffer). SA has 16 adjustments from closed to fully open. Then, another 32 adjustments allowing gas to escape forward out of the block, instead of towards your face. They are simple and parts are replaceable. For $75…it’s the best answer. And you won’t get stuck with a weapon that won’t work without its can.
Just curious, are the bushes 150 yards or 110 yards?
I think I mean to say 115 that other time listening back to it I definitely didn’t say that haha I checked them later at 105
Great drills!
What carbon fiber handguard is that!
jk just got to that part of the video
I’ve been searching for some type of clip or something to do this with a mossberg 590 but this looks so much better lol
Just bought one
Williams Laura Lewis Daniel Jackson Lisa
I definitely recommend the Rearden flash hiders. Cherry Bomb sucks ass and Fuck Q.
Heavy fill pint size is 5 pounds, I haven’t actually weighed mine but that’s what Armageddon gear says on the page
Maybe mine was wet but it was a heavy boy
The reason I have caps is to keep the dust off my glass. A hole ( even a small one) seem counter productive.
Ok so my paper cut didn't need a tq?
Did you mention manufacturer?
Rhytec industries
Fortune cookie waxed canvas for me. It grabs props like nothing else.
What size did you get
I love you
Thanks
The Wiebad fortune cookie is better than all of these
I might pick one up to compare
Everybody loves capitalism until it’s time to buy something…
Mind me asking how much that particular version of the sr25 cost you?
Around 5k or so back In the day
Is there a mount that’ll bring the iray up to 2.26? I run my rds on a unity riser.
I would put the mount on a unity eotech riser I see a lot of people doing that
I have always been taught that with the game changer on narrow props like bars, fences, even 2x4s that it should be mountains up. Very weird but the mountains up gets it super flat on very narrow props
Yeah on super narrow stuff like chair backs and poles it works well depending on how full your bag is I should have mentioned thay
Great Review Brother
Thanks for the info. what rifle you using?
Here it’s a knights armament sr25 apc
@@Recce_randyis there a video of the rifle from you? Your experience with it
Yeah I have an older one way back but I’ve been working on a more comprehensive review 308 is expensive so it’s taken some tine
The price isn't the issue for me it's the availability.. and no sense in driving yourself crazy trying to find one when LWRC exists..
Ayyy i shot this match as well!! SRO is elite for sure!! Enjoying the content man, i just subscribed
Man im glad i came across this video and these comments. Ive seriously considered getting a dwx for uspsa and had a guy wanting to trade me a dwx compact which i was considering. After watching and reading comments, ill pass. Unless you want to sell that one if its fixed 😅 the fde looks dope. Funny side note, the match footage you used was actually my first uspsa match ever. I run a 5 inch platypus in uspsa now and highly recommend it!! Maybe ill see ya at a match some time!
Good video
I’m thinking when red stuff comes out.
Nice man is it uncomfortable when c-clamping it the hand guard?
Not really just wider
@@Recce_randy thank you
Good info 👍
What website sells the black ones?
They were imported no us models can’t get them anymore it’s the p falcon 640
Can you put this on a Harris bipod?
Yes with a bipod adapter like the one made by arisaka
Is this the best mounting system in your opinion?
I like it the most from what I’ve used
Which suppressor are you using in this video? It’s so quiet!
Silencerco saker 556k
@@Recce_randy if you could trade it 1:1 for any other silencer of similar pricing or below, would you trade it or keep it?
@@swnick8467 I would go flow through so hux, a velos or something similar
what are your thoughts on the mpx copperhead with the shorter barrel? I was looking at it just because it was an even smaller package. I already have a .556 SBR but thought about going with a super small pcc
Do you use Magpods on all your PMAGs?
Not all maybe 8 or so
2 questions, pretty big commitment. So now a year later, DTNVS-MG or RNVG-A? And would you just bite the bullet and get L3 tubes if you had to do it all over?
Honestly the katana housing stuff looks cool but doing it over id probably get 31s
All I’m hearing is long wait times, proprietary, poor long term serviceability options…where do I sign up?
My 13.9 mid of course. 70yrs.shot em. Soft w flat wire & 3.75 buf 5.56 w Rosco the hound. I'm old I really like it for th $$$$$.
A ctr with the bottom shaved off and more polymer at top… I’ll stick with b5 If it’s PRS or DMR, way better stocks available
Id say get thr platypus. Clpse to the same price depending on options and even the unpaid reviews seem really stoked bout iy. I want one of the DWXs but not if its gonna shit the bed wit no support
Interesting how you uploaded this video as I was contemplating an “unobtanium” slick chest rig vs an inverted bandoleer 😅
Is it a good time to inform you that you can acquire a knockoff airlite harness for a quarter of the price of the authentic version?
What would you recommend buying first - nods or RH25? Think from a more suburban or rural perspective
Depends on what you want to do I find the rh25 more useful for hunting from a fixed position the nods are more useful for walking around and hunting if you’re walking around
@@Recce_randy I’m actually considering this for a more SHTF scenario
@@blackwolfresearch1294 I’d buy a pvs 14 first then look into thermal later
SUNNY D!!
The beverage of champions
Ive liked my husky leather palmed gloves. You can probably pull the branding off the back and then they are black with dark leather palms
I’ll check them out thanks
The way you have your chest rig set up will make it really hard for you to go prone without opening it! Your gear should be on your sides and the rear as history has demonstrated. You would do better with a old LBE or a battle belt with suspenders. Maybe you should try crawling around on the ground with that chest rig to see how it does??? LOL.
Well 1 it opens… and 2 I wear packs with waist belts those don’t integrate well with normal lbe also I’m not planning on crawling around a bunch when I’m messing around in the woods pig hunting
@@Recce_randy Good thing the pig's don't shoot back!!! LOL. I'm curious... do the pig's talk to you on the radio too???
May come as a surprise but some of us have friends but have fun training for whatever you wanna do
@@Recce_randy Oh so now you're a pig hunter!!! LOL. So your not really a tactical shooter anymore your a hog shooter??? Well I hope the hog's don't shoot back at you! LOL. Maybe someday you'll figure out your stuff is sticking out too far when the bullet's are flying!!!
@@Recce_randy Oh so now you're a hog hunter!!! LOL. So your not really a tactical shooter anymore your a hog shooter??? Well I hope the hog's don't shoot back at you! LOL. Maybe someday you'll figure out your stuff is sticking out too far when the bullet's are flying!!!
To borrow from some current terminology, besides your normal attack/defend, there are also “movement to contact” (laymen’s terms: go in said direction and see what’s there), and a “meeting engagement” where both sides essentially run into one another and whoever reacts faster has the advantage (and usually wins).
Good way to describe it sadly my more realistic use case is wondering around the woods and then shooting drills
Only thing that sucks about a split front is running a pistol sucks with it.
True but if I’m wearing this there’s like a 90 percent chance I won’t have a pistol ob
@@Recce_randy I use mine for hunting. Can hold my first aid and binos in my GP pouches and my thermal monocular and other crap in my SPUD pouches.
0:35 as soon as I heard "Head On" my caveman brain screamed "apply directly to the forehead" anyone else remeber that nightmare of a commercial. Also great video man, I love seeing why other people chose one piece of equipment over another!
thanks for the ptsd flashback XD
Good ol' LBE.
