I did it, it was ridiculously cool! You're right the cameras don't do it justice, its literally like floating in space surrounded by stars!

Videos like this have been cited by cave diving organizations for making this cave dive seem like it is not dangerous. 1 highly experienced diver was killed there recently because the current was so strong that it removed his mask and pinned him to the ceiling so that he could not swim nor breath. This cave is no joke.

TERRIBLE for the environment. Its non toxic to us but the chemicals in it are toxic to the environment and theres a bunch of microplastics in glowsticks. I will never again participate in it. Also dont bring a camera if you do participate, i have 3 spots where the glow juice bonded to my lens and will not come off

I dove this spot. Nice clear water. There is a point at the mid point to not go further.

Can you snorkel back down from the drop off ?

I did a dive there it was dirty. .. I wouldn't suggest diving there. You will be disappointed. All of the Tue crap they put in the water has attracted alge to grow on it . Kid jumping and splashing in the spring, making the water murky. Not to mention people drinking and and pissing in the water. . And not getting out of the spring to use the restroom there is alot of trash on the bottom. Hair ties etc.

Many of the artificial reef structures at Blue Heron Bridge were built by REEF CELLS. They have built reef structures for FWC, NOAA, UM, DARPA, ORA etc. in the Fl Keys, Miami, Ft Lauderdale, Palm Beach, Barbuda, Antigua and other sites.

I hate seeing this, when i was a kid very few people knew about this spot, now its posted on youtube, it’s now crowded lobsters-have been picked over all because you want to make a video so you can feel important. Best kept secrets are ruined this way

Not worth it because of the stupid rules they've in place for scuba diving in the winter with the manatees you should be able to touch them and interact, not wait by a boardwalk with binoculars just to see them.. Plus that cave is really the only cool thing about that park, but free springs are way better.

I went to this place around 99 2000 and loved it. I hope to go back someday.

Don’t need to advertise public places man , they are too crowded already. If people can’t figure it out for themselves then they don’t need to be there . Exploiting all our places for sone you tube likes and money .
