What a gorgeous routine ❤

She was the absolute queen of the illusion turn, no one comes close. It’s such a shame that injuries- and idiotic coaching- ended her career so prematurely.

I think she contended for a medal at 2013 worlds, Maybe AA and definitely Gold on BB. Unfortunate that she hadn't had that many international performances !

Wish her Olympic experience had gone better, she was a wonderful gymnast. I hope she finds great joy these days in that silver medal though- it’s still an incredible accomplishment.

Jesus I miss Grishina so much, she shouldve had a way more succesful career. she couldve made rio at the young age of 20!! Quenn of twisting :)

Christine still can identify class and talent with Grishina. Same here - she was such a beautiful gymnast with impeccable form and elegance. It was just too bad she was hampered by injuries.

The cirque du soleil choreographers can kiss these gymnasts’ asses….they aren’t training and competing these routines and some were never even gymnasts or coaches….why are they deciding the code?!

The commentator wasn't criticizing Grishina, he was criticizing the new rule (in 2013) of not standing and breathing in the corner, suggested to FIG by Cirque du Soleil; so, some gymnasts just stand before get in the corner instead. The rule was ridiculous.

THE COMMENTATOR IS AN IDIOT AIRHEAD...

Her twisting form in that triple is just ridiculously good. The kind of form that makes you say, “really? Are you serious?” It’s crazy we all know what perfect twisting form is: legs straight and together, toes pointed, but rarely do we see a gymnast perform it with the perfection that Grishina does.

I have to really give it to her...she had such incredible twisting technique. So gorgeous in the air. The commentator is way too harsh and a bit nasty.

Boooooring. The whole thing is like, "Excuse me while I huff my way through this next part." What happened to the Grishina of 2010? Bland choreography, no timing, no endurance, shoddy landings - ugh.
