What are using to to pour it on ?thewall
Tidy job l have done hundreds of metres of wet dash and always used a 4 man squad like you Nice to see someone keeping this traditional type of plastering going I am a77 year old retired plasterer
Love it mate.... Screed lines, sand/cement, old school. ❤ Do you ever put hydrated lime in with the top coat, helps with any movement (no crackage) and beautiful to float up
Most dot and dab plaster board to the reveals, and use a plaster thin coat bead to the angle after rendering coat for a sharper angle?.
What is your technik for finish? Im french,
Just measure the window
The Irish are the best but of the Irish the northern Irish are the best tbh
Great job fellas, all left handed spreads,
What is the mix for ready mixed wet dash
AWESOME 😊😊😊
Great job done miles of it
Always found it easier to float and set with making screeds. But hey the wall i looks oretty straight and no need for the fuck around of screeds. Great work, and great staffing off
Perfect. This is a dying skill.
very nice top notch workmanship
Where u get that square from to do the reveals ? The adjustable one ?
Looks lovely gear mark 👍
Lovely work lads..
Hey do you sponge your finish or nap what sponge do you use?
If you'd have kept ruling it like that with the old browning on thermalite blocks it would have torn to fuck😂
Old School love it beer crate on a plank over the stairwell 👌
That said Very nice work
Surely you would do the plinth after the wall above . All your gears gone go all over your lovely finish
Water would run between wall and base and blow ,need wall to run down to base so water runs off ,different to when you have a bell bead
Totally agree, Ella. Any render you drop finishing the wall above will fall all over your lovely finished plinth.
Loving the lads top 🇬🇧🇬🇧
what an amazin finish,
Nice to see sand and cement render most so called plasterers can't do float and set they would dot and dab plasterboard and skim. 👍
Don't you use render beads in Ireland 😂
Top drawer
Sorry but the music is too loud and drowns out your narration.
Four men on about 20 sq metres 😂😂😂😂😂
Why struggle if you have the man power
What's the point in going over the scrim? I've only seen 1 coat plasterers do that. You lay it on thin too, I'd love to see it in the sunlight.
They passed over it twice
To cover the scrim and avoid any hollows if it’s tapered edge. You’re clearly either not a plasterer, or uninformed. It’s a skim coat, of course it’s going on thin, 3mm is the ballpark figure
Miss the old days where the first things that were applied to the wall were render plumbed screeds. Nice though to see you picking up the mud from the front of the hawk.
Proper plastering , old school
Claaa job lads
Top class
You could do with another few boys 😮😮
3 stone 2 sand 1 cement ? Would you add 1 lime ?amazing video 💪🏼😎👍
Quality work… red trousers ain’t dropped owt!. Reaching too!… great spread . Impressed 🔥
I see you boys are all left handed rare to see this . Tidy work
Top channel should make more videos, lad know what he's at
Do yous lads not use external beads ? Or do you just return your edges ?
This one was wet dashed so we just used rules. Anything else its beaded Stephen.👍
Well done mucker🥊
Sweet Workmanship 👏 👏👏
Can this be done over render if it has Dried off. Thank you
Work looks perfect
Great video . ❤
Beautiful work. Top class.
Beautiful job
Do u use mortar mix in your top coat and no waterproofer? Do u just use water proofer in your scratch? Great work thanks
Yeah usually just mortar mix in topcoat Andrew. If it’s not getting painted straight away we would put waterproofer in or if we’re doing a big panel waterproofer holds it back a bit.👍
Tidy work lads 🥊
