As we’ve gotten more advanced in age, we’ve come to realize that it’s not good to just sit around doing nothing. There is a time for rest, peace and being still. But you’ve got to live your life with movement whether physically or geographically. Emotionally and intellectually, too, of course…you can’t be stagnant.
So this channel is just a place to document our life events, knowing we enjoy being on the go, doing stuff. Yes, we have our sofa moments but we try to always have things to do. And this channel is just our way of making sure we remember all the stuff we’ve done…
Hoping that it spreads joy, keeps good memories, becomes informative and provides some entertainment. Lots of videos about mountain biking or cycling in general, since that's the activity we enjoy the most. But we also chronicle our vacations and adventures with the family and friends.

Rail Cycle family fun
Labor Day 2024 and we decided to do this activity where you pedal a 4 person contraption up and down an abandoned railway. Honestly I thought it would be more scenic but not really. Pedaling for a mile and a half through some countryside wasn’t really touristy but our fun was more about doing it as a family, having an excuse to hang out, drive somewhere, do something we’ve never done before and grab a bite to eat afterwards. Lots of laughter along the way…and an actual workout (about 15 minutes of cardio) to go with it. Good thing the weather was cool.

Two more days to tour Madrid and we decided to go to Toledo to see what the fuss was about. Despite having had limited sites to visit, it was a memorable trip. Coming back in the afternoon to some good old food trips was also unforgettable, as were the journeys in between sites. Take a look!
2024 Summer Family Cruise Dinner

Just a quick video highlighting our Family Dinner Cruise. This was a summer highlight and was requested by the wifey as her gift - she just wanted to spend the day with the family. It was a gorgeous day out on Lake Union and Lake Washington and we thoroughly enjoyed just spending the whole afternoon with each other.

So after our trip to Cordoba, the next destination was a city on the Mediterranean - the beach town of Malaga. We stayed in and explored the historic city center, took an eBike tour to get a little bit aways to the beach side and sample many of the restaurants and food choices in the area. Init…🥵 Kaya we couldn’t stand in the lines. Maybe when the weather is cooler and less people. But is there ever a time of the year when it’s not this crowded?
The crowd is almost always like that, sometimes worse especially during Tsinoy holidays. If I remember correctly, you even went on a weekday, so that's even less crowded at that. When I used to go to Binondo for work, during lunch I would explore and find "unknown" restaurants like a hole-in-the-wall type or one that is not crowded BUT where a lot of residents go to for take-out/to go/delivery and usually they would have the cheapest and yummiest food (but don't go looking for clean rest rooms there or super polite staff, just regular turo-turo service).

Thanks for the observation. But it's a go pro set at wide mode...I think the problem was the angle,a little too high so you don't see a lot of the trail. I'll be more conscious next time.

There are lots - St. Edwards/Finn Hill nearby, down south you've got Black Diamond Open Space, and within driving distance, there's Gig Harbor 360 TRails, Swan Creek Trail in Tacoma, Dash Point State Park in Federal Way...downloap the Trailforks app or just to to their website and you'll find all of them.
