This time they're promoting their "By The Light Of The Moon" album but instead do "Let's Say Goodnight," the opening track from their first English language record from 1983. Buck Owens TV Show - Another Full Episode from August 1970 - Don Rich, Hee Haw!!!

Here's another full episode of the Buck Owens (TV) Show from August of 1970, featuring amazing live performances from Buck and his great band. I think you can see the influence of Buck's starring role on Hee Haw on what was a tight, rocking TV show. He's a little more corny now, a little more soft on this later show. Still a great chance to see Buck and Don in their prime.

Jerry Lee Lewis - Greatest Live Rock & Roll - Shindig Appearances 1964-65!!
Переглядів 45 тис.2 роки тому
Here are 8 amazing live TV appearances by Jerry Lee Lewis on Shindig from 1964-65. Jerry Lee is positively spitting fire in these clips with insane backing from the Shindig band, including a great Jerry Cole and a mean-ass attitude that only Jerry Lee could get away with. Includes Mean Woman Blues, High School Confidential, Great Balls of Fire, Long Tall Sally, I Believe In You, Whole Lotta Sha...
The Clingers Story: The First All Girl Rock & Roll Band!!

This is a well-done documentary about the Clinger sisters and their career in the 1960s as a pop group as told by the three living sisters. Production values are a little less than Hollywood standards, but I've never seen the sisters interviewed before about their lives, so this is a real treasure for fans of the band. Great clips and interviews, too. Enjoy!

Lost LA TV Show "Groovy" with Michael Blodgett From 1967
The Clingers were the best girl rock group and the very first as well!!
Very rare 1967 TV show, lots of ladies wearing awesome bikini bathing suits in this Groovy lost gem!!
@11:33 heartbreaking how he looks away. White artists have stolen music from Black creators since forever.
Crappy quality!
Gene Vincent always does it for me .The Screaming End.😮
Sammy Pruett on guitar
The Clingers aka The Clinger Sisters made REAL Rock 'n' Roll. Their niece lived in the apartment below ours in Orem, Utah - so we got to meet her beautiful blonde aunt (a Clinger Sister). I know my R&R History, but had no idea who The Clingers were. Then, I saw their fantastic Smothers Brothers appearance on UA-cam - and remembered it from my teen years! Thankfully, I got to tell her about it.
Jerry in blond hair is great !!!
This is Beechnut saturday nite in NYC.
Carl and pasty were great.😅
Go cat go!
❤❤❤❤❤❤
👍
Rockabilly music will live forever and keep on Rocking wherever you are !
Roger Miller was top billing!
the Luther years were the best.
Gordon was one of the most talented musicians to ever hit Nashville. Almost Alone displays such voice quality and control it's hard to imagine Gordon didn't achieve more recognition than he did. May he rest in peace.
I talked my Dad into taking me to see Groovy. I was 8. The bands that day were Buffalo Springfield and the Electric Prunes. The psychedelic painted KHJ-TV production truck was really cool. Quentin Tarantino had it recreated for the premiere of Once Upon A Time...In Hollywood. RIP Michael Blodgett.
I spent a week hanging out with the Clingers in 1967 when I worked at the warwick musical theater in RI. and they were with Robert Goulet. Great girls , full of energy.
📽 Anyone out there have any film of Groovy, '67 featuring The Peanut Butter Conspiracy, The Sunshine Company, The Looking Glass? Thanks! 🎶

These are four gorgeous ladies in this 1969 American Bandstand classic gem!!

Stray Cats. Are. Not. Rockabilly
That was so awesome
Gyad Dang. What a treat, no, a treasure. The talent, the quality, fantastic. A new fav on repeat. Thank you for sharing this GEM.
Always ask myself who fine this name. Rockabilly. And if it was he name of this music in the fifties in US
How did you get the episode
Bob Luman Superstar der Country Music.
These Ranch shows were so much better when they wore their suits and Tom was still with them.
Why did they quit wearing the suits and looking so professional? I really missed that. I thought it was classy. Don made pink look good.
I want to thank you for this wonderful program love ❤️ it.
What a beautiful singer and a handsome man ❤.
he was decades ahead...
"Groovy" was strictly an LA show, and I had no idea who Michael Blodgett (1939-2007) is/was. The Minneapolis native initially became a tv actor as early as 1961, appearing in "McHales Navy," "The Munsters," "Bonanza," "Night Gallery," and "Barnaby Jones." By 1965 he took on film roles in "Beyond the Valley of the Dolls," and "Disco Fever." During the summer of 1967 he hosted "Groovy" that aired on KHJ-TV9 in LA. When he retired from acting he turned to writing screenplays and novels. Michael also made some recordings for Capitol Records. He was married four times, with his most recent wife being actress Meredith Baxter (Birney). Michael died from a heart attack at age 68 in 2007..
Any one know if the Collins kids are Tommy Collins kids.
Nope - no relation - would have been a cool family though! There's some good Tommy C. clips on the Buck Owens TV show clips that I have posted. He was great!
okay. there were too many Girl groups to name.. they were NOT the first.. I was in Wild Honey/Fanny and the California Girls in 65 we opened for name acts and toured too.. but then everyone thinks they were first. lol.. I think Goldie and the Gingerbreads was the first.. except for the all girl jazz bands of the 40s
Her voice sounds like a child singing adult words. Very innocent
Better Than Elvis, A Real Rocker, Just Love His Music, Also Like His Later Country MUSIC😊😊
...W.P
I felt sorry for the Black guy at 11:52 as he states that Elvis stole his song. Knowing what happened to Little Richard too it is genuinely possible must say that this guy is telling the truth.
Great stuff, except for the talentless Hager Brothers and Buddy Allen.
I know -- they're tough to watch!
You're both wrong.
Omg thank you for posting this video 🙏🏻🙏🏻. I love Skeeter Davis 👏🏻👏🏻
💎Marty Robbins💎 Love him very much!!!❤❤❤

Those outfits!
And what’s wrong with the outfits?
@@michaelrochester48 Oh, I dunno....maybe the billowy and flowery shirts with the brown "vests" (I don't know what else to call them). I much prefer the Buckaroos outfitted in sparkly Nudie suits. By this time (1970) they were trying too hard to fit in with the times and it just does not look authentic ---- it looks laughable.
I wish they had let Debbie finish her story about the Spahn Ranch
