I love this wheel. I've had mine for years. Yeah it's cheap and has no force feedback, but it works with every console and literally every game because it just emulates a Bluetooth controller over USB. I have another racing sim too, but sometimes you just want to use a wheel in GTA 4 on the Xbox 360 emulator.

I will going to installate win 10 on the same mac u have but i have 8GB RAM, but what i knew it need a usb stick, my machine directly install it and even wanted me to remove the USB Stick. just Problem is the SSD is so small from that Mac, of i like Win10 on my mac then maybe i buy a external SSD.

I have 3 of those and they are so usable. They’re so light, made like tanks and batteries are cheap and easy to replace. C’mon Apple make them fixable like you use to make them. I love my old macs

On my 2015 macbook air I upgarded it with a generic 256gb nvme ssd and one of those adapters and it worked just fine. I never even heard of this brand but it works very well and it's never given me one little problem.

Is it still worth it if I only need it for airplay?

Bought this back in 2022 (3070ti version) and have actually really enjoyed it. Granted, I don’t use it as a daily driver (have a Mac mini at work) and use this mostly as a Fortnite machine plus a work machine during travel. I actually find the keyboard super comfortable to type on, and is probably my best and most comfortable typing experience. It can run very hot when gaming, the screen could be brighter, and I sort of regret not going with the g14, as the g15 is just a smidge too big for comfortably taking around in a bag daily, which is why it either stays at home or at work. But generally, really still like the non-gamer look, the keyboard feel, and its overall vibes. But maybe not the model I would purchase in 2024.

In the 70's an 80's Sansui was some of the best audio equipment available, under Harmon Kardon and Macintosh (not the computer lol). I still have my full Sansui system from the 80's

I have a mac bok pro to from 2012 i patch it whit Catalina and it wok very good and i have this to the mac book air from Early 2015...i dont know if you knoe that Mac book air after 2015 was not Good in many way so the 2015 you can say we where lucky to have it...When i saw you talk abour ssd i did not know you nead that extra connector that was nice to know because i will order a bigger ssd..Batery is 8 hours but it not seams to be so long so i will order that to,,This mac book air is enough for me..Forgott to tell i have 8 giggabyte ram memory in my and that is ok it work well whit 8 gigg

Actually the bottleneck is ram not CPU if you're doing daily task. I bought my early i5 4gb macbook air back to China for a ram upgrade. 16gb cost me around 50USD for part & labor, and it really worth the price! Now everything is sooo smooth in latest Monterrey. Ram usage is around 7.5 gb out of 16. CPU usage is around 30%~60%, which is prefectly for daily tasks

I have a 2017 apple tv A1842 that will NOT play my Flickr app videos. Flickr support says it will play videos using apple tv and the flickr app. So far they haven't been able to help me. I noticed you have Flickr app in your video. Does it play videos within your Flicker Page?

you mentioned that the ONLY real reason is for AIR play.... just wondering if AIRPLAY is affected by more recent versions of APPLE TV... does it? or all run the same at the same speed?. eg. Apple TV gen 1 non-4k and Apple TV 4K.

I use a 3rd gen Apple TV in my shop where I use it to stream audio only. This is a great option compared to other streamers. The digital audio output requires a DAC to attach to an audio receiver. I don't watch TV so the other drawbacks don't bother me.

Just finished setting one up with a projector. Works like a charm plus you get decent sound too. Can’t do it with fire stick. You control all from a phone and just cast to big screen. Sorry but I disagree with your point(s).

I’m still using my MacBook Air 11-inch early 2015, every day. It has a single i5 processor with dual-core, running at 1.6GHz; and, 8GB of RAM. So far, I have left it at Monterey O/S and haven’t gone for the third-party cheats. It definitely doesn’t like having too many tabs open - but neither does my 2012 iMac desktop. I find I am always using my phone in parallel with my laptop. That is probably telling. With hindsight, I will always go for the highest rated processor from now on. It definitely feels like the processor is the limiting factor with this machine.

I'm currently typing this from a MBA 2015 and I am not finding any of the issues you mentioned here. I can go several hours on battery power.

As much as I love this keyboard, it's become intolerable. Just a few months in, it developed double-press issues, missed key issues and chattering issues. Then I went on to reddit and discovered that these are pretty common issues for these keyboards. If you're not encountering them, then you are probably in an environment where there is no dust. Otherwise most of these problems develop due to dust getting into the key switches. Blowing compressed air into them or contact cleaner solves the problem for a while, but then that stops working too. The only amazing thing about is the lightspeed wireless tech that lets you run this keyboard without ever turning it off for MONTHS on end and no perceivable lag at all. Now I'm looking into printing a custom PCB that can use the lightspeed chip and let me use cherry switches instead.

I'm watching this video with a 2015 MacBook Air so yes: still usable in 2024 for videos, web browsing etc. Oh i forgot: in this one you can replace the battery and the ssd very easily

My husband and I were looking for a new Apple TV, we saw that Walmart had this one for $89 so we bought it thinking it was the newest one. It wasn’t until setting it up that we realized it was the older model and we couldn’t set it up. Hopefully we are able to get our money back to replace it 🫠
