Wonderful BALABAC Island Hopping Expedition - FULL Tour
Exploring the Untouched Paradise of the Balabac Islands
Join me on an unforgettable adventure to the remote and pristine Balabac Islands, a hidden gem at the southern tip of Palawan, Philippines. Known for their stunning coral reefs visible even from space, turquoise blue waters, and powdery white sand beaches, these islands are the epitome of untouched beauty.
In this video:
- The Journey: We start with an early morning pickup in Puerto Princesa, embarking on a 6-hour van ride through scenic landscapes of rice fields, mountains, and grazing buffalo. Brace yourself for a bumpy ride with fast drivers-it’s all part of the adventure! After handling some paperwork at the southern harbor, we set sail on a small fishing boat to our first destinations.
- Canimeran Island: Our first stop is this tiny but breathtaking island, adorned with lush coconut trees and surrounded by crystal-clear waters. The sand here is so fine it feels like flour. We enjoy a delicious lunch prepared by our tour guides and soak in the tropical paradise.
- Patawan Island/Dolphin Island: Another jewel in the Balabac archipelago, Patawan offers pristine beaches and opportunities for snorkeling and swimming. The island is wild and untouched, making it the perfect place to connect with nature.
- Punta Sebaring Camp: We settle into our beachfront camp on Bugsuk Island, choosing between cozy tipi huts or tents right on the sand. With an amazing team of locals cooking our meals and no internet to distract us, we fully immerse ourselves in the island life.
- Onok Island (Day 2 Highlight): Arguably the most stunning spot in Balabac, Onok Island captivates with its expansive sandbars, vibrant coral reefs, and abundant marine life. We snorkel alongside turtles and marvel at giant clams-truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
- Mansalangan Sandbar/Balabac Sandbar & Candaraman Island (Day 3): Witness the spectacle of starfish that dot the sandbar during low tide and explore more incredible snorkeling spots teeming with colourful fish and coral.
- Local Life & Conservation: Learn about the local fishing communities, their sustainable seaweed farming practices, and the efforts to keep Balabac unspoiled. The presence of the military ensures safety due to the islands' proximity to international borders.
Travel Tips:
- Be Prepared: The journey is rough but rewarding. Expect bumpy rides and bring motion sickness remedies if needed.
- Waterproof Essentials: Pack waterproof bags for your valuables and electronics during boat transfers.
- Stay Comfortable: Wear swimwear daily and consider upgrading to a tipi hut for added comfort and access to charging outlets.
- Disconnect to Reconnect: There's no internet at the camp-embrace the digital detox and enjoy the natural beauty around you.
Embark on this adventure with me and discover why Balabac is a must-visit for those seeking untouched paradise and genuine experiences. Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe for more travel escapades!

Sir is your household income 150k dollars a year in Australia? Plz reply in yes or no. Thanks a lot.
Great video! What saws the name of your tour guide company?
Thank You.
Hello, did book before to arrived in palawan? or you booked it in town ? thank you
I tend to always travel last minute and not plan too much but for this one we really needed to book 3 months in advance because as you can see, there are limited boat seats and huts and the tour advised us to book early. It was a good call!
Thank a lot for the sharing, mate..
I've been there❤
It’s amazing!
This makes the hair on my gooch stand up just watching😅
hello marc, ur video is amazingly beautiful….may i ask what month did you visit onok? ✌️😊
Thank you! ☺️ I travelled in January!
@@marccarva wow the weather looks pretty perfect in January! I’m planning to visit Onok next year, thanks for the travel tips 👍😎😊
wow, so beautiful 😊
I loved the entire journey and positivity of your travel here in the Philippines babe ❤
Thank you! 😊
I’m wondering the name of the tour company and how to reach them? Thanks!
The Wander Walkers
Wow!
Watch out for snakes there are many.
I love Hanoi. I need to go again with more time.
I’m sure it’s changed a lot since this video!

Meat Pies!
So Australia still is a prison colony then 😂
4:10 Wut? I'm sorry, but that's bullsh-t. Where did you get THAT from?
It would be nice to see how much is it to settle in Sydney. Under settle I mean to buy a house in a good suburb within 8 km from the CBD, private school fees for 2 children, all day child care for 1 child.
Could be a possibility if both parents are working in the healthcare sector
This was great, thanks for your transparency on all of this!! :)
10:08 that did not age well…😂
1:32 no Australia has no gastronomic identity
Sydney is a place where I feel very lonely… people are superficial and if you were not born rich or with property wealth you have no future…..
When I first came to Australia in 2002, I was told it would cost approximately $900 per person per week. That was quite scary. But when I looked the details, it involved expenses on liquor, travel, buying take away food, and entertainment. You would want to spend money on these probably when you are well settled. Things have become expensive, but incomes have also grown up.
new subs from PH ❤
Thanks! 😊 I love your country
Hawaii is only 9 hours from Sydney! And super cheap to get to via jet star.
You can change a light globe but not touch the wiring. The early closing hours were in a restricted area because too many uncontrolled idiots drank and partied too much causing far too many accidents and hospital or ambulance visits.
Yeah. He's being horribly misleading about light bulb changing.
Please deleate your account
Hello Mr.marc
Jones Paul Hernandez Mary Thompson Shirley
- You do not need an electrician to change a light glob or florescent tube. To instal a new light fitting you do, but I’m not going to be fiddling around with any wires. I’ll leave that to the professionals. - Re pubs, staff are prohibited by law from serving someone who is clearly intoxicated. This would be where they are unsteady, loud, aggressive, bothering other customers, etc. But if someone is just enjoying a night out and not making a nuisance of themselves, no worries. Drink driving laws are strict, more-so than the UK or most US States but comparable to most of Europe. - It is very difficult to get a restaurant meal after 8:30-9:00 PM in Sydney unless it’s McDonalds or other takeaway, impossible in places where most people live. Maybe Kings Cross or touristy areas. - And yes, you’ve disclosed something we don’t tell the tourists - it rains a lot in Sydney, more so in recent years. Summer is cloudy, humid and wet much of the time. One thing, the year 2022, when this video was made, was Sydney’s wettest year ever. Sydney’s sunniest weather is normally late Winter / early Spring. It’s why we held the “Summer” Olympics in September. As for Cricket, I think it’s just a matter of time before the idea of a Sydney Test Match in January is abandoned.

I would agree with most of this, as I lived in Sydney for six years until 2001. Traffic was really bad back then; now it is absolutely hideous! (We visited a friend there on the weekend.) Add hot AND humid summers (when aircon is ESSENTIAL), plus *ridiculous* housing prices (either buying or renting), and I would NEVER move back - even IF I could afford to do so. I sold my TINY terrace house in Newtown for $320K; it is now 'worth' $1.8 million, for just 87 square metres! Possibly because you can walk to the local train station (if it isn't pouring rain) where most of the trains don't stop. The few which do are inevitably packed already. I moved to Canberra and have been MUCH happier ever since. If we want to see a show, we fly to Melbourne. If we fly overseas, we transfer through Melbourne - just a short stroll between terminals. The few things Sydney has going for it, simply aren't worth the major hassles and expenses of going there or living there. (EG: $45 for parking at the Opera House, and $113 for drinks and a snack at the Opera Bar after; let alone the tickets for the show.)
Hall Melissa Garcia Timothy Young Sarah
Five million people love living in Sydney. You are a very spoiled expat. Can't imagine you would be happy living anywhere.
Great Job.. Precise.. It's getting expensive and hard to save money.. also once you've lived here over 30 years it's boring and was good in the 80's & 90's.. When Kings Cross was alive Sydney was Fantastic
Rents are way higher now and so are groceries and since this video the population has increased
Lol. Sydney is terrible.
Flores is majority Christian over 70%
Davis David Rodriguez Sandra Wilson Kimberly
What suburb doesn't have at least a bus? There are also services like Keoride (at call minibuses). All on Opal Card except Keoride. You have trains, trams, metros, buses, min-buses, ferries, water taxis, bicycles, electric bikes and scooters. That it takes an hour (or more) to get into the city from an outer suburb is because of the distance.
As a Sydney resident I can confirm that the night life is shit.
Australian is not isolated. It is far closer to the Valeriepieris circle (a figure drawn on the Earth's surface such that the majority of the human population lives within its interior - which is south East Asia) than Europe, the Americas or Africa.
Not enough Aussie Rules Football in Sydney.

Beautiful! Thanks for sharing it to the world. New subs here. Australia is on my bucket list. Someday.
Sydney is a great city if you could afford the property cost
