New Wrap Reveal For The F, Last Car Meet Of The Year 2023, 350z Catches on Fire🔥
Finally some F content, these cars don't get enough love. Just fyi for longevity try to fill her up above at least a quarter tank, your high pressure fuel pumps get a lot more wear and tear from heat when the car runs with low gas.
How do your needles still work with 200k on the clock. My needles have a gap on them.
Something about Night drive POV hits the spot, even more when it’s a Lexus lol. New sub, hopefully you reach your goals🙏 wanna get myself a 2is
Thanks man, I appreciate the support, if you’re getting a 2IS it’s gotta be either a 350 or F, ignore the rest😂
Love your ride
Thanks man, I appreciate it
is that the VLINE system?
Yes it is, 10/10 would recommend
Hey man my isf is coming sometime this week have any idea anytging i should fix right away apart from the dash recall which i think mines already had done it has 110k
The go-to is Valley Plate leak, Lower control arm bushings, dash panels, other than that they’re really mechanically sound
im at around 110k miles with mine too and all i got done so far was lower control arm bushings (heavy recommend), ball joints, and water pump.
Congrats bro, love the ISF you in the Bay Area?
Thanks man I appreciate it, and no I’m in the SoCal Area
經典
BEAUTIFUL
Thank you I appreciate it
2010 ISF here with 135k miles. The most I got was 32 MPG. I average 23 however because... v8. Ive had mine 5 years & still running down 392s & SS
bro, mines constantly around 17-18, the best I got was 27 which is what they claimed...I was in constant wonder that maybe my car's got some problems.
I average about 19-21 city/highway driving unless I want to have some fun😂
What camera is that for your POV?
I use a GoPro Hero 10 black
He knew he would lose. I would say I wouldn't waist the fuel, but I would have done the same in my F.
Idk, he had the HP advantage but I guess not the weight advantage
@FFamilyLB FBO ISF is about 500hp crank. That Sq8 is almost 6000lbs.
hey that is LS430 . It is 3rd generation 4.3 V8 280hp . LS 460 is 4th gen. and it was 4.6 V8 380hp
Oh my bad, I got the models confused🤙🏾
That ain’t no 460 lol
Oh my bad, I got the wrong model🤙🏾
I’m in socal too I did the same radio led swap shit is sick. Glad to see other ISF have this setup
Yea definitely modernizes the interior a lot
This Tuesday at the old Macdonalds in Downey theres a SoCal Supra meet, a guy named Manny (isfmanny) is going to bring is ISF im taking my ISF as well. You should come down.
Oh hell yea I’m down, ISFManny is the homie, can you send me the flyer or info on my IG?
@@FFamilyLB I DM'd you on your IG about the meet
How long does that wrap last for bro?
Normally a wrap lasts 3-5 years depending on how well kept the wrap is
@@FFamilyLB thank you for answering my questions. Whats usually the cost for a wrap like that?
Congrats on your 200 subs 🥳 I got a question has your isf been good, spaced wise? Does it have potential to be a family car? 🤔
Thanks man I appreciate it, and yea it works for me well, I don’t have kids myself so I rarely use the back seat, it’s more of a sweater storage😂 but when I do use the back seat I have my siblings back there and it works fine, I myself can fit back there and I’m 5’10 240lbs and I’m just a wide person in general, I’ve actually fit 3 in the back when it’s only a two seater😂 it works but for comfortability everyone knows the GSF is the best option
Not really. My kids are crammed in the rear seat. One is 5’9
Hey man, how were you able to add CarPlay to system. I’m curious because my dad has an ISF and I would like to add CarPlay if possible
There’s really 2 ways that are proven to work, I use the Grom Vline which is a module you connect to the car and behind the nav and store that module in your glove compartment and that gives you a factory looking CarPlay the second is the beat sonic route which you fully remove the lower radio portion of the center console and add in an aftermarket double din radio, I do have other videos on my channel about my Vline if you want to check it out🤙🏾
@@FFamilyLB Bet! Appreciate it!
I used to get to Vegas from oc on 3/4 tank. Loved my F but hat to go with a Tesla Model 3 performance. Faster quiet and more modern
Cant stump the performance of those sporty teslas but imo nothing is ever really goanna top that V8 feel and sound
Need me an ISF asap any tips to get quick bread?
Be good at gambling? Or OF?😂 I’m not too sure
Clean
Thank you I appreciate it🤙🏾
Loved my 08’ F! Bought it used at 77k and put 100k trouble-free “hard” miles on it! Only thing that went wrong was front rotors started to have micro fractures but that didn’t happen until 80k miles. Also the touch sensor (digitizer) of screen stopped working. Was a cheap DIY fix but required taking the console apart.
I got mine at 170k and now at 213k with no issues all maintenance and VP leak taken care of at dealer along with new dash and interior panels all around, before I purchased, car runs smooth and is amazing keeping up with cars today still, I haven’t had any issues with the screen yet, the guy I bought it off of did upgrade the screen to a newer year ISF screen and the digitizer before selling to me
Nice! Definitely keep an eye on those rotors for fractures. I used OEM replacements that weren’t branded Lexus and the job wasn’t too expensive. Come to think about it, my dash was starting to “melt” in the heat of summer days in Southern Louisiana.
VERY GOOD LOOKING!
Thank you I appreciate it🤙🏾
250+miles? Have you used fuel clean injector?
Since I’ve owned the car I’ve never used any cleaner, the computer said 250 miles but that’s because it was used to my spirited highway/city driving, but realistically it was closer to 280-290 when I drove it easy and aimed for efficiency, on the way back it was definitely 300+
Oh ok, about to say, enjoy and I hope you never get rid of it.
Yea the computer adjusts according to how it’s driven😂 and I hope not to, if the engine ever goes out I’ll RCF swap/2j/LS swap it
Congratulations
Thank you, I appreciate it
Did an outing in my RCF. Eco doing 70 about 600 ish miles round trip getting 33mpg, second generation 2URGSE and beyond uses the Atkinson Cycle firing order like the Prius without shutting off cylinders when you want to cruise, you want to get rowdy then it’ll switch back to the Otto cycle. 212k is just getting started lol saw one sell on marketplace last year with 394k. Gorgeous ISF dude.
Absolute crazy numbers from a V8, getting turbo 4/6cyl engine numbers😂 and yes if I remember right all 2URs switch between firing cycles but the ISF 2UR isn’t as aggressive on the cycle changes (rewarding) as later Gens, with the ISF they wanted to prove a point that Lexus can change the game they just choose not to😂 I’m sure if Lexus took the BMW approach and went for power with luxury instead of luxury with power, it’ll change the car world forever and thanks man I appreciate it🤙🏾
Most I've done in my ISF was 31mpg on a 380-mile trip. Once I hit the country roads, it dropped a bit.
@FFamilyLB ISF doesn't switch to the Atkinson cycle. That was one if the new features of the RCF.
Old 2008 v8 car still smacking around modern v8s and turbocharged engines
Mine is a 2009 and still breaks hearts😂
You beamed at em, he slowed up for a pull, and you just took off. Don't clown when you clown. If you invite to race, honk it off. Chill with the monkey mopar behavior.
He did lol, you can hear three honks at 8:00
212k n still running that good, there's a reason these used ifs w low miles are costing as much as a newer skatpack charger
Exactly man, continues to surprise me every day
beautiful blue on the F
Thank you man, I appreciate it🤙🏾
SQ8 driver is a clown lol
Honestly, idk if he doesn’t know how to drive it but how do you get reeled in that easily and overtook especially when you’re pushing over 100hp more😂
🔥🔥great vid
Thanks man, I appreciate it
Radio updrade for the AppleCare play please ? O
Factory Nav, running grom vline
Just got my ISF today in blue with 85k on the clock, already in love with it. Keep the vids coming bro 🔥 🔥
Congrats, I have a 2012 blue fbo for the last 6 year and best car I’ve own so far.
I fall in love with my car more and more every day, and thanks man I appreciate your support 🤙🏾
@@impreza2k6 Lucky I'd love a blue. Have a 2011 white for 6 months now but here in Australia there's only under 1100 cars and probably less than 300 2011 and up, currently 28 cars total for sale and 2 blue 08s but I wouldn't get anything but 2011 or higher
ah u lucky mf
Had my 2012 with 60k on the clock for about 4 mos and I can’t get enough of this sound. I’ve hit UEL PPE headers w the valved varex exhaust 👍🏻👍🏻💪🏻
Damn what a car 😮💨 with the amount of miles too, shit is crazy
Yup 213k on the clock getting damn near 30 MPGs on a V8 comfortably with no hiccups, like I said, continues to amaze me
Very dope ride.
Appreciate it
Tidy ISF and nice vid. It’s a shame no one got to drop gears and start evenly. Nonetheless still entertaining little frustrating but still great work. Hope to see more footage 🇦🇺✌️
Thanks for your support🤙🏾
Primer before the paint the clear coat, however it looks nice not sure how long it will last.
GREAT CAR........i love it when people really really love their car.......when i stop for gas im always looking back at my car when i go inside....ive had it for two years and im still like a kid on christmas with that cold start........2018 gsf
Thanks man I appreciate it, and yea I see our cars as a reflection of us, so when it wasn’t 100% because of whoever hit/vandalized my car I did kinda loose that passion to drive it until she was 100% again and GSFs are beautiful big bodies🤙🏾
Yooooo we miss you man. Hope everything is alright over there. Also I need some of your isf wisdom. Should I risk buy a rebuilt title isf 🤔
Thank man, I know I’ve been gone for a bit, life is crazy sometimes, but also I didn’t loose passion to drive my car in the state it was before fixing it, now that she’s perfect again it rekindled that fire🤙🏾 and honestly I would never buy a salvaged car no matter what car it is just because you don’t know if it was fixed properly or who fixed it, or what was broken or replaced, plus in the long run it could cost you more but that’s just me and my opinion about salvaged
Don’t be impatient and end up buying something inferior just because you want to be in an ISF. I waited a couple years to find the right one. Drove over 500 miles one way to look at one to not end up buying it because it didn’t meet expectations. Be patient and get the right one for the right price. If a salvage one is the only one in your price range, I would rather buy a very high mileage one that’s been taken care of but low in price. I waited and it cost me because the price of this car kept going up but finally bit the bullet and couldn’t be happier with my choice.
Hey, im looking at a few ISF’s and I was wondering what I should be paying for a ~100k mile ISF. Also, do you recommend saving money and go for a high mileage or pay more for a lower mileage? Also, are there any major issues that i should be worried about?
100k miles id say mid 20s, if it’s matador or USB then it could be high mid 20s, and honestly mileage is up to you completely, me personally idc about miles, there’s an ISF FBO tuned that has over 420k miles and still pumping strong, these cars are 15+ years old and people are still on the OEM starter, it’s very reliable no matter what’s thrown at it, the only thing that is a known problem is the valley plate leak but by now if the F was driven more than likely it’s been fixed in the past
@@FFamilyLB Okay, thanks for the info
I love that blue man! I wanted that color bad. Nice Car Cuzzi.
Thanks man, I appreciate it🤙🏾
Yo where did u get the carbon fiber overlay for the center console/shifter i hate the white carbkn from oem
I had my wrap guy wrap all the white carbon black carbon
Wow Nice ISF can u tell me whats device r u using for converting lcd apple carplay ...
It’s called a Grom Vline, retains factory controls and everything, I made video about it reinstalling it, super easy and straight forward
How are these VLAND headlights? In terms of cutoff and brightness and how far they project (since they are LED I think)? One of mine suffers too much UV damage and polishing doesn't work anymore, so I'm looking to see for replacement!
Understandable, I had that UV problem on my old 350, the Vlands are great, I love them and the look, funny enough I got mine for 250 “open box” off eBay and they looked brand new when I got them, definitely a good replacement than old OEM, my F did come with Depos that I’m going to eventually retrofit some better/stronger projectors and what not and then throw those back on, cut off is good, very bright, lights up everything, imo the high beams are a let down when using the highs, some have better throw with their highs, I did have the overall raise both headlights when I first got them but ever since them they been perfect for me
@@FFamilyLB Thanks for the feedback! Hard to tell the high beam in video because you'd need more than a few feet to tell the output and what it might look like on the actual road. I assume you are talking about the leveling of the light when you said "raise both headlights", did you mean you have to kind of prop up the headlights a bit since they don't fit in the OEM bracket properly?
Yea no problem and the cut off is good I don’t think I used my highs at all in the video but yea I meant raising them by adjusting the leveler, they fit in the OEM bracket perfectly, I always get compliments from other vland owners about how much better my vlands output is, 10/10 would recommend, and I would say if you can and are able to, to have the DRL low beam bulb turned off so you won’t get the flicker anymore and will just have the DRL check mark when driving with the DRLs on
i have the smoked reflector you're looking for, lmk if you want it just pay for shipping. JDM too, nice IS F!
Appreciate it bro, where you located?
@@FFamilyLB nj, it is the smoked reflector that light up
Okay 1.. That last blue clip should def "click" in and 2. .... That def isn't weatherstripping lol tf? if you are gonna claim to be a car guy you don't want to be like out around actual car guys & the girlfriends & you are goin on about how you did this sweet mod by yourself & replaced the weatherstripping but you keep pointing to the moulding and the GFs correct you 😂😂😂
Oh wow I mixed it up and I called it weatherstripping and its really called a molding, I’m definitely not a car guy😂 You’re names probably Kyle and drink nothing but monster and drive around in a clapped out v6 mustang running on 2 misfires and hang out by your local high school to impress the new freshman’s😂 haters goanna hate😂
It’s an absolutely solid car. I’ve driven a few isf’s and I’m itching to get one now.
I would definitely recommend it if you can, the car will last you a lifetime
broo i need the name to that head unit
It’s called a Grom Vline
Retains factory navigation screen and fully functional speakers
