Cool feature but not worth it.

Watching this after they did the 4.0 PlayStation portal update to where now from your portal without even owning a PS five you can now do cloud gaming

I’d take a new handheld I love my portal because as much as I love my ps5 pro it’s no good to take away on business trips or holidays with my family and that is where the portal is best because I can take it with me in Ever scenarios just to do something in the hotel or to keep the kids occupied and quiet but it as to be not connected to the ps5 in anyway because that was the biggest downfall of the portal I would have it the ps5 in rest mode and my kids would play the ps5 and switch it off and then have to phone my wife to switch it back on so I could use the portal so I want a stand alone handheld console that you don’t need to connect to the ps6 but give you full access to your digital catalogue of ps5 and ps6 games even ps4 game if Sony is willing to go down that route

I want the return of game cards for the new handheld & cheaper storage options in regards to memory cards.

My PlayStation Portal keeps saying something went wrong and then exiting the game. Anyone has any idea. I just hope Sony fixes it. I am one was who always looking foward the Cloud on the Portal since i heard the rumors about it happening.

Well, that didn't go well. Saw all these videos last week, immediately ordered one. Arrived yesterday, Sunday afternoon, signed up for 1 year sub. Device is beautiful, a work of art. Did the update, logged in and then could not play anything. EVERY game I tried returned "Something went wrong". Reset it several times to no avail. Can log into account, wifi is working but NO GAMES. No option for tech support on the Sony site so I spent an hour this morning on chat getting a refund for my sub and will return the Portal to Amazon. So disappointed.

When i try to play is loading the game in the cloud then say error... Someone knows how to fix it

I still think this should’ve been a system where we could download games and play on them. Of course very high end games would not work well but the fact at the start this was almost like a paid remote play really made me not want to get one

Other than AC: Valhalla, Deathstranding, and Ratchet and Clank, I own all the other decent games, so would be paying £18 per month purely to game when the TV is in use by the kids. If I had more gaming time or didn’t own so many titles I’d be more inclined to subscribe I think.

This guy is finding problems out of nothing. It runs amazing. Nothing is perfect. Fast the complain about. Remote play now play station , upgrade the portal And yet he's still trying to Find something wrong

Man these are all games I've wanted to play but haven't had time but I just ordered a portal because with cloud streaming I feel it's finally worth it. I hope they keep it live and supported for years to come

Does anyone know when we will get this feature in Australia? I got my 30th Anniversary Portal a few days ago and have barely been able to use it because my WiFi is terrible for remote play..
