I kind of like the cloth base seats better and I never use my heated seats. You can also get a base with the performance pack if you wanted. I also dont care much about the speakers in a performance car. The rear spoiler would be nice but I can just buy one already painted and install it myself. BSM is nice but I dont have to have it and adaptive headlights would be more expensive to replace if you ever had to.

4R is a Land Cruiser but more affordable, the Land Cruiser spares no expense both are good just different. I prefer looks of the LC better.

Tacoma discounts are irrelevant to the 4runner. Even with last gen we weren't discounting them while we were doing major discounts on Tacoma's

Sr5 4wd in the sand dunes is great just drop your psi and AT tires minimum

not sure about the pricing on the 4R vs. the LC, both are looking outrageous...skip the 2025 model or wait till later in the year to get discounts after they've been sitting on the lot for a few months.

Nevr had aftermarket UCAs but i fit 17x9 +0 w/ 1.25" spacers with true 33 tires. Never needed the pinch weld mod.

Great video, I just wanted to point out that I have the TRD sport 4x4 and my didn’t come with the 120v AC Power Supply. Now, I live in Puerto Rico and sometimes we don’t get some options that the rest of the US gets.

I agreed with everything you said lol! I love that color too. I have an 2022 is350 f sport in atomic silver. It has the F Sport proformance exhaust, sounds really good! I also put in a air intake, strut tower brace and lowered it 1 inch 😅 looks and handles amazing! I got the AWD one. Next is performance rotors and pads wgen i need them. U should tint the front and windshield windows. I did 35% all around and 50% on the windshield. Its perfect! Not too dark but dark enough lol

Rear lockers and multi terrain select as well as the crawl control are necessary if you live where is deep snow in the winter, which I do. I don’t like the hood scoop because you can’t see the right front corner of the truck when parking or navigating around obstacles on the right side. I had a 2021 TRD Sport and hated the fake scoop. Also the 17 inch wheels have more sidewall than the 18 inch wheels so it rides better.

Just scooped a certified premium 2023 with them not telling me it GR Exhaust for 32k with 3000 miles

Did you get your parts from suspension lifts? If so what option did you select on the rear shocks? Showing three different options for me.

The only thing is the statement that the 2.0 non-turbo engine is the more reliable engine is not necessarily true because it really has to do with how often you service your engine and how you drive not to mention the location that you reside in . I purchased the car that came with the 1.5 turbo engine and I’m always on top of the maintenance of my car with oil changes and anything that needs to be done , I know people who almost never change there oil and never check there air filter for the condition and they literally drive there car until a light will come on that says there oil level is incredibly low and not because there car is old and burning oil but because they haven’t changed there oil in 2 years and it finally became to low ! Every engine burns a tiny bit of oil and that’s why it takes so long for a new engine to get so low on oil but you can imagine the condition of the oil after two years without changing it. And yes this isn’t a fictional story , it’s a true story.

You get the best fuel economy out of all trims. I’m also a cloth seat guy so I’d skip on the Touring.

Great review! I opted for the TRD Off Road because it’s not much more expensive and you actually get a better ride on the road because the TRD Sport’s suspension is stiffer and because it doesn’t have the rear axle locker. Off roading of course is much better in the TRD Off road. It sits a little higher than the Sport and has all terrain tires on the 17 inch wheels rather than the road tires on the 18 inch wheels. I really need the extra height, the skid plates and rear locker for the amount of snow I get in Wyoming. Also the hood scoop on the Sport model interferes with your vision although less so than my 2021 TRD Sport. The last point is the under vehicle view with the Multi-Terrain camera view on the Off Road.

I have the same body style 11th Gen but it’s a 22 Civic EX. And I love it!! Great upgrades & sunroof is worth it too me.

1:06 I often find for this step the parking lots I end up in are quite narrow so the gap/path between the spots on either sides is small and does not give me enough of a turning angle when I position my truck at the angle before turning.

I will say having lockers is better than not. I’ve used them in my bronco plenty of times to get out of stuff. Atleast get a rear locker if u can’t front
