Invoked white woods

with the reveal of the newer White Woods cards, particularly the one quickplay spell that is a negate+revive, I wonder how well a Chimera White Wood deck would play?

Just stop link summoning already. 20 minutes combos, infinite resources. Broken one card link and one card combos which is enabled by link summons. Almost every busted deck that came out in the last 4 years has an op link monster than enabled it. Stop making link monsters for everything. And stop printing broken link 1s and 2s.

I've been playing white wood's with duality, shadow's light branded with dragoon it's just support so u can draw cartesia more easily but cool. Dogmatika is also good with this. Runick doesn't make sense with this honestly it's better to run more mill stuff or even fur hire cards. In branded it doesn't make sense without duality and shadow's light because dusk dragon on board is bad and if you go into dragoon it's way better plus u can synchro into despian lulu easy so yeah. U didn't try enough variants I think. Plus i cut the Wood spell's trap cause u don't need them and u don't run the rank 4 one that draw's the spell's, 3 red 2 level and 2 of the other 2 level and 1 or 2 4 level that can be speciall summoned when drawn. U also cut bystial's except lubellion because u brick.

what hand traps can any of the variants play through, I've been trying to figure it out but unfortunately the only ways really are through crystal wing which is hard to summon early enough for that to matter

Also fun fact for anyone who rly likes snake eye this can search and special summon snake eye ash ;) Literally just make the end board shown in his video send ash then make the fire princess

I guess crafting that Trickstar Burn deck for MD Events forever ago will pay off with a different way to play in the future! Always glad to see decks get new flexibility.

what does it do against like any hand trap?

Glad you made a video on these. I feel like the people I've watched talk about this deck have kind of passed over it.

with giant hand you can also search planet pathfinder, so numeron network support.

A couple of other fun searches are lubellion to setup bystials, or of course gravekeeper's commandant for more stun plays. For the most part though, the XYZ lock probably keeps 90% of the random search targets in check.

This card made me go “ooooh galaxy eyes support, brrrrrt!” And then got sad by how it’s not really galaxy eyes support

No, the card is not good, too restrictive

So i test with seventh tacyon in VS and all i can say its a very good consistency boost even the drawback can be a pain sometimes since the link 1 is essential in winning games

Just commenting to say that ive been working on a WW paleo list for awhile and it does work well doesnt seem anyone but me plays or tries it tho so i recommend it

number 101 silent honor ark can search any water lvl 4 which mean it boosts the consitency of Sharks incredible.

Being able to search schwarzschild dragon once its out is crazy for dragon spam decks

You forgot Exosisters, which benefited greatly by searching Martha to start their combo

Domino’s purge is garbage. Why negate the effect of adding a card from deck when you can just activate droll on res and win anyways. Ash covers everything from deck, this card didn’t even need the restriction to be ok, but with it, the card becomes borderline unplayable.

Ya think putting centurion and runik in white wood will work?

Magic musket runick with time tearing morganite works super well with this. You don't summon much, you have traps in GY, and you're not using hand traps anyways.

Dogmatica or spellbook light casters would be able to use this over ash, but for people looking at this keep in mind you also can’t run it WITH ash as ash is a fire

Horrible card in my opinion. Locking you out of Fire makes it horrible for the current meta obviously, but even in other decks it prevents you from running Ash Blossom when it would be so much better if you could run it alongside it. I really don't get what deck you're supposed to put it on.

A lot of dominus purge's restrictions are for using it from the hand. Couldn't you set it face down as a regular trap going first?

Ash is also a body 3 star tuner with a typing that can be used and searched by some decks

Ash just covers waaaaay too much with its negation to ever be powercrept. A card would have to literally forbid your opponent to even touch their deck to be better than Ash. And this is why ash should be banned. It IS way too overdesigned. You wanna summon something from deck? NO. You wanna search from deck? NO. You wanna send something from deck to gy? NO. It is absurd that A single card can just shut down so many effects. And best part: if your card even remotely mentions touching your deck in any way that isn't exactly banishing or setting from it, even if that isn't the main effect, just a bonus, ash can negate the whole thing. It got so bad that cards are literally designed with ash in mind. Absolutely ridiculous.

Looks like a side deck option going second, can replace ash in main so you can stop opp more effectively by not allowing for talents or thrust. Depends on meta, where those cards are run more. Would grab a playset when they are cheap.
