You really shouldn't have purchased this car. You have too many nit picks that most folks don't care about at that price point. You seem to be disappointed about too much.
Well… if you prefer driving a traverse tells me all i need to know about you as a jeep owner hahaha. Also you have a lease, if you would have bought it and modify it then would be different.
Hello thank you for the reviews. Did you experience any recalls? I'm thinking of buying one but Ive seen reviews about the EV charging recall about 2 months ago
Great video. Plus, you have a great point on 4xe engine lasting to get a lot of miles. And someone that's retired.
Just throwing away money. What a toolbag.
I have had the same car for a year now and not 1 issue. I replaced one of the turbo blow off screws with an anodized aluminum one as a preventative measure but it was a few dollars . Dependable, great in the snow, fast, and the most beautiful thing on the road. My friends with BMWs and Mercs all have major or somewhat serious issues and I'm chilling. Best purchase I ever made . Handles better than my old Subaru legacy too. Can't recommend enough. Btw I do my own oil changes etc.
what did you replace it with?
That plastic emblem on the front grill is plastic because the vehicle's radar is shooting right thru it, won't work if it was metal.
Terrible review dude. You contradict yourself numerous times throughout!
😂 You said you're regular.Boring vehicles are better whatever Mine gets over three hundred mile range I'm the same way.Dealership shouldn't be putting shiny crap all over everything.People need to tell them to stop it
4xe vs traverse is apples to oranges, each vehicle has it’s own advantages and disadvantages.
Thats a lot of dog hair for a loaner vehicle
In my neck of the woods, the 4XE's are turkeys and the local dealers are discounting the list by about $15,000. You would never see that deep discount on an ICE model.
Buys a 45k vehicle and is worried about 5mpg difference… weird budgeting bro.
How much is it
If you want more gas mileage in a family SUV, consider a Subaru Ascent or a Forester buddy. Yes those have a 4 cylinder boxer, or even a Mazda CX5. Those get better mileage than the Atlas.
You're the first to use the line I use on the fake exhaust issue....My first year Arteon has real exhaust, but the DI soot sucks...so fake for me...
The Atlas also comes in a 2.0T which has better fuel than the v6
For a normal jeep owner there going to get 15 miles range all electric with lift and tires ect.. That’s such a joke I think I heard the battery weighs 600-800 extra pounds just not worth it
From a normal jeep owner our 4xE is awesome to be modified and not spend gas haha i do have 3.8 JK, 3.6 JKU and 2.0PHEV now :)
Get rid of these. At 15k miles i had a new transmission put in. Currently on recall and im being told i cant charge it and shouldnt park it near my house. So yeah.... get rid of it.
I got one and never had a problem.
30k miles and only oil changes per 5k miles.
With all the bad press coming out on Stellantis now, it seems like there are some big discounts on new Wranglers since the dealers have so much inventory to move. Once dealer in my town has $18k of discounts off sticker right now which I think includes the tax credits. Might be the time to purchase a new one.
Awesome video Bro! Great job… QUESTION… how do you know when to get an oil change if you are unaware how many “ Electric Miles “ you have??? 🤔🤔🤔
@scottpretopapa7026 the car will tell you. Either way, it's good practice to change oil at least yearly.
I love how it looks but, at least in the US, the charging infrastructure that should've been there to accomodate the slower charging rate and lower battery range doesn't exist for this car to be useful for trips out of the city like how a Subaru owner would be used to. It would've been better off as a hybrid; the country and tech isn't quite there yet for full EVs.
Is that not the Lexus ?
I think the push to neutral should be eliminated. I think that drivers would accidentally push it.
@@MrRey84972 i agree, it feels like it should be park.
This is way more informative than a lot of other reviews on this car where they just read the specs and say to get a Tesla. Looks like a solid car even though the EV part is lacking. As a Honda person I'm glad you didn't criticize it for being a Toyota like I've seen others do.(in fact it makes me want it more) Another thing to note is I know this is a 2024 but last year's solterras are super cheap (20-25k depending on trim vs id4,mach-e ect that really can't be had for less than 30k used) seriously considering one. Any thoughts?
I think if you're aware of the range and it fits in your life, it's a great vehicle. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you didn't test drive a couple competitors, though. The build quality is great and ground clearance is class leading. I appreciate your comment and am glad you enjoyed the video :)
Thanks for the information!
Nice! Now I want to a new car!
Love the interior. Its kinda smaller SUV But really like it and love the console. Great job with the detailed discription.Makes me think about buying a EV.🙂
Thanks! 👍
Super informative and demure.
Glad it was helpful!
Reason: Fuel Mileage.
I just said a sad farewell to my 2021 4Xe on 10/22. It was rock solid reliable and a great vehicle.
What type of tires does this suv have
Do you still have your 2018 Mazda 3 hatchback? Any issues ??? Thank you!
Avg 18?!!! thats cruel. Can feel your pain, sure would be a reason many would backout from buying this , let alone the unreliability associated with VW.
I just got a 2018 mazda 3 gt manual with all the add ons with 44k miles for ~18k, been loving it so far. Tried to go for a touring but there weren't any good deals on that one near me, they all had body damage and or more then 150k miles for only 2-3k less.
Had our rally sport for 4yrs. No issues
Why would VW remove the three-zone climate control for the rear seats? Makes no sense.
I loved to hear your story with 4XE. I agree 100%, me being a new owner of an used 2022 Rubicon 4XE(bought 1 month ago and my first full gast tank has not passed 1/4 yet) although I drove almost 800 miles already so mustly on the EV motors. For those commuting up to 40/50 miles a day I believe its an awesome car with amazing combined mpg. I love the torque and how it drives and Jeep hit the ball park with this one. BTW, mine has the same color. Towing and constant high milage highway trips are not ideal for this vehicle. I only do 2 or 3 of those a year. Cheers. BTW I bought mine used for 39k and 35k miles on the odometer. Sticker price 2 years ago was 65k, but discounted the federal cash back it was way cheaper.
I'm about to trade in my Wrangler for a Bronco. Jeeps are cool but I've owned two and they've had to go to the shop collectively, about 25 times.
Sounds like your complaint is personal. You may enjoy it better if you clean it. I love mine.
Nice car. But id personally give it mtt tyres
Fair enough!
I haven't had any issues with mine and I'm 2 year's in. Not one problem. Just like anything sometimes things break.
Good review!! I assume 2023 model of ID4 doesn’t have heat pump. Do you have any issues in winter?
Range does suffer, but it's honestly not bad. Figure 180 miles of range.
@@amentauto3610 thank you for your response. I ended up getting Cadillac Lyriq lol
Great job on your review 👍
Thank you! 👍
Nice
Thanks
Lease incentive is still good to date. I agree prices have risen and are now going up to the roof but with the tax rebate for EV and the Jeep incentive, you can still score a good deal. We got a 2024 4xe Sahara with comfort pack, alpine sound system and the driver assist/security pack with a one-touch roof for a $56k at the door price after a bit of negotiation and thanks to the EV rebate and the Jeep incentive taking a good $10k off the price (altogether, the price was supposed to be above $70k), making it very affordable to lease. And just like you, we love our 4xe!
These leased 3 years ago for 350 a month.
I hear you on the gas milage, i love jeeps and was going to buy one of the E.V but went with A suv Gmc just for cost wise. Your going to love the Treverse and i cant wait for the vidio on that one. Always your vidios are so informative. Thank you for posting these for us.
