Should be laying down mid 600s w e85 and turbos.
Is the CEL on with the catted DP? Stupid question but I know these cars are finicky. I just purchased valvetronic mufflers and am doing an x pipe as well as the midpipes but was considering doing catted dp along with it
707hp?I wonder if possible case someone already done, thank you😊
Are those reg srm rs7 turbos?
Yes they are
Sounds great!
How does APR get such high numbers on an s6 with only a stage 1 tune??? Makes me wonder... Yours has way more mods👍
Audi S6 stage 3 - SRM RS7 turbos and APR dps w/cat ....... read numnutz
@@stephenEs3532 Lmao… Clearly need to take your own advice 😂
Music to my ears
What exhaust? Why is it so quiet? Don't like it lol
What’s the difference between this engine and the one in the same year rs7?
The RS7 has lower compression, larger turbos and more boost.
wish I had 93 octane here. Im only stage 1 so 550 hp according to APR. I got 430 whp but it was in the over heat mode so it was cut back. I can feel a BIG difference between cool and hot temps. Hot being over 100. 571 Whp is about 680 flywheel. I'm jealous. Do you have a 0-60 time?
Best I ever saw with was ~3.0s (~2.8s with 1 ft rollout)
What year? I’m looking at this 2013 S7 for 30k cuz I wrecked my A6 but want to upgrade. I plan on upgrades too
2013
@@vman932 that’s dope bro
@@vman932 the only thing I’m worried about is the weight. It’s def possible stage 3 rs7 turbo upgrade, reduced weight and supporting mods to go with it to run 9’s at the strip. My buddy did it. He had a 14 S7
What tuner did you go with ?
This dyno was with APR Stage 3 software. I did later switch to DS1 though.
@@vman932was it faster on ds1?
@@jay_2168 I honestly don't recall. If it was it, wasn't by much. Performance was very similar.
Would you recommend apr exhaust with or without centre muffler? I just got a S6 and thinking about witch one to go since they are the best value for the proce
I never ran it without the center muffler. I wanted it to be as quiet as possible when cruising, that's why I went with the center muffler.
@@vman932 Thanks for helping me make up my mind Sir.
Do you recommend APR or DS1 Stage 3 for OTS mapping and 93 octane? I have Apr stage 1 and upgraded SRM 4+. FYI, I was going to buy your car last year in Marietta but I was too late.😂
I had no issues with my APR Stage 3 tune. Good power, smooth, great mpg on the highway. However, the DS1 has much more capability as it is open source. You can optimize for turbos beyond RS7 size (like your 4+) and also for inlets like SRM offers. The biggest benefit is the ability to run flex e85 (with the other required supporting hardware).
@@vman932 just ordered DS1/SRM tune and inlets and AWE exhaust for now😝. E85/Flex Fuel upgrades next year. Thanks for the feedback.
@@vman932
Does the dsg have upgraded clutchpacks?
No. Transmission and clutchpacks are both stock.
That's 1 fast ass Audi.
What mufflers are those?
APR
Hey Ted, I absolutely love the S6. I purchased it from Gas Motor Cars and have been extremely impressed.
@H 2 I'm glad you are enjoying it. It is a great package and does everything very well. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about the car. I bought it stock in 2017, so I know all the mod history. I also have a few other mods that I never got around to installing that you might be interested in.
Sounds and looks on point. Rotors never get old... Have you dynoed it?
Thanks. Most recent dyno was 589 whp 679 ftlbs.
@@vman932 nice. A blast to drive probably. I'm looking to get a 14 S6. Only thing is, not sure why they don't dyno close to RS7 numbers (700hp more or less) with the same mods/turbo... I'm hoping The DS1 software on e85 ,FBO, methanol ,might get me close to 650 on a semi agressive tune. We'll see.
What brand is your rear mufflers?
Exhaust and downpipes are APR.
How loud is it inside the car?
There is some drone/boom/resonance with the valves open below 2500 rpm. WIth the valves closed it is only slightly louder than stock. I bought a CETE module to control the valve operation, because on the C7 cars, the valves only open and closed based cylinder deactivation mode, not comfort/dynamic.
How are the turbos holding up? I’m considering getting these for my s6 too
No issues so far. I only have ~7000 miles on them though.
How are those SRM turbos holding up. I'm currently stage2 looking to stage3 soon. Our cars look similar except I have the blackout package
No issues so far. I only have ~7000 miles on them though.
What set up are you running?
Details are in the description.
Nice. Just got a stage2 S6 recently, better than I expected I have a few vids
Sup man. What are your wheel specs? love your car
20x9 ET35 with a 6mm spacer to clear the calipers, so effectively a ET29. Tires are 255/35/20 MPS4S
@@vman932 Are these oem rotor wheels?
@@Mizzoubaseballll No, they are aftermarket.
@@vman932 What company? These looks great for aftermarket
@@Mizzoubaseballll No name ebay reps 🤣. I don't see them on ebay anymore though. Alzor makes a nice looking rep with good concavity. 20x9 ET30 and they are currently on sale at ECS for $825. www.ecstuning.com/b-alzor-parts/20-style-628-wheels-set-of-four/628-13kt/
is this your car?
Yes it is.
what is your instagram?
Are those RS5 rotors?
They are RS5 rotor replicas. 20x9 ET 35 with a 6mm spacer to clear the front brakes. So 20x9 with an effective ET of 29 versus 20x9 ET 26 for authentic RS5 rotors. It's hard to see in this video, but the concavity is very similar to authentic RS5 rotors as well.
How do you like the SRM turbos? My stock turbos died and was looking into aftermarket parts.
No complaints so far. Cheaper than stock S6/S7 turbos, more robust (billet compressor), and make more power (with appropriate tune). No downside that I can see.
@@vman932 what kind of exhaust are those? Also how the transmission holding im stage2 now lookin to stage3 it
@@nigels6786 No issues with the transmission. The exhaust is APR.
So what exactly did you do to the exhaust ?
APR downpipes with cats and APR exhaust with mid muffler.
windows down or up in this video?
Windows down.
Ted Volkman thx!
I'm in sc. Wanna sell it let me know haha
I'm very happy with the car and was not looking to sell it, but everything is for sale if the offer is right ;)
Okay this sounds amazing lmao
Great numbers! what are you running for an air intake?
Stock S6 airbox, filter, pipes and inlets. I have the SRM long tube intakes with inlets but haven't installed them yet. I wanted to baseline it with all stock intake components and then see if I could replicate the gains SRM claims.
That’s pretty good for still running the stock components. Thanks and keep us updated.
@@vman932 have you installed the SRM intake yet and redyno'd. Ibhave the same setup and wonder where my power is after the intake
@@russjameson2005 No not yet. I probably won't until APR's next dyno day, which I assume will be fall of 2020.
What numbers ?
571 whp - 616 ft-lbs 93 octane tune
Ted Volkman Nice numbers fir 93Oct but did you ever try E85 or race fuel ?
@@Svarogperformance - I did add a can of Boostane Professional in with a full tank of 93 for insurance on the dyno. I didn't know how long it might be idling and heat soaking prior to the pulls. I have never run the 100 or 104 octane tune.
What boost you running ?
Sounds fantastic! great numbers
Any cooling upgrades done or just the upgraded turbos and dps?
I have a CWA100 pump. That is the only cooling upgrade.
@@vman932 pretty easy install?
@@RUMble_AK49 Very simple. I just opened my wallet and paid the tech who installed it ;) He did it while installing the RS7 turbos and new oil separator, so everything was already taken apart.
@BeastlyS7 I didn't datalog before and after, but it was a relatively cheap and easy mod to do "while you're in there". I figured it couldn't hurt.
@BeastlyS7 I did the pump at the same time as the turbos, so no way to really tell. The specs are significantly better than the stock pump, but I've never seen any back to back comparisons . I think the SRM pump is the only one with well documented improvements, but it is also ~$1000.
That's a nice road you guys are driving on.
