Welcome back my friend. Hopefully the Red sweep will bring some positive changes in this great country. Back to the 6mm, have you seen all of Hornady's offerings? The 105 Aeromatch, the 110 A-Tip, and the commercially available 109 ELD-M? I was thinking that's why you went back, but you didn't mention them? Two new .25cal bullets out as well! Hope you get a nice deer with a rifle, not the new rig.. and that you get some more shooting in before your wonderful Midwestern winter sets in. I was going to get a 22 ARC until I looked at the price of the ammo. At Midway USA the 22 arc ELD-VT ammo is 3 dollars more a box than my 6 ARC, what the hell? @@michaelcervantez3570 Sorry. I was following ya but was passing along a different resource for cheaper ammo. My point on top of yours, is that Midway has priced themselves out of my market on a lot of things. As for 22arc ammo (which sgammo had some of too in stock), you are correct, it should be cheaper. Alternatively, 6.5 Grendel brass necked down and you have a 22ARC. It's about as simple as making 22DPC ammo out of 6ARC brass.

They don't hold anything other than what they were designed to do. Air... no dice. A liquid from point A to B, yes... that's about it. I tried blowing them up, I tried sealing the lid, I tried "supporting them" to take pressure off. I tried different lids. I tried it all. Ultimately the water pressure from the outside with the weight of the dock/structure is too much for the inner tote. The tote my be be good for pressure inside out with liquid and aluminum exoskeleton. But outside in, it folds like a milk jug

Hi All, this does work but the totes need to go in upside down with the 2" valve closed and the 6" fill cap removed. I mount the tote to a sheet of PWF plywood, fill with water to sink, flip upside down, position under my dock (my application was an existing boathouse where the black billets are failing so the ibc tote goes under the existing billets) and then fill with compressed air through old garden hose fixed into the fill cap hole on the top (now the bottom as its upside down under water) of the tote. My oldest totes have been underwater for 3 summers (and 2 freezing winters) so far with no issues. When you think about it all of the forces on the tote are identical to it when its upside right on land. The PSI of the air in the tote is only something like 8 PSI max and the plastic valve /tote is capable of managing that. I am just wondering how long it will last but I know that the barrels last a really long time even in applications where they freeze into the ice, so my hope is the IBC tote will be the same. If anyone has more experience let me know.

30 mph wind, a 3 dollar table that’s as shaky as a 50 dollar swing set. Bag of whatever for a rest. That ruger 204 will shoot same hole groups if you had it right ….

I got a trigger spring from Mcarbo for my 1975 Winchester model 70 that factory spring was set at 12 lbs ? The trigger is now 3 lbs. I tried to adjust the factory spring down to 3 lbs, which it will do, however, it failed my drop test 10 of 10 times !!! In this test you cock the rifle and hit the butt of the stock, if the tigger fires, that's a failure !! It simulates dropping your rifle from a tree stand !! You Do Not want any rifle to fail a drop test. Especially since we often hand down a rifle to our children after we no longer want to shoot it ! Those are the last people on earth we want to get shot with a rifle we gave them as a family treasure !! The trigger spring from Mcarbo passed every drop test I gave the modified rifle ! I think the new spring was 12 dollars ! A much better shooting rifle plus safer that the original setup ! It took 10 minutes to replace the factory trigger spring ! I think that is money well spent !
